Absolutely. The winter months all I want to eat are starches and meats, it's horrible. I could eat a brick of cheese with crackers and slices of summer sausage for a meal easily if I lacked self control. That and steak and potatoes, stews, and soups and such. The spring comes along all I want is salads, pasta salads, and strawberries. Summer is still salads and fruits, but almost no meats, baked anythings, or sweets. I hate the bloat feeling I get in the summer months after a bowl of pasta like lasagna, or the heat that comes from the oven filling my tiny house is unbearable. The fall months bring me back to starches, baked anythings, casseroles, and heartier soups.

Oh for sure! I live in WNY and it is so much easier to eat healthy in the spring and summer. When the weather starts to get cold I start to crave warm comfort foods, pasta, mashed potatoes, stuff like that. My fiancÚ and I recently bought a juicer, we are still working out the kinks but its a good way to get in more fruits & veggies.
