Cindy, A glass of wine or 2 never hurts, I wish you a better day today!
Debbie, how did you sleep last night? did you take a nice warm bath? Sounds very relaxing. WTG on bringing your weight back down. You are definitely focused and going to see more success.
Ashley, sounds like you and Ayden had a fun filled day yesterday. Sounds like the weather is holding up for you guys.
Victoria, Didn't sound like you ate a lot yesterday, but definitely sounded healthy. You know I've never tried egg beaters, but have only heard good things about it. I always like egg whites with veggies. Do you have work today?
I'm happy to report that my knee is still feeling good this morning. I got a call last night saying that my daughter was going to be surprised with an award at her school assembly today. She's going to be first be surprised to see us and then even more when she gets called up. I'm sooo happy for my baby girl!

Debbie.
Work flew by if you were that busy. Good deal.
The glass of wine and the company helped tremendously. Now onto the evening routine and possibly another glass.

Cindy ~hope things get better for ya! Ashely~ I was doing some research and read that a bath and massage might help. I have had them three nights now and getting pretty tired of it! I also found an over the counter med for it I might try if it doesn't get better soon. Victoria~ I had such a difficult time that I will think twice before getting on the stuff again! LOL
I am back down to my lowest weight before I had company and the grad party! WOW it takes a while to get back after getting off track if only for a couple weeks! I would like to see below 153 this week if possible! I am so close!

Yes he loves his sand box! We played outside for a few minutes and it got too hot so we came in. He picked the neighbors flowers for me. LOL. They don't live there anymore anyway. Then we shared and ice cream bar. It was really good! Then I found a nap on the couch during "Henry Hugglemonster" LOL. I got up and finished putting supper together, chicken enchiladas. And then did 100 more calories on the elliptical.
Debbie- I saw that yoplait has frozen greek yogurt now. I don't know what the calories or sugar looks like, but maybe its a healthier option. And as for your legs, try a warm bath before bed. And massage while in the tub. Use more pressure from ankle to thigh and less pressure from thigh to ankles. That way your pushing the blood back to your heart and away from your legs. I hope you figure something out and get some decent sleep.
Cindy- Sorry you had a rough morning:( I hope your evening gets better too.
Dee- YAY your knee doesn't hurt!!! I feel old sometimes too. LOL Especially in the mornings.
Victoria- I hope you had a good day!!

Has anyone experienced this? Driving me crazy and only happens when I lay down to sleep. Hope everyone else is having an awesome day!

WTG Ashley on your workout and getting your body moving. it's not east to get going when you're tired. So glad Ayden is still getting good use out of his sandbox.
I will never try to understand my body. Just sometimes I feel old and this morning that's how I felt. Now I am chilling out waiting on my babies to get home. Thinking out some bunless burgers and mixed veggies for dinner.

Dee- Yea, she seemed very understanding. Way to go on your workout! I just finished 20 minutes. And a 5 minute leg workout. Its a free app that I downloaded to my phone. I have one for legs for butt, and for abs. I haven't got the one for arms yet. Yes, Ayden still plays in his sand box. He actually asked me to go play in it as I was reading your last post. LOL Maybe your knee was just stiff and the elliptical warmed it up and got its inside fluids flowing again. LOL that's technical term for you:) Im glad it feels better and I hope it doesn't start to hurt again.
I hear the ice cream truck!!! Ayden would love that!

Ashley, kids will be kids and the girls Mom knew that Ayden didn't mean to hurt her daughter. Sounds like you had a fun morning. Were you able to get a little nap in? What's on your menu for dinner?
I have just finished 60 minutes on the elliptical. What's interesting, when I woke up my left knee was hurting me. After I got off the elliptical it doesn't hurt any more. I think it will start back hurting once I shower and cool down, but what does that mean?

