I had free wifi yesterday as well, so I was able to do a good bit of work email, start filing for disability and a ton of Facebooking. You can only Facebook for so long though... My husband was able to hang out with me for part of the morning and a good chunk of the afternoon and could work remotely, so that was nice.

Now I'm up at 3:30am with some insomnia, which I gathered can happen after the steroids. At least I don't have to go to work today. :)

Cassie, that is great, that you are feeling okay:) My family all pitched in and bought me a kindle fire before my second treatment, when I told them how long and boring it was. I downloaded my favorite shows, could listen to the radio, and even read books while undergoing treatment. it sure made it nice! They have free wi-fi at the treatment center, but you have to ask before you go in for the access code and then it's good for a couple of weeks. They might have that where you are. If not you can download what you want ahead of time and watch it anywhere:)

Happy anniversary Julie! Glad you had a nice dinner out.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences. I had my first round of chemo today. It was a long day (9am - 4pm) but absolutely no problems. I felt good enough to get antsy and bored. ;)

I'm nervous about the coming side effects and know that there's nothing I can do to avoid them, but I have some good things ready to go to try and minimize the bad feelings. I've got Claritin to help with bone pain after Neulasta, Zofran, Tylenol, ginger and maxalt (which I can still take for my migraines, should I get one).

My parents are here to help out, my husband has been awesome and my daughter's getting into the swing of high school. My day yesterday was fun and hard and super affirming for me. I'm so lucky to have so much support there.

Have a good night, everyone. :)

32 years ago today I married my best friend. We went out for a nice dinner to celebrate.

I had a pretty good day at work but ate too much dinner so I am not going to get a work out in today. I packed my gym bag for the morning and am ready for a good work out in the morning.

Take care everyone!

Julie, that's the same thing I was on too! I lost my hair within a month also. But it sure worked good! Even with the side effects, it's nice to know you are on something that has been proven to work really good Cassie!
Shari, how are you feeling? Have you started the new chemo yet? I work all day so I don't always see all the updates in the morning when I don't have a lot of time to spark before getting ready for work:)
Ida, good to see you!
Kay, that is wonderful that you did all 3 days! I think you'll be able to get 600 minutes a week really soon! You seem to be able to put your mind to doing something and then you do it!

My brother is going on vacation next week or the week after, and he may be letting the new lady go before he leaves, she is not working out at all. I will be doing her job and my job, and some of my brothers job while he is gone, so I don't know how late I'll be working and I'll have to go in an hour earlier too. I hope I'm up for this!

Cassie, emoticon my chemo was taxol and carboplatin and I lost my hair within a month of my first treatment, but there is a small percent of people who do not lose their hair. May be you will be able to keep in contact with your students through email.

I had a pretty good day.

I just did a Walk Away the Pounds by video by Leslie Sansone. I enjoyed it and boy was I sweating by the time I finished. It was a 30 min work out of mainly walking in place.

Take care everyone.

Thank you all for the prayers!

Cassie, I had the Taxotere about 11 years ago; at the time I started it, I was already bald from the Andrymican and Cytoxan I was on, but my hair actually started growing back as "peach fuzz" while I was on the Taxotere.

I don't know how soon I will hear from my doctor about whether I am changing treatment or not, but I go in for lab work on the 9th; if I haven't heard by then, I will have to ask, because it will be close to time for refills for what I am on now, and I'll need to know if I am staying on it or not before I order them.

Cassie, I didn't take carboplatin, but I believe the "platin" forms of chemo also cause pretty rapid hair loss. Wishing you the best at school. I found telling people I had cancer was one of the harder aspects of having cancer in the beginning. Most people are absolutely wonderful, but occassionally people can be unintentionally hurtful. I think the first few weeks and months after diagnosis are such an emotional time. You are not alone in the ups and downs you are likely experiencing right now.

