Happy Sunday!

We have been having fun this weekend watching some baby ducks that hatched on Friday in a neighbor's flowerpot. Yesterday, they got out of the pot and spent the day swimming and learning the ropes from mommy duck. Last night, she couldn't get them back into the pot. They apparently can't fly yet and couldn't make the distance from the water to the flower pot which is on our neighbor's dock. Mommy tried for about 3 hours to get them to go in the pot and finally gave up when it was completely dark out. Mommy spent the night in the pot and we think the babies spent the night in the water under the dock. Fortunately, they all made it through the night and they are all following her around again today. I'm going to try to take some pictures today.

Shari~ So glad that you have Penny in your life-she is a gem!

Read thru all the posts...I have been doing projects, too many I guess, because my hip is bothering me. Went to Chiropractor and he thinks it is a Bursa...so I have to take it easier. Ice is good for the hip and I took an Epsom salts bath today...I do hope it heals quickly! My Dr. doesn't have to see me until Sept. when DH and I go for our annual checkups. If it gets worse I may have to get in....ugh, was hoping to go thru this year with no more medical issues.

Zoom-zoom~I don't eat soy as a rule because of my thyroid. They put soy in so many things though it is hard to avoid sometimes!

Have a blessed Memorial Day everyone!

Haven't been able to get my results yet; with it being a holiday weekend, they probably won't be posted until Tuesday now.

I'm getting some things done today though; almost done with the laundry.
My friend Penny is here and she is going to start painting my shed today; it's needed it for a long time. It's still a faded greenish color from when the last owner had it before I got this place about 20 years ago. I'm going to have it painted white and the trim dark trim green, so it will match my house, which is white with dark green trim.

Elizabeth .....

Yes I am walking gently and resting. It is hard for me to slow down and do it as I am so active even in my old age of 70. I walk for 30 min at 1:30am as I woke up and could not go back to sleep. Then after walking I slept like a baby and got my 8hrs in.

HI All,

Deanna, I hope you continue to heal following surgery. It is simply not easy. Rest well! It is wonderful that the cancer is shrinking.

Kay, yes The Power of Slow has served me well. I balance out rest with exercise. As I build this year, I know it will take time, but there is no rush. The body will speak to us. Keep going. I take Potassium for muscle cramps...I swim and it ensures me that it will not happen in the warter.

Shari, it is wonderful that the hemoglobin count was in normal range. YEA! I am glad you made it through the CT scans and now the wait for the results. I think of you often.

Sue, I do hope you get your CT scans soon. I hope you can get to the bottom of the sleeping. I have sleep apnea and use a c-pap every night.

Julie, I admire you with your most interesting life.

Melissa, you are a busy gal. I hope the new medication will help you with weight loss. This is a summer to celebrate - 3 years in remission!

Ida, rest well and walk gently!

As I increase my exercise, I also am resting during the in between days. I had no idea that one could lose so much muscle tone with cancer treatments and hospitalizations. Slowly I will build back up. I am strong in some ways, but weak in others. My PT has given me 3-4 wonderful stretches to allow me more strength in going up stairs and in walking.

Have a beautiful weekend all.

Thank you . Yes every day I feel a little better. I have one incision which is in the belly button area that hurts a lot. I don not know why he did one of the 3 there.
You will have to try to take some pictures of mamma duck being feed by your DH. and then if she brings the babies over. I like doing things like that. We have a fox that comes to me and I feed him also. I love the wildlife.

Melissa, I'm sorry you have to be taking more medication. I hope it helps you. It sounds like you have your hands full with the goats and the projects around your place this summer.

Ida, I hope you are feeling a little better by the time you read this. Surgery is tough.

For the past month, we have been watching a mamma duck that laid eggs in a flower pot on our next-door-neighbor's boat dock. I think the baby ducks hatched yesterday. Mamma was really fussing with the nest and every once in a while I could see a little head pop up! So cute! From what we have read, the ducklings stay in the nest the first 24 hour after hatching and then mamma takes them out for their first swim. She was still on the nest this morning fussing around so we didn't miss the great event of the first swim. It's been so much fun watching this process. Hubby feeds mamma duck some special duck food we bought at the local livestock store. She races toward Hubby when she sees him out on the porch. It would be very cool if she brought her babies up close to him too. We always keep our distance from the nest and use binoculars to watch her when she is on it. I am curious if daddy duck will come help with the babies after they are hatched. He has been quite the "helpmate" throughout the spring as mamma went through the laying of the eggs and sitting on the nest processes.