Good Afternoon Ladies!
We did go to the park this morning. Ayden had a lot of fun! We were there for about an hour and someone else with 2 kids showed up. Ayden played with them for about another 30 minutes. They were all so cute out there. I felt really bad though, Ayden took his bike and the girl got on it and Ayden started to push her backwards and she fell and got hurt. Scraped her elbow and made her bleed. :( Ayden did say he was sorry....a lot. That was when they first got there. And they played after that. Mom seemed to take it ok. Anyway, we just finished lunch. I had left overs and he had a happy meal:) I need to get on the elliptical but I am so tired:( I'd rather nap than workout. Maybe if I change then I will feel better in a few minutes. HMMMM
I hope you all have a good day! Keep up the great work!!!!

Cindy, my phone has actually been on vibrate all morning. It felt great to just be able to relax and enjoy my day. What are your plans today?
Ashley, the park sounds like fun!! I definitely know that Ayden will love getting out. Is he still playing in his sandbox?
Victoria, my plan today is to try and get the house back in order. I have a load of laundry in right now. I've changed to get in my workout and about to jump on something to burn some calories. What do you have for breakfast? How was work?
Debbie, on kicking your bad habit. Do you know we have a thread called "Drop a bad habit in 21 days" it helps to keep track of your progress and keeps you in control I don't think that the no caffein has anything to do with your lack of sleep. Do you have a lot on your mind?
I'm off to get in my workout!!

Just checking in before I settle in for the night. We had the stuffed peppers for supper. THey were really good. Tommy made a fajita wrap out of his. He didn't like the peppers very much. He's now showering and ayden is watching Wreck it Ralph. He loves that movie. He watched it last night before bed too. Im trying to enjoy the quiet. LOL
Victoria- I might change my stats and see what it is after that. I also am trying to drink a lot of water everyday. A whole gallon is a lot! Good luck!!!
Debbie- I hope you enjoyed your walk! We had rain here today, so everything is too wet.
I was searching hiking trails this morning. I wouldn't mind finding some for me and Ayden to go and explore. He watched a squirrel on our front porch for almost 15 minutes. Well, Im off here to pee for the umpteenth time. I can't believe I spelt that right...or that it was in the dictionary. umpteenth. HA Have a good evening!

Hey all! just checking in and catching up! seems like you've all been busy! after work I took a nap and went to the gym. I just got back, had dinner and am now ready to relax! I'm trynig to get 1 gallon of water (16 8oz glasses) a day for the week! eek!
Ashley -- hahha Ayden seems so funny! I'm glad Tommy is living his dream! way to get in that workout! you're doing great with consistency! coffee usually has 0 calories without sugar/creamer! Way to go with tracking --it can certainly be a pain! If you think your range is too high, you could reset your current weight and weight loss goal and they'll update your range, etc.
De -- that's amazing -- way to go!! what's your final goal weight again?? 150s are so close ! you can do it!! I worked 9am to 5pm. It started slow but picked up around 11am, which made the remaining time fly by :) good job with your workout! wahoo!
Debbie -- This team is great with keeping us all motivated/healthy, isn't it?! sounds like you also deserve a shoutout for a great workout!
Cindy -- your lunch sounds delicious!! WAHOO with your grade and final GPA! That's amazing!!

I thought it was pretty high too. And they have me burning 236 calories a day. At least that's what it was before they changed the weight tracker. I made healthy granola bars today. I got the recipe from SP. They are really good!!!! Chewy and sweet and about 130 calories. The recipe made 24 and i got 20 out of mine. I think I might also make them again only next time crumble them and put them in the warm oven to "dry out" and get crunchy. Make granola out of them. Im just waiting for Tommy to get home. He gets out of school at 5 or shortly before. If he ahas PT then he leaves down there at 6. We are having chicken fajita stuffed peppers. Another recipe from SP. I hula hooped for 10 minutes while the granola bars cooked. I think I'm going to do 100 calories on the elliptical. That will only take me 10 minutes so. I have had about 2 bottles of water today. I need to work on getting my 3rd one down. I hope you all have a good day! Im trying to stay away from the granola bars already, they are so good!

Ashley be sure to keep track of protein, fiber and fat as well. They all make a difference.
Had lunch at BD's Mongolian BBQ - veggie bowl and brown rice. Yum! Working on dinner right now before I leave.
I did get an A in my class giving me a 3.7857 GPA for my Masters. Pretty dang happy with that.