I'm feeling happy because I've been able to make it to exercise class three days in a row this week. I set my monthly exercise target at 600 minutes a month because that's the amount of exercise recommended for prevention of breast cancer recurrence. I'm happy that I was able to get that amount in this month. It was kind of touch and go in the beginning of the month with I was having so much fatigue. Some Sparkers get in 600 minutes in less than a week, but I'm just happy to have been able to do in it a month! I'm hoping next month will be even better and I'll be able to be more consistent throughout the month.

Shari, you are always an inspiration to me about getting in exercise even when you are feeling low. I honestly think gentle exercise is wonderful for fatigue. I always feel better after I do it when I'm having fatigue. The trick is to do some....but to not overdo it. Shari, I think you are quite good at finding that balance.

Oh, Cassie! I'm sorry, that is going to be so hard! You're students are really going to miss you while your gone, but think how happy the will be when you come back!
When I first started chemo, and it was CarboTaxol, a combination of what you may be taken, anyways, my boss left my name on the schedule for a year. He didn't schedule me any days or hours, but he left my name on there, and exactly one year later, I went back to work! It felt so good to go in and see my co workers from time to time, and I told him that seeing my name on the schedule gave me so much hope of coming back to work someday, and I did! I could still put my employee number in the time clock and my name came up. It was really inspiring to help me fight the disease so I could come back:)

Those drugs worked so well on me, I hope they work for you too!

Shari, I'm so sorry about your news! I hate the thought of you having to go through Chemo again! Prayers for both of you!

Kay, dancing sounds like so much fun! And I love that you didn't think about cancer while you were dancing! It's nice to find an outlet that takes us away from all that for awhile!

Shari, I'm sorry your news wasn't as good as you'd hoped for.

Right now the four likely chemo agents are carboplatin, taxotere, pertuzumab and herceptin. With a neulasta chaser for my white counts. ;)

I will find out more this afternoon.

I'm a high school teacher in a very small school where everyone knows everyone and we're all sort of one big extended family. Today is my first day - and last, for a little while. I'll be sharing the news today with my students and sending an email out to their parents. That is going to be hard. emoticon

Shari, I'm sorry to hear about the likelihood that you will be changing chemos. I also wrote to you on your blog.

Cassie, I had taxol first for 12 weeks and then AC. My hair thinned on Taxol but didn't lose it all until the AC started. What kind of chemo will you be having? If you are doing Taxol first, it's not too bad, particularly in the beginning.

Julie, I had a yellow watermelon for the first time last year. I agree it tastes like the red ones, but I had a hard time adjusting to the color!

We went to line dancing class today and I really enjoyed it. I think dancing is one time when I truly don't think about cancer. That's a wonderful thing!

Cassie, I hope things go well with you as you start your treatments.

I had a pretty good day. I got a fair amount of data reviewed to day. The humidity has really dropped so it was nice evening for a walk. We got a water melon in csa (community supported agriculture) box. When I cut it up tonight it was yellow. I had never had a yellow water melon, but it tasted just like the red water melon

Well I am settling in for the evening. I think I am going to go say high to sheep and then take it easy for the rest of the evening.

Take care.

Kay, glad you are feeling better!

Cassie, I also got a short haircut before I started my first chemo back in 2003; I couldn't bring myself to shave my head like some women do, but getting it cut short was a good compromise for me. And I know your donation to Locks of Love will be greatly appreciated.

I had my monthly oncologist appointment this morning, didn't get the best news regarding my lab work. My tumor markers are still steadily rising, which means the Aromasin and Afinitor I am on are not working. I asked if we could try increasing the dose of the Afinitor, since I am on the lowest dose of that drug, but the problem is that a higher dose will not be compatible with the drug I take for my gastroparesis. He's going to look into it further, but most likely, I will probably have to go back on the I.V. chemo.