I haven't been on for a bit I get down when its time for a check up...

You have to love kids! My son very proudly told my doctor today they might be able to shine a light threw me! I had back surgery in 2008, and the total hysterectomy in 2012...

DR said I was one of his first, and still living patients. He just started his practice here in 2012. In August, we get to celebrate 3 years remission, and him being here for 3 years! Just depends on how this test comes back. Blood tests are back, and I have to go from no drugs to 2 new drugs. Doctor thinks that both drugs can help me to lose weight! No more doctor visits for me tell August.

The Smaller goats are escaping. I have to keep my eyes on them. We will have to restring the electric fence to keep them in! Last year MIL let them free roam, and they destroyed an acre of our neighbor's alfalfa field. They also got into another neighbor's wheat field...The front pen keeps the majority of them in, but there is no shelter. I need to replace a fence in the back pen where the barn is. Then maybe this summer we might get a shelter built in the front pen. I guess Junes project is to clean out the barn, and fix temporary shelters

Not feeling good today. Having stomach pains and pain in my shoulder. They said that I would have some. Today I am resting some and did a little walking also. I am trying to keep positive that this will take care of the Hiatal Hernia problem also like the DR thinks it will.

Everyone have a good weekend and a safe one. We are not doing anything special.

Deanna, I'm so happy for you that the tumor is shrinking and you are feeling better too.

Shari, I hope your scan results come quickly and there is little or no progression. (hugs)

I've been having problems with muscle cramps lately. I think it might be from taking calcium and vitamin d. It can get magnesium levels out of balance so I am trying some magnesium today to see if they will stop. I have an appointment with my breast surgeon next Friday and will bring it up with her to see if I should be doing anything further.

Deanna, that is great news that the tumor is shrinking!

I got through my scan ok, thought I was going to get sick after the dye was injected, but it was only dry heaves. I was tired from getting up early today to drink the barium shakes, but I took a nap after I got home and felt a lot a better after that. Now I am just waiting for the report to show up online.

Elizabeth, I like the Power of Slow, also:)
Deanna, so happy to hear there is no cancer! That is a big woohoo!
Ida, good to hear you are doing well after your surgery!
Kay, I think you have the right attitude! You sure don't want to wear yourself down and make yourself susceptible to anything.
Julie, I'm glad you let us know in advance, enjoy your time away.
Shari, happy to hear your doing better too!
Rita, good information. I haven't read that, but might look into it.

I have been sleeping so much! I got off work early yesterday and slept 12 hours. I tried to wake up a couple of times, but just couldn't stay awake. They still haven't scheduled my CT Scan and it's been a least a couple of weeks now. Shari, that was really fast for your CT scan to be scheduled! My insurance takes forever to authorize any tests it seems.

Hope everyone has a good 3 day weekend!

Had a blood draw before surgery. Hemoglobin was at 10 and they were happy with that.
Not so much bleeding as last time (they had a lot of cauterizing to do to stop the bleeding).
I was so out of it last week I didn't remember hardly anything, slept most of the day.

This week was a 180 degree turn around. I was awake for most of the day after surgery.
Did sleep some so I got much needed rest. Told the Dr I looked up the implant device they
use to deliver the radiation, a scary looking thing. He said that he doesn't encourage that
type of checking. Probably because it would scare the patient.

Did well pre-surgery, no fainting, good BP and pulse. Dr is pleased with the results, tumor has shrunk considerably and no cancer showing up in the area. Woo-Hoo. Have to go early Sunday for another CBC blood test.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

Shari, That was quick to get your CT scan scheduled.

Ida, glad to hear you are home and recovering.

Elizabeth, like your power of slow too.

Deana, hope things went well today.

I had a normal day at work and will be leaving for quilt guild shortly.

I will not be on for a few days so don't worry.

Take care.

Deanna, I hope your surgery went well today, and without the bleeding you had with the other one.

My blood counts were good today, my hemoglobin was 12.1 today; that is actually within the normal range!

The hospital called about a half hour ago, my CT scans are scheduled for tomorrow morning.

Ida, glad you are recuperating. I feel like I forget how painful surgeries are until I have another one. The good news is the pain from surgery does get better.

Elizabeth, I love the concept of the Power of Slow. I believe it works. I've also become a big believer of moderation when it comes to exercise. I don't like to wear my body out anymore the way I used to before cancer. I want my body in tip-top shape for fighting stray cancer cells and I don't think that's possible if I run myself into the ground doing things. I feel the same way about sleep. It's a priority item for me these days.