My SP range is 1500 to 1800. So on the low end of my range I have 659 calories left for supper. Im planning on getting another workout in before Tommy gets home. I just got on here to see what I want for supper. Going to check the recipes

I have just finished another 60 minutes on the elliptical and now I'm about to have some oatmeal and get a shake together. I need to go shopping again to get some more fruits and veggies in the house.

Dee- Tommy graduates august 28th. I can't wait for him to get a job and we start getting good income again. I hope your new hires(whoever they are) want to work too. Its sad how lazy America is these days. everyone wants a free ride. And those of us who don't(me and my husband) can't find jobs.
I just finished my 20 minutes and 227 calories. Its actually not that hot in the house today so im not sweating as bad. :) I had 393 calories for breakfast. Not including my coffee. I don't have a nutrition label for it. Im not quite ready for lunch. Im thinking deli meat snadwich with lettuce pickle and cheese. And maybe a protein shake. Chocolate with milk or cold coffee? Or vanilla with pineapple juice and orange jello mix? HMMMM Maybe i'll calculate calories for each and choose from there. Keep up the good work ya'll!!!!

Victoria, the good thing with my detox is that I made it into the 160's. Now I am onto the next 10 pounds to get into the 150's, wish me luck. What were your hours today? Hope your shift went by quickly and was productive?
Cindy, my manager had to leave early today and rescheduled all the interviews for tomorrow. So, it's still the waiting game to see who he likes. How is your day going?
Ashley, I am hoping the new hires will actually want to work and be more reliable. Some people these days just don't value what they have and end up firing themselves. How much longer does Tommy have in the academy? It's great that you are letting him follow his dreams.
I am back up again after my morning wake up call from work. Now I'm actually dressed to get in another workout for today before getting ready for work.

Good morning!
Dee- Im sorry about your long shifts. It sounds like some of them are taking advantage of your willingness to take their shifts. I hope you get that other person hired too! Will that give you more time off?
Victoria- I hope you have a good day at work!
So, we just got up about 30 minutes ago. Im having my coffee and Ayden is eating cheese nips and kool aid playing with his tractors. He is into Tinker Bell and the fairies. And since we can record shows he has 5 different episodes recorded. But the only one he watches is "Secret of the Wings". And I mean the ONLY one he watches. More than twice a day for the last week. LOL Tommy is really enjoying his time at school and the other fun stuff he gets to do. He has wanted to be a cop since he was like 6. And so I finally stopped telling him no and am letting him follow his dreams. I just hope he gets a job close to home so we don't have to think about moving. Well, I better get off here and get my day started.

De, being a manager stinks sometimes, but you have to do what is best for everyone else. Good luck on getting the new person hired.

Michelle, such fun times you had with your family the other day.
Ashley, sounds like Tommy is already enjoying his new career choice. How did the rest of his night go? I 3rd that you have to track every single bite? f I don't track, I do not lose because I end up eating more than I should without even realizing it.
Cindy, I have already written down the recipe for your Zucchini Corn Cakes. They sound soooooo good and I can't wait to try it. So glad your day at the Zoo went well and everyone had a good time.
Victoria, WTG on getting in your workout. Sounds like you really had a wonderful time with your Daddy yesterday. My daughter tried Sushi for the first time yesterday and liked it.
Now this morning, I receive a call at 5:30am to let me know that someone didn't show up for their shift. I went into work to cover, but thankfully another manager jumped in to help out. So, now I'm back home waiting on the kids to wake up in about 30 minutes.
On a better note, after I woke up at around midnight this morning. I got in a 60 minute workout on my elliptical and it felt good to get it in. Yesterday, hubby had a full day because we started with breakfast after I got off from work. Then the kids took him to see a movie and we ended the day with dinner at a new chinese restaurant he wanted to try out. Hubby had a great time with the kids and that's what Father's Day is all about.

Last night I went to work for 5pm and didn't get out until this morning at 7am. I've given my night auditors chance after chance after chance after chance, but enough is enough. My thing is that I know they have families and issues, but I have a job to run. I can't keep working their shifts plus mine because it's killing me. On a better note, I actually opened up a night audit position and have 2 poeple in mind already. I have them meeting with my manager between Monday and Tuesday. Hopefully, I will get one of them hired to get started and trained.