Hi everyone. It's nice to have this place to check in. I hope you're all having good days today. :)

I had my CT scan this morning, which wasn't so bad. Easier than the breast MRI yesterday. I also went in and got a major haircut. I have (had!) long, thick hair that I am pretty much certain to lose, so I had it cut short enough to donate to Locks of Love. Now I have a cute chin-length bob. Felt good to be in charge of something!

My insurance company is turning out to be a huge pain on several fronts, but for now I'm trying to not let that stress me out. I also have to deal with disability at work - I'm a teacher and my doctors are not wanting me around all those kids/teens.

Tomorrow I go in for meetings to finalize my plans and hopefully will start chemo Thursday. What an odd thing to say! But yes, I want to get going!

Last two days low temps were 23-30. High between 55-70. As long as I cover the garden each night it is doing so so.
Had the car worked on this morning and got a lot of things done. Today is a quiet day with inside exercising .

Kay... glad that things are starting to look up for you
Hope everyone is doing well.

Kay, so happy you are on the mend! I know you have been concerned about the fatigue for a long time now. At least now you know why.You should be getting stronger and stronger now:)

Shari, how are you doing?
Ida, how does your garden grow? Is it still hanging in there? We are back to being so hot again this week. It was kind of nice yesterday, only 85 degrees or so:)
Julie, glad you are feeling better! Please don't overdo it with the exercise!
Cassie, how are you? Are you starting your chemo today? I can't remember for sure when you said you were starting it.
Hope everyone has a good day!

Cassie, I'm glad you found this thread. That's great that you will be starting chemo so quickly. Will you be getting a port? It makes chemo and blood draws so much easier. I had chemo first too for triple negative bc (stage 2b). It's good that you are in good health going into chemo. It will help you a lot. Try to keep walking throughout chemo....it will help a lot with the fatigue. Wishing you the best!

Speaking of fatigue, I just got diagnosed with having both walking pneumonia and Epstein Barr virus yesterday. No wonder I've been so fatigued this summer! I've actually been feeling better this past week and have been able to get back to exercise classes so it looks like I've been able to clear the viruses causing this on my own. Normally, with a healthy immune system, people are able to clear these viruses. My doc and I both think this was brought on by a weakened immune system from bc treatments. I'm doing all kinds of things to try to help boost my immune system. My recovery from treatment has been a lot slower than I thought it would be, but I feel like I'm making progress again after having a six-week set back. I'm just really happy to feel like I'm on the mend again.

Wishing everyone a good day!

Cassie, welcome to the team, Shari is right once all the tests are done and you have a treatment plan things feel a little more under control.

Sue, I am doing fine. I have had this same issue with my back before. My trainer can feel a knot in the muscle where the pain is. I was feeling better but after quartet practice it is sore again.

I have had a long day and I'm tired so its off to bed.

Cassie, I agree with Shari (mom2acat) once you have a planned course of action, it does make a difference. At least you know you are doing something about it and not just waiting.

Julie, how are you feeling? I hope you are okay! I know you said you were having pains between your shoulder blades and I hope you're feeling better!

Good morning everyone,

I posted a brief introduction on another thread, and Sue suggested I come join you all here. I was just diagnosed last week with breast cancer so am still having more tests done and figuring out the best course of action. So far I've had a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound, and a PET/CT scan. Today is an echocardiogram, a breast MRI and chemo counseling. Tomorrow is a CT scan. By Wednesday afternoon the tumor board will have discussed my case again and I meet with the surgeon and oncologist. Most likely scenario is starting chemo Thursday, with surgery to come later.

Thanks for letting me join you all.

Julie, maybe you should call the doctor? A pain between your shoulder blades could be something more than just a back pain. I don't want to scare you, but it could be a sign of a heart condition. Women often have pains other than in the area of their heart like their back, stomach, and may even have vomiting. Have you been sick to your stomach at all? I'm not sure, but I read that somewhere one time.