It's damp and cool here in Tennessee this morning. I plan on spending the day getting the house back in order from the carpet installation and the paint job.

Hope everyone has a good day today!

I am glad everything went well with your surgery.

Everyone else.....
I hope all is going well with you.

I am just starting to catch up on reading all the posts. I am feeling so, so today. Normal after surgery hurts, but they will go away. I can not lift anything over 7 pounds for 4 weeks. That is going to drive me crazy as it means I can not do anything cleaning wise in my home.
DH is being helpful to some extent if you know what I mean.

Well prayers are there for all and have a good day.

Good morning, SP friends,

My husband is gone to see family for two weeks. This is the first time I have been on my own since my stem cell transplant. I move carefully and slowly, doing small chores at a time---taking garbage out in small bags, picking up a few items at the grocery store, etc. It is working for me.

I have increased my exercise since I am now off my chemotherapy drugs. This is the year I regain my strength. Twice this week I have been to the YMCA - I swam my 1/2 mile plus another 1/2 hour of water exercises (pilates). I am going to my new Tai Chi class tonight. I have also joined a small group of women who have a "private" exercise class with our physical therapist.. This is huge challenge for me, but it is fun. I call all of this The Power of Slow. My new shoes are helping.

I am trying to keep up with you ladies on your comings and goings. This is a fast moving group! I hope you all have a beautiful day.

Deanna, glad you are feeling better after the transfusion.
Shari, happy to hear you only have to get the shots every 28 days, that is great!
Kay, new carpet is still good, and when you paint again it will feel great! That's wonderful that you are going line dancing. That is great exercise and so much fun!
Julie, I hope the twins are doing good and gaining weight!
Rita, I would love to see pictures of the tiny babies too:)

Survivor was great last night! The right person won in my book! Can't wait for next season:)
My son brought over some small pallets that we are going to put under my garden pool so it is not on the ground. It will be so much easier on my knees and back when I replant it this year. I should have already planted it but I just can't get down that low anymore. lol

Sue, it is my friend that had twins over the weekend. They were several weeks early. Last I heard mom and babies were doing well.

I had a normal day at work. Then came home and gave our dog a bath. I had to carry him up and down the stairs because he can barely walk so can't do stairs. We has a back injury that has effected his back legs. Now I have a shedding dog rather then a stinky one.

Take care everyone!

Julie

Sue, I'm glad you got a new doctor, I remember when you having all those problems getting tests scheduled and things like that.

Ida, glad the surgery went well.

CheriAnn; I remember when I was kid, my dad had a vegetable garden, and he grew rhubarb too. The only thing I can remember it being used for was pie, lol! I'm sure there are healthier ways to use it though.

I had an oncologist appointment today; I now can start getting the Halotestin injection every 28 days instead of every 2 weeks. He also ordered CT scans, but I am waiting for the hospital to call me with my appointment time. I see him again in 3 weeks.

Hi All!

Ida, I'm glad your surgery went well. Thanks for letting us know.

We got the carpet installed yesterday and it looks good. Unfortunately, we blew it on the paint color that we chose. The undertones in the grey carpet and grey walls are completely different. We will repaint the walls (eventually). It still looks much better than what it looked like before we started this project so while the project wasn't a complete success....it is a big improvement.

We are going to line dancing class in a few minutes. We haven't been in almost two weeks. I always feel like I forget everything when I miss a few classes. It will be fun anyway....and good exercise. I fell behind on my exercise minutes while I was out of town, but I'm not worried about it. I did a lot of yardwork and housework at my son's house. It didn't register on my Fitbit as active minutes, but I know I got a workout.

Wishing everyone a good day.

