Well, the Halloween decorations and candy wrappers are scattered around the house, the party leftovers thrown out (verses being eaten, a habit I'm trying to break) and the tinsel sparkled holidays glow in the not far off distance. Now is the time to buckle down and commit to my nutrition/exercise plan and hold it fast in front of me as a shield against the storm of holiday cooking, guilt and excess. I think these few weeks before Thanksgiving will be a huge help to me as they allow serious strategy planning time that will allow me to maintain my success. I am makeing menu plans to cover the next two months so that my grocery shopping will be focused. I want to enlist my husband and a few friends to help me be mindful of my goals and not let fatigue or nasty weather encourage me to hibernate. I hope for all of you a joyful holiday season!