My mom is doing pretty good. I talked to her yesterday and she seemed to be doing well. She was deciding to go to church or not. The church sends a van to pick her up then brings her home. I told her to go if she felt up to it

I haven't done much today either. I have been having a lazy weekend. I did get laundry done today and worked on some hand quilting.

I have been having a sore upper back between my shoulder blades for a few weeks, it has been waking me up at night and it is area that I am unable stretch out. My trainer worked on my back after my work out on Monday and it felt better after but it has been bothering me all week again. Today it has been felling better.

Have a great week!

Julie

Had a very uplifting service at church today. What a blessing. So far the garden is doing OK with me covering it at night. All I can do is keep praying and doing what I can with it. Temp got to 26 last night and high so far today is 57. I feel pretty good today. DH & I worked outdoors yesterday today is some what of a rest day.

I admit, I had some trouble getting motivated to do my workout today; not sure why, but it's harder for me to get motivated on weekends for some reason, even though I am not working and they aren't really different than any other day. I finally did get it done though. Not sure why I am so tired again today but now I am feeling like I am getting a little bit of a second wind.

Julie, sorry to read about your Mom, hope she is better now!
Ida, hope your garden makes it through those cold nights! I wish our temps were like yours!
Shari, it amazes me how you always get your exercise in! I wish I would get motivated:)

I called and got the results yesterday and there are no new abnormalities! Woohoo!

I have virtually done nothing today. I watched a movie and sewed a binding down on a quilt. It is too humid to do much outside.

I am going to sit work on another quilt tonight.

Take care.

Julie, sorry to hear about your mom, hope she is doing ok now.

Today is one of those days I am just "muddling through", though I did manage to get a workout in and got the laundry done. Had a hard time sleeping last night and I've been fighting the urge to take a nap. If I take a nap, that makes it harder to sleep at night. I just plan on an early bed time tonight.

Oh what a week, I am so glad it is the weekend.

My mom ended up in emergency yesterday, it ended up being a bad reaction to the pain meds she was given as result of her fall earlier in the week.

I got my car back tonight and I got a new cell phone. Now I have to learn how to use it.

No major plans for the weekend, but we need to call and make arrangements for picking up the beef we bought from my friends granddaughter.

Have a safe weekend, it is supposed to be really hot and humid.

I am thankful I covered my garden last night. It got down to 26 degrees. I will be covering it again tonight as they say low will be 36 degrees. It is hard to grow anything up here as the temp keeps changing at night. The green beans are just starting to come on and the corn is starting to get it's silks. Pumpkins are starting to flower and the squash is also flowering.
I will just keep praying to get something out of the outdoor garden. My green beans indoors are doing great.

Sue, I am so sorry you didn't get any results, it has to be so frustrating.

I had a pretty good day. I am off to quilt guild meeting tonight, my friend Val is picking me up since my car as been in for repairs since Tuesday. I hope to have it back tomorrow.

Take care everyone.

Sue, I'm sorry you have to do still more waiting; whenever I've had scans, the waiting for the results has been the hardest part. emoticon I hope you haven't had any more incidences of coughing up the blood.

LOL, Julie! Well, at least you walked them off before you ate them:)

Shari, I'm so happy to hear you are doing so much better!

I didn't get the results. The doctor said they had not even been interpreted yet by the technician. I was afraid of that but they kept telling me that he would have the results in time. I was there almost 2 hours too, they were so behind. I did get my port flushed so it least it wasn't all for nothing!

Sue, I hope you get good news with your scan results.

I had a pretty good day.

I came home gave Tigger his meds we picked up yesterday, nothing serious just a wormer.
It was easier then I thought it would be, Tigger is still some what of an unknown since he has only been with us for a month.

I just got back from a walk. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do 2 or 3 miles. It was a bit warm and humid so I only did 2 miles. I got back and my hubby is backing cookies, just what I need. emoticon

Have a great evening.

Julie

Julie, I hope your mom's soreness from the fall eases up soon.

