Hi everyone. How quickly things can change. I was at the dr with dh today. My husband has been complaining of a pain on his right side and back. The pain is on the inside (not muscular). He thinks his cancer is starting to spread from his lymph nodes. He believes that the cancerous lymph node is pushing the lung into the rib cage and causing friction therefore pain. I have to bring dh back to dr. in six weeks to check my dh's condition. He is on some pain medication but it does not seem to have much success. The doctor is not comfortable yet to increase to something stronger as with all his other meds and general health it would increase his confusion and dementia.

I hope everyone is well.

Dianne

HOPE is not pretending that there's never any sorrow - It's the knowledge that our troubles will be overcome tomorrow. It's the inner strength we call on to sustain us now and then, till our problems lie behind us and we are happy again

Go glad that thinks are OK for now. It is the same with my DH. The original tumor is still the size of an egg. They did find another "spot" above the original one, but it is very small.

Take care of you and your family

Hi Dianne. Things are well here also. Tommy is scheduled for another scan sometime in March, but his last one showed the tumors in his lungs have not gotten any larger, so for now the chemo seems to be stopping the progression. His only problem is with a small amount of neuropathy in this fingertips and toes caused by the chemo. Otherwise, he feels good and we're looking forward to the big game today.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