Ashley are you tracking your food intake? If not, you need to. You may not be getting enough calories rather than too many. This could also stall your weight loss.

Cindy- Im glad you had fun with both families!
Victoria- Way to go doing cardio!! Im glad you enjoyed being with your Dad!
We went to his parents today for a few hours and then came home and had supper. Island Chicken with mango kiwi salsa, brown rice and a sweet potato. We split the potato. It was really good! I didn't get a work out in. But I usually don't on the weekends. Too much time to spend with Tommy. I'll start fresh and harder tomorrow. Maybe I'll start my 2 cardio sessions. Up my workout since i feel my nutrition is on point.
Have a good evening:)

Just got home from the zoo. We spent 5 hours there and we were all hungry so we had an early dinner. Now time to relax.
The weather was hot and humid, however, no rain and no sun until the very end. So it was pleasant.
The best part was that we had both families together for the day, which was awesome.

Cindy -- thanks for posting the recipes!! can't wait to try them out :) did the weather cooperate for the zoo?
Ashley -- so glad you had fun the other day!! sounds like Tommy is really enjoying his new line of work! wahoo! don't worry about maintaining --you're setting yourself up for a big loss in the upcoming weeks if you keep it up! I read that when you start getting back into exercise your body holds onto some water which makes the scale creep up. Focus on your clothes, etc!
Michelle -- sounds like a great day!
I spent all day with my daddy and visited my grandpa's grave with him. It was a great day. I even managed to get in 60 minutes of cardio while my parents were doing yard work! Yesterday we went to a play in a local park and sat outside and ate sushi --very fun!

Good Morning ladies! Oh what a night! After such a long day yesterday I stayed up till almost 1 I think. I was laying on the couch and my eyes just kept getting heavier and heavier. When I finally went to bed I passed out really good! I woke up a few times to cover Ayden but I barely remember it. And always went right back to sleep. Tommy had his ride along last night. He was only about 15 minutes into it and he text me that they had already got to use lights and sirens. I guess the guy he was riding with was making fun for him, running plate numbers and looking for someone to pull over or arrest. He is in bed now. He didn't get to bed till 7 this morning. So he might just sleep all day. I can't wait to hear about his night!
Well, I weighed in this morning and I am very disappointed. I am still at 190.8! I tried so hard last week to workout and watch what I ate. And I had so much water all week. Its getting very discouraging to do all the work and not see the number change. I know its not all about the number, its about the look and the feel, but I thought there would be some change in the number. I feel like I have to "Start all over" when I don't lose any pounds. UGH!!!!
I hope you all enjoy your days! Keep it healthy and fun!!!

Morning everyone. Boy yesterday was a busy day. Gavin had a blast even though he skipped his nap he was fairly good. He decided to wake up at 630am today and wouldn't go back to sleep. Layla's bday party turned out great we ended up picking her up a slide and a cute little outfit. After the smash cake we headed out to my nephews graduation party and we all had a great time. Gavin especially! He was ALL over the place. He is now napping for an hour and I finally woke up so no nap for me - maybe later.
Hope you all have a great day today. I'll be back later going to check my emails and the posts from yesterday to catch up.

It was a great day at Worlds of Fun! It got really hot just before we left. 93!!! UGH! Then we went to eat at Pizza Street. I had a salad and 3 pieces(Small) of pizza. It started to thunder and down pour just as we left there. We got home around 4 and napped on the couch watched the royals game and cartoons. Ayden didn't have any accidents at the park!!! I think he finally has it figured out.
You all sound like you have been busy today! My daddy is in Kuwait so all I can do is tell him Happy Fathers Day. Im glad you all are spending your time with your daddys!!

Yes, one dog, Katie, and the three cats.
It is getting ready to storm here. Most of the yard is mowed. Will finish the rest either tomorrow or Monday.
Sounds like everyone is having a fun day.
I will share once I get it perfected. I know the ingredients, but not the amounts for the zucchini corn cakes so I am going to have to play with it some. I had them at Whole Foods, but the recipe is not on their website. The sweet potato pancakes are a Daphne Oz recipe from the Chew. They are really yummy. Think I will also make quinoa patties for variety along with some fresh fruit.