Sue, sending up a prayer that you get good news tomorrow! Especially with coughing up the blood, that would scare me too. If it was just a little bit, hopefully it was just from coughing too hard.

I did my grocery shopping today, and I noticed that after bringing my groceries in, (and walking up the 4 steps on my porch) and getting them put away, I did not feel short of breath like I did the past 2-3 weeks, so the transfusion is still helping me! I did a half hour workout this morning before I got ready to go out, so it feels good to have had a productive day and not feel so worn out for a change.

Thank you everyone! I'm really glad to and the best part is I only have to wait until tomorrow morning for the results! See, there really is a silver lining to everything:)

I woke up from a nap after the scan and coughed up a small amount of blood. It was very little, but of course, it scared me. I don't know if it was from coughing too hard or something worse, so at least I will find out what's going on tomorrow and if it is serious or not.

Kay, I'm so happy to hear your energy is coming back and Shari, that you are feeling better too every since your transfusion. That is great news!

How is everyone else doing? I didn't really scroll down this time and read all the posts, so I guess I should have done that before I asked...I'll do that now:)

Sue, I'm glad you got your scan done before your doctor's appointment tomorrow. Wishing you good news on your results.

Ida, I hope things go well with your garden. You have had a tough year with it.

I had a great day today. My energy levels seems to be coming back up. I have no idea what was wrong, but I'm just glad that it seems to be over. I got a lot of cleaning done and went to a one hour line dancing class.

Sue, I am glad you finally are getting your scan!!!

I had a good day. They got my computer set up for dual monitors today, so I am set up and ready to go.

I had a phone call from my brother , and my mom fell on the stairs Sunday night. She is OK but sore and bruised.

Have a good evening!

I called the doctor again yesterday and they called radiology while I was still on the phone. They got me an appointment for today at 4pm. I hope the results will be in the hands of the doctor tomorrow when I go to my appointment.
It is so unbelievable to me that it took numerous calls and the very last day before my appointment, to get the test done! But....at least it's getting done now!

Sun is out again today. Not sure what I am doing today. I restarted my outdoor garden again. It is doing some what well. Not sure if I still have time to produce anything as the nights are down in the low 40's. I at least tried again.

Shari, I'm so glad you are feeling better! That's great news:)
Ida, good job on that walk!

I had dinner at my DD's last night and it was so good! Fried chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob....delicious!
My mouth is better this morning, and I should get ready for work now. I'm going to call radiology and the doctor today and see if I can get the scan done today, I don't know how that's going to work out but I'm going to try:)

It sounds like everyone is having good day.! Me Too.

I got a walk in, helped worm the lambs, helped move netted fence so the sheep have some fresh pasture. All by 9:30.

I got a quick shower then started laundry and I just finished quilting my sheep quilt. I will get a picture of the quilt posted.

Well it will be back to work tomorrow.

Take care!

Sue, that bump/bite on you lip sounds uncomfortable. Spider bites can be bad.

Ida, way to go on the walk.

This morning we have been busy putting out kitchen back in order now that the floors have cured enough to put the furniture back in. I feel like the chaos of the last couple weeks of floor installation and refinishing is coming to and end and life is getting back to some semblance of normal. So nice!

Kay, congrats on the new floors and the new furniture! I'm glad you're not as tired too!
Shari, happy the transfusion went well and you will have more energy! Too bad about the sinus headache though. You do deserve to have a good day!
Julie, the county fair sounds like fun, the computer thing-a nightmare! I hate computers that don't work right!
Ida, hello, hope all is well:)
Monday is the 18th and my doctor's appt. is the 20th. Not much chance of having the scan done and the results to the doctor now before my appointment. I'm pretty upset about that!
Last night I felt like I was getting another cold sore on my lip again.I have never had so many things happen to my lip before like I've had this past 6 months. This morning it looks like a spider bite again. They sprayed my apartment for spiders after the last bite, but I have these huge trees that hang over my patio, and they are full of spiders. I forget what they are called but you can see the webs all in them. I think I need to move:) My mouth really hurts. I'm not sure it is a bite, but it sure doesn''t look like a cold sore today.