Kay from Tennessee

Melissa, I'm glad it was only a dog though, even though you are being teased about it, what a relief to know it wasn't a coyote:)
Thank you all for your care and concern about the people in my life that aren't doing well:)
Cheri, Rhubarb is always good!
Kay, so glad they showed up and you have new carpet. I know how good it feels to have new carpet, well I bought a new rug for the living room awhile back and it still feels good to walk in and see it every day:)
Julie, was it a friend of yours that had the 3lb babies? How is she doing? At first I thought you were talking about baby lambs, but I don't think lambs could be that small and live. You were talking about a person, right? I still don't know...lol
Ida, I'm so glad you're home and the surgery went well! I hope you feel so much better now!
Shari, I hope you are still feeling better from the transfusion!
Zoom, hope you get everything done you plan on doing:)
The Survivor Finale is tonight and I can't wait to see it, but sad to know it is over. Whatever will I do on Wednesday nights now? lol
I can't wait for Big Brother to start now...and it's on 3 times a week!
I finally called and got another Primary Care doctor. My last doctor I have had so many problems with. I tried to get my medicine refilled 2 months ago or more, and the pharmacy has faxed it to them 3 times and even tried calling them, and they still haven't filled it. They asked me over a year and a half ago if I had my mammogram and I said no, yet they still have not ordered one, it's going on 2 years since I had one now. I also asked for a nebulizer and they said they would order one, but I've never gotten one and that's been over 2 years since I asked. When I call for an appointment, the phone rings and rings then hangs up. When I go in for appointment, I always have to wait 2 hours and that is no exaggeration! I hope this new doctor is good! I go on June 10th, so we'll see....

I am so tired of being teased!!! Yesterday morning I went to the barn to milk. and we had an unwanted visitor hanging out in the barn. It had dug its way under the door. I think it was trying to get to the baby goats. I was not going to let it out, and called my husband to come kill it. I have only shot a gun 4 times in my life, and have no idea how to load the things. He was busy with escaped cows. When he called back, the animal had escaped. My son saw it later in the day. I thought it was a coyote, but its actually a stray or neighbor's dog. Now my husband's coworkers are teasing me about coyotes...howling and yelping UGH!

Glad surgery went well!

Well I did not pace myself. Worked a couple of hours over and then dropped off all of the recycle(paper from home and work, cans for the youth missions trip, Styrofoam at a container factory).

I then cut all of the dead branches out of the raspberry bushes so I can get to them when they are ripe and cut them up and put them in a bag to go out. After that I picked rhubarb. Don't know what I am going to make with it yet....

Now to rest!! DH is cooking hamburger for us tonight........! so appreciate when he cooks!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

The carpet installers showed up bright and early here this morning. They had been scheduled for today almost a month ago, but we weren't sure if they were coming since we didn't get a confirmation call from Lowes yesterday. Usually when Lowes is involved with work around the house, we get a call the day before just to confirm everything. We were prepared for them today and I'm really looking forward to seeing the end result.

Sue, I'm sorry to hear about so many people in your life having a rough time right now. I lost a friend to colorectal cancer yesterday evening. Fortunately, she went peacefully and pain-free. It sounds like hospice did a really good job of caring for her in the end. I'm sad that she is gone, but very glad that she didn't suffer in the end.

Shari, I hope you are feeling much better today after having your transfusion a few days ago.

Wishing everyone the best today.

Good morning SP!
I woke up with a headache and nausea. I hope it passes soon and I feel good enough to go to work today.
My brother's best friend died of brain cancer the other day. She has been sick for a long time but was doing well then suddenly took a turn for the worse. She wasn't very old. I think only in her 40's. It's very sad.
My nephew and niece's father is also in the hospital and it doesn't look good. He stopped breathing the other day, and then his heart stopped and they had to do CPR on him for over 15 minutes. He is intubated and on a ventilator, and they draining fluids off his lungs, and now is on dialysis. It does not look good. Even if he survives, they believe he has some brain damage.
I have known him since 1970, and he was married to my sister for many years and of course, they had the 2 kids together. I feel so badly for my nephew and niece. For any one who prays, please say a prayer for Gerry and his children and family.

This post is very depressing to say the least, so on a good note, it felt so good to come home from work yesterday to a clean house, with the sun shining and a nice cool day!

Ida, hope your surgery went well and you are doing better!
Kay, I'm so happy you had such a good time with your son!
Cheri, glad to hear you had a good time with your sister and brother too:)
Shari, hope the shot is making you feel better!
Julie, did your friend have twins? or maybe more? 3 lbs. is so very tiny, I hope they are all doing well!
Zoom, you always sound so cheerful and full of energy:)
Hope everyone has a good day:)

All the heavy stuff is almost done the rest is clutter. You see I'm in a Handicapped Apartment that is almost Handicapped. All the Appliances are normal sized, the door's are wider, the bathroom is wider with a shower but, the closets has a closet pole that is for a person that is six foot tall not sitting in a wheelchair the shelf is above it. Obviously not a disabled planner did the diagrams. So I am forced to lay my outside clothes over a hamper top in matched set's emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon .

ZoomZoom I hope everything is done and you can rest a bit~and that all went well!

Shari~I hope your energy levels stay up enough for you to do what you need to do!

Julie~I really must try quilting one of these days...

Full day again today....worked and then ran over to my Moms so I could see my brother before he left for home.......stayed until they took my sister to the airport. Then came home and did a bit of yard work...got the old wood pile taken care of ...next is cutting rhubarb and taking down old raspberry canes that are not producing...I will try and get that done tomorrow after work. I still have a lot of weeding to do and DH still has not rototilled or planted the garden so I will have to help with that. Having to get the inside tidied up as well. My cousin will be coming over to pick up a table that is in the basement and maybe some old windows. She does amazing things repurposing old furniture and shutters, windows, etc.

Other than chores there is not much going on the rest of the week so I can get in some rest! YooHoo! I have been pushing myself a bit hard and my hip has been bothering me. I need to cut back a bit I think.

Weekends are too short. It was back to work today. I got a fair amount done. Things have been crazy busy so I have been picking up several of the report reviews on top of my data review so I am not sure I will be caught up by the time I am off for a few days. Fortunately I am able to get by with minimal over time while some of the techs are putting in 12 hours or more per day. I am so glad to be out of the lab at times like this.

My co-worker had her babies over the weekend. The babies weighed about 3 lbs each. Mom and babies are doing well. Please keep them in your prayers.

I sewed the binding on 7 quilts tonight. I have my projects ready for our trip this weekend.

Take care everyone.

Julie

Welcome back Elizabeth and Kay!

Ida, keeping you in my prayers today, I know your surgery was this morning.

ZoomZoom, hope your inspection goes well.

Deanna, hope you are doing ok.

I had my Halotestin injection this morning, which has been every 2 weeks. I didn't get the next one scheduled yet, since my oncologist told me the last time I saw him, that he would probably have me do them once per month after the next time he sees me, which will be this Wednesday, so they are going to wait and see what he wants to do before scheduling the next injection.

Hi All!

I'm back in Tennessee after a week-long trip to Chicagoland and Wisconsin to visit friends and family. I spent a lot of time with my youngest son helping him with a massive amount of house and yard work. I enjoyed every minute of it and hated to leave, but it was great to get back to our new home in Tennessee.

Ida, I hope you surgery went smoothly and resolved the problem.

Elizabeth, it sounds like your strength is coming back bit by bit.

Last Friday was the one year anniversary since my last treatment. Everyone says it takes about a year to recover from surgery, rads and chemo for breast cancer. I think they are about right. I feel pretty good a year later. I'm not 100% back to where I was before cancer, but I feel I can do a pretty normal level of activity now.

Hope everyone has a good Monday!

Kay

I know how important exercise is, l try to do some every day. I have House work that is more important right now, we are being sold and the new owner's are going to do a COMPLETE INSPECTION OF ALL PROPERTY INSIDE AND OUT THIS FRIDAY. They want to get an estimate of what it will cost to bring this property up to their expectations!!! The last 2 day's, I did the 2 hardest job's in the apartment the refrigerator and watering my Jungle of plants. I have a small spot on the bottom of the oven that need's help but, the rest is just clutter. Even though it isn't traditional exercise I am definitely getting it, my body is hurting every morning. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Elizabeth, sounds like you have been keeping busy.

Ida, I will say a pray for you and hope everything goes well with your surgery.

Had a fairly nice Sunday. My friend Susan and her daughter Claire came out to see the sheep and lambs. Claire is turning into a very nice young lady. The last time I saw her she was in 6th grade she is now in high school and almost taller then her mom.

This evening I got binding made for 9 quilts. The sewed two on to the quilts.

Well it is back to work tomorrow. It is going to be busy week because we are going to being getting ready for a trip to MI to visit mom, plus I have quilt guild meeting and I am doing a program on spinning and a dentist appointment.

Take care everyone!

Julie

If I miss a few days...I am far behind on your daily ups and downs!

emoticon I was in Boston attending my daughter's graduation from Simmons Graduate School. Yesterday, I took my husband to the airport to go to Virginia for two weeks to visit his son and 5 month old grandson. He is so worried about me, but I reassured him I am fine. This is the first time on my own for this length of time since my stem cell transplant.

emoticon Today, I slept to 8:30 and then did not get dressed all day. I have two busy days...then I am tired. That seems to be the tempo as I build up. I ate well and have had my 8 glasses of water.

emoticon Thanks on your thoughts on my shoes. I am still breaking them in (I hope) as walking is not always easy still. I also bought a pair of Keene's which are also fitted and comfy.

emoticon This week I am going to the Y for my 1/2 mile swim (I hope 3 times), sit in the jacuzzi and soak! Then I will go to my Tai Chi, as well as to my exercise class my PT has for a few women. It is excellent as she knows my body, but I did feel it. I am so far behind all of the women, but it is good motivation for me. This is not a race, I know...just supportive environment.

