No I don't have a garden. But I grew up in the rural part of North Carolina. We had a big garden, lots of grape vines, fruit and nut trees, blueberry and strawberry patches. That's the only part I miss.

Yes I did say chocolate mint the smell is so nice. I am looking forward to using the mint leaves in teas and also in the homemade mint icecream I am going to make since it calls for mint leaves in it, that and anything else I come up with to make. Maybe even try use the leaves to make some chocolate mint water similar although probably better then what they sell in stores for outrageous prices.

I started one. The cucumber plant seems to be growing but not much for cucumbers on there yet. I have a pepper plant but each time it would look like one was starting a day or to later gone-nothing. Have had some small heads of brocolli, the corn looks like it is going to be small not useable ears. But the one thing that grew like crazy was the chocolate mint plant I planted in a hanger pot outside and the spicy oregano also on a hanger pot outside. If I had planted the chocolate mint in the garden it would have taken it over and then some. As is I am going to have to cut it down quite a bit before I can bring it inside over the winter months which I don't want to think about yet. This is the first summer I have had any luck with herbs like that.
Yes I did have a garden this year. Only got a couple zuchini, cucumbers and tomatos though. Even though I was watering every night, the heat still got to the plants. So now I have to go to the Amish to get my zuchini to make bread.

People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing- that's why we recommend it daily.