Julie, that fair sounded fun and right up your alley!

Shari, I'm glad you are starting to feel better...just wish you didn't have to deal with a headache today. You deserve a truly good day somewhere along the way sometime soon.

They are done with our hardwood floors now and we decided to go furniture shopping in a larger town about an hour's drive away. It ended up taking all day. We did get new furniture which I think will look great when it comes in. I'm tired tonight, but I think I'm okay. I'm amazed that I was able to do that much. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I didn't overdo it.

I'm very grateful that we were able to get the furniture and redo the floors. I'm also grateful to be thinking longer range now. This time last year, I was so convinced I was going to die that I didn't even want to buy anything more than a few days worth of groceries at a time. I still don't know what the future holds, but at least now I'm willing to think more longer term and take my chances that I'll be needing that furniture!

Kay, It sounds like you had a good day are are starting to feel better.

Shari, I hope you are feeling better also.

We had a fun day. We went to the Dodge County fair and wandered the barns looking at the animals. We came home a rested for a while then headed in to Madison for some shopping.

Our weather is changing we have been having nice comfortable weather, but is warming up and getting humid.

Take care.

Kay, I'm glad you had a better day! I know it's a good feeling to know you've accomplished something without getting so tired.

I'm not as tired today, but I've been fighting a sinus headache today. It's partly from my allergies (ragweed season here) and all these crazy changes of weather we have been having lately.

Julie, I don't think I've ever had a computer change-out go smoothly, either at home or at work (back when I was working). The only time I've ever really been up and running on new hardware from the get-go was with my Chromebook that I use at home for personal use, but that's limited in terms of software. There are a few things I would love to be able to use with it, but it's startup speed is worth it for my simple daily stuff. Hubby uses a Windows based laptop at home so for those times when I can't do something on my Chromebook, I'll use his laptop. I know it's a lot different for you at work because you have specialized programs that you need to use for work.

Shari, I'm glad you got your transfusion done and I'm hoping you will be feeling more peppy over the weekend. Won't that be nice!

Today, the fatigue wasn't as bad as it has been. I was able to get some light weeding done, a little cooking and go shopping at Lowes and at a furniture store. I get so excited on the days when I feel less fatigued! I've been tracking my food for a week now to see if there are any foods that are giving me problems in addition to the gluten. I've just about come to the conclusion that dairy is also an issue, so I'm going to eliminate that for a while and see if it helps. I'm determined to get to the bottom of this!

I had a pretty good. I got some non computer stuff done at work while I waited for my new computer. My new computer didn't go real smoothly. I am missing some software for printing bar code labels and I didn't get the set up for dual monitors. They have to order the parts because they didn't have enough. It is going to really slow me down and waste a lot of paper because I have to print things I normal wouldn't have to. I don't know how long it will before they can get me set up correctly. They tried to install the bar code stuff but i it wasted about an hour of my time and I still can't print bar code labels.. I left early rather then put in over time because I was so frustrated.

It is the week and I am going to leave work behind. We don't have much planned but I need to finish quilting my sheep quilt.

Take care!

Julie

It was a long day at the hospital, but everything went well. I was tired out when I got home around 3:15pm, but now that I've had a chance to relax and unwind I am feeling better. Usually after a transfusion, I am feeling better by the next day.

Sue , that has to be so aggravating. I really appreciate my health care provider. They tend to be on top of everything.

Shari, I hope you will feel better after your transfusion.

Kay, I hope you are feeling better.

I had a pretty good day today. Tomorrow at work should be interesting I get my new computer with office 2010 on it. They are changing the entire company eventually my hubby is supposed to be upgraded in October. It has smoothly for some people and not for others.
We will see what happens.

I am off for a walk.

