YOu're really busy Mom2acat. I have been too but on a different nature. I have an uncle from Alaska that is visiting us for about 4 days. They went to a parade yesterday but I couldn't go because I was too tired. I probably slept around 11 hours. I was doing laundry and people were asking me what I was doind sleeping in the hall or did I have laundry. I just threw it in my basket and went back to bed.

Hope you are feeling much better now Sharon!
We had a nice weekend here with temps almost up to 80, of course I had to work. But I am on my two days off again today, much cooler today, but still sunny; got out for a half hour walk.
Had the 6 month appointment with my internist today, all is fine with that. Went to Rite Aid after that to get some of the "free after rebate" stuff then to visit a friend in the hospital who had knee replacement surgery yesterday.

We have rain and wind today, there is definitely a chill in the air too.

Have a wonderful day everyone. We are having mist here this morning. Its suppossed to get up into 79 or thereabouts today. Yesterday it did but it was rather cool because of the clouds all over and a little mist. We expect it to go down this week but not much. If you can't exercise because it hurts just try doing things a little slower. Try not to go as fast as you have. At least you'll be moving. Walk down the hall and back several times. I know thats hard to do and boring but every little bit counts.

Sharon I'm glad you're Ok and that you have such good neighbors to depend on. Today I've had my daughter and her god children over and we had a big spagetti dinner with salad and corn. We also had garlic bread. I don't normally eat that kind of dinner for lunch but I had to exercise and try to clean up afterwards so I've been very busy this weekend. I'm glad you decided to come to the forum and try it out. Any subject is good and after you lay down for a day or two maybe you'll be back to normal. Hopefully I'm glad Carolyn could get to you too. Thank you Carolyn.

I'm sorry Sharon that you've been ill but glad that they didn't find anything serious. Take it easy!

Last night I spent four hours in the ER after a trip to Urgent Care first. They sent me to the hospital with what appeared to be another attack of diverticulitis. After some good drugs for the pain, and trying my best to drink some contrast, they sent me down for a CT. Results were negative as well as labs were all good so they aren't really sure what was causing my distress..intestinal virus, maybe, they said. I'm feeling a tad better this morning but still under the weather so will have a day on the couch and lay low until this whatever subsides. I still have the lower quadrant pain but not as severe. DH was working but i have some wonderful neighbors who stayed with me the whole time and brought me home at midnite from the ER. I feel blessed to have them in my life. For now, I'm going to lay down and rest for a while. Have a great day.

Some people may not like coffee but generally when you think of people getting around the table and talking they call it coffee talk. Recently I went to a town where they have Apple Butter Days every year. The group I went with gave us each $5.00 to spend on lunch. I spent more because I went to the restaurant to eat. They had lots of crafts there. Some unusual and some that are there every year. Honeycombs, lye soap, homemade wooden crafts, in this part of the country we are known for our homemade crafts. It wasn't too far from Branson. Then when I got home I forgot I had my volunteer night at ARM. That stands for American Rehabilitation Ministry. We sort cards and envelopes for the prisoners in jail and lead them to Christ. I did my exercise this morning and afternoon. 2 hous of it. I had to go slow because of my knee. Has anyone else had anything they'd like to talk about that happened this week. General subjects are OK. Hope2be co leader of Surviving Cancer.