I discovered something last time at PT...I am 1/2 " short on my left leg when I stand. However, when I sit, the discrepancy is coming from my hip. If I slip a small towel of pillow under my left butt, then I am lifted evenly while sitting. It is these little things, isn't it?

Well, I, too, hope to scan old family photos, Shari. My niece is after me. I have them up on my Facebook. I am glad you had the transfusion.

emoticon I need to read everyone's posts more carefully, but in the interim....big hugs to all. Have a beautiful week. Deanna, I am praying that all is well.

Love,

Elizabeth

Shari glad your feeling better!

The sun is out today! might be able to finish the pen I started about a month ago! Husband bought us a grill last night. I cant wait to start BBQing. He also got a gas weed eater...that means more work and exercise for me. I waiting for him to put it together correctly :) that might buy me a few days off work. Hope everyone is having a fabulous Sunday!

Thank you Julie; I slept pretty well last night, and I do feel much better today! I think I might even be able to skip my nap today.

I had to stop for awhile on my project of uploading some of my parent's old family photos to my computer, because of the fatigue I was having before the transfusion, but I might start working on them again today.

Shari, I hope you are starting to feel better.

Melissa, Happy Birthday to your grandma.

I had a nice day I woke up around 6:30 and decided to get laundry sorted and a load going then was going to go back to bed. While I was sorting my laundry basket and the bathroom basket my hubby came in with his. He got up, but still went back to bed for another hour.

Our quartet played for a wedding this afternoon. It was a really nice ceremony.

It was been warm and humid out today. I have a friend and daughter coming out to see the lambs tomorrow. I have also gotten fair amount of quilting. I finished three kids quilts.

Have a good Sunday!

Julie

Melissa, Happy Birthday to your Grandma!

Thank you all the prayers! My doctor's office called around 3:30pm yesterday; he ordered a transfusion for me, and I was able to get it right away, and without having to go through the ER. It was a long evening at the hospital, didn't get done til almost 11pm, but I'm so glad I had it done then and did not have to suffer through the weekend and hope for one on Monday instead.

Today was a great day! It was raining so didn't have to do to much work outside. My husband actually got a day off, so we stayed in, took it easy, and made it a movie day. This evening we went out to dinner with my Grandma she turned 95 today!

My day started with my workout at 5 am. Then on to work. It was a normal day at work, the data pile is getting smaller. I will get caught up in time to be gone for a few days.

The lambs are growing and Cora still hasn't had a baby. We're starting to think she isn't going to have a baby. I will get some pictures posted in a blog over the weekend.

Looking forward to a fairly quiet weekend.

Prayers for everyone!

Take care.

Julie

Deanna~ Uplifting you in prayer...

Sue~Lifting you up in prayer as well -I sure hope everything is straightened out soon and you get a suitable replacement for the dispatcher!

Shari~Praying for you as well....hope you have enough energy to make it thru the day..

Keeping all of you in prayer today...................even if I don't mention you specifically.

Straightening up around the house before Dan gets home and then I am going to relax in a nice long bath before tonight. The concert should be a lot of fun! I am almost hoping it rains Saturday-we won't get yard work done but then will have some time to relax a bit before Sunday!

Julie, prayers for your friend and her babies!
Deanna, prayers for your surgery and recovery!
Cheri, you have had a full day that's for sure! But how cute about your mother! I'm so happy to hear that so many of your family were there and had such a good time! Happy Birthday to your mom and your sister:)
I have been working a lot lately and things at work have changed so much this past month or two. Our dispatcher just up and quit one day, and we have been scrambling to get everything done. We have gone through 3 different dispatchers since, and they have the database so messed up, we are still try to recover from all the mistakes and have lost a couple of customers over it. I don't know what's going to happen, but it's not looking good.
I hope today is a better day:)

2015 is the year that I want to stop recovering and start living again!

I have been laying in bed, recovering from cancer, chemo and radiation and all it's side effects for 2 years.
I feel I have 'recovered' now and it's time to move on!