Sue, I don't blame you for wanting a new doctor; you shouldn't have to be doing all that work to get a scan, the office should be taking care of that for you.

Kay, hope you feel better soon; maybe you haven't been on the gluten free diet quite long enough yet for it to really be effective.

I got some good news today; my chemo nurse called and she arranged for me to get a blood transfusion tomorrow, so by Saturday, I should be feeling better, just in time for laundry day, lol.

Sue, that is totally aggravating....you have every right to rant away.

Well, yesterday was a good one, but today I'm back to horrible fatigue again. So discouraging.... I'm keeping track of my food to see if I can figure out if anything is adding to the problem, but I have a feeling it's more than just a food issue. I figure every little bit helps though in trying to solve this mystery.

Well I called them again today to see why they haven't called me for the CT Scan and they said they never got the authorization....what? So I called the doctor's office and they said to call radiologist because I don't need an authorization....I said NO! YOU call radiology because they told me to call you, and you tell me to call them, and it's still not getting done and my appointment with the doctor for the results is next week! I was so upset that they still have not gotten anything accomplished for the test and it's been 2 months now! This is not the first time it has happened either! I think I need a new doctor...

Kay, I'm glad you're feeling better, so for the rant you guys!

Julie, sounds like you are very busy, as usual:)

Kay, I am so glad you are feeling better and hope you continue to improve.

Shari, Feel better.

It amazes me how fast things can turn around. Yesterday I was caught up today I am not. I have a study with a bunch different tabling requirements and it took me most of the morning to get the tables set up, so not much data got reviewed.

I took Tigger into the vet tonight. He was due for his shots. He is in good shape except for his teeth. Dr Steve was laughing at Tigger because he sticks his tongue out.

Have a good evening!

Julie

I'm glad you are feeling better Kay!

After a day of gloom and rain yesterday, it's sunny and warmer today; that alone made me feel better!

Sue, that is so frustrating that it looks like they have dropped the ball on your CT scan. Grrr! The things you and Shari have had to go through to see different specialists and get test run makes me really grateful for Vanderbilt's efficiency. Only once have I had to call scheduling because I didn't hear from them first.

For some reason, I'm feeling better today than in the past few days. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I've been off gluten for a week now. They say it takes 6-8 months to for the intestine to heal, but maybe I was going through a period of bacterial die off in my intestines from going off all wheat etc. Who knows? I'm just happy to be feeling a little better than the severe fatigue I was experiencing. I'm nowhere close to where I was a month and a half ago before all this started, but I'm delighted to be feeling like I'm pointing in the right direction today in terms of energy levels.

We are getting new hardwood flooring put down and the old hardwood refinished. Yesterday was the first day that they actually started putting down the new finish. The fumes were awful! I spent all yesterday out on the back porch and slept on the porch last night in my camping tent on a comfy cot. I think we just have a few more days of fumes. I'm grateful the weather is cooperating and it is comfortable to be outside. I'm in the shade and up close enough to the house so I can get wifi on my laptop. I've been reading a surfing the net. Not a bad way to spend the day!

Ali,my DG started 8th grade yesterday too! and her mom just had another baby after 13 years. They live in AZ so I wonder how she is doing having to share in the spotlight now:)

Still have not had the call for the appointment for the CT Scan. My doctors appointment is for the 20th but no point even going if I don't have the test first! I can't believe they have really dropped the ball on another test again! This is not the first time the doctor sent me to a specialist or ordered a test, and they never put the order in!
I really need to find another doctor I think:)

Kay, I hope the tests give you some answers!
Ida, glad you're back from Boise. Hope your DH gets some rest.
Shari, at least you know there is a real reason for the fatigue! You're not just wondering anymore. That makes a difference for me anyhow:)

Shari, I hope you are feeling better.

I had a pretty good day. I just got back from a walk. It is a nice cool evening so I walked 3 miles.

Not too much going on here still having a few cat fights but I think it is getting better.

Have a nice evening!
