It's great that you use your bike for so many errands! We live in a very walkable/bikable area, too, and make do with just one car. It helps that we both work from home.

I haven't been riding much, but I have been getting out to walk the pooch.

I just turned 60 last month and ride my bike all the time. I have a recumbent trike. My husband and I share one car so I use my bike to run most of my errands: shopping, movies, going to church, library, post office .etc.

I have an autoimmune disease and find that cycling is the best way to decrease the chronic pain I have every day. I can really feel the difference when I miss riding two days in row. OUCH!

I am just so jammed up with work that getting away even for an hour is beyond me. Yay for the pay, but wow, this is tough!

I am being so lazy. I want to go out and ride but . . .
it's too cold
It's not sunny
My riding clothes are in the wash

You know how it goes!
I guess I will try tomorrow. It's supposed to be cool outside, but it will be sunny.

Yesterday I rode for a short time with my dog. That was kind of a crazy experience--I wrote about it in my blog, so I won't repeat myself here. But it was fun! I'm hoping to do more of it; it's a great way to get all her youthful energy out.

I like that quote.

I've been incredibly busy with work things of late. So much so that I've barely had time for Spark at all, and haven't been on my bike. It's good that I'm getting the work (I'm self-employed and it's contract work with quick turnaround deadlines), but I need to rebalance my schedule so I can get out on the bike.

I stole this from somewhere else, but it pretty much sums why I find riding my bike so gratifying