Cindy~ Wow you will have to share your recipe! I make fried zucchini cakes and they are awesome! I also weeded and harvested my cilantro and am drying it out to make salsa when my tomatoes and peppers are ready.

Debbie, Glad you were able to enjoy a nice walk with hubby, Is he in the military? That was really nice of your daughter to treat her daddy, Where did you guys go? I guess my hubby realized that I needed help and he even cleaned the kitchen.
Cindy, sounds like a very productive and some what relaxing Saturday. The Zoo sounds like a lot of fun. I didn't know you had a dog? I thought you just had cats.
Victoria, my workout was well needed and a way for me to kick start my routines. I need to get myself moving again. I totally wish my daddy was closer, but he's retired and loving life. I can't hate him for that, LOL. What are your plans for today?
Laundry is almost done and I'm about to get ready to head out the door to work. I've made some veggie stir fry with, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. Even though the detox is over, I've still made 2 shakes to take to work with me.

Shredded stuff for zucchini corn cakes and sweet potato pancakes.
Weeded and pruned, then I brushed our dog out for about 20 minutes. Got a lot hair but will have to do it every day or so for a few weeks. She is really starting to shed and has long hair and a thick coat.

My DD took us out to eat and paid for DH's meal for Daddy Day since she works tomorrow. DH and I took a nice walk yesterday and I really enjoyed it. He works out at his work on the base so when he gets home he usually turns me down on walking but yesterday he said yes!
Victoria thanks for the advice I am going to get started with my work outs again Monday. Carley my daughter has been complaining she hasn't had her work out buddy. I culdnt believe it but she actually leg pressed 310 pounds yesterday!
Ashley I love World's of Fun! Hope you have a wonderful time with the family.
Michelle hope you enjoy the B day party and was able to find your granddaughter something.
Dee~ I know what you mean about the house. If I do not say something it usually remains undone. Can be very frustrating.
Cindy hope you are having a wonderful day!

Victoria, so nice of you to treat your daddy. I am sure he really appreciated to. My dad is all the way in the Caribbean, so I can't really do anything special. The kids are taking hubby to a movie tomorrow and then we are going out to dinner. My babies are making cards now.
I got in my workout, insanity & walk with a weight vest. Now its time to get showered and finish laundry before heading to work.

Cindy, I'm on all late shifts until we find a Food & Beverage Manager. Hopefully we get someone soon because these shifts are starting to get a little old.
Debbie, you are soo right with night shifts being difficult when you have kids. This morning I realized that things just don't done as they are supposed to unless I open my mouth. Hubby is awesome, but not with what needs to be around the house.
Victoria, I totally try and take one-a-day multi vitamins, but sometimes I forget. I'm actually going to grab one right now That is such great advice you gave Debbie to help motivate to want to exercise. I'm going to do that too because I need a whip and a good kick in my butt. I wish someone could call me to let me know I didn't have to go to work, LOL.
Michelle, you day sounds like sooo much outdoors with Gavin. I remember those days and it totally puts a smile on my face. My kids still love playing outside all day, but now with their friends not Mommy. WOW, sounds like you are going to have a fun filled day at parties with friends & family.
Ashley, it's always nice to get out to see friends. My days go by sooo quickly and our lives are soo hectic, I haven't had a good friend day in a long time. There just aren't enough hours in a day to get enough ME time girl. I didn't get home from work last night until around 3am and I am going to do it again tonight I'm sure. Even though I have CRAZY hours right now, I still love what I do. That's what makes it easier for me to get up and keep going back.
I got woken up this morning by my cat because the kids forgot to feed her. I don't blame her for speaking up because they always forget her on weekends, LOL. I'm awake a little earlier than expected and hopefully I don't get tired towards the end of my shift. Tonight I don't get off until the bar closes and that could be after 2pm. We shall see because Hotels are unpredictable. I'm actually going to try and get changed to get in a workout. Certainly needed!

Thanks Ashley! I try to make sure the kids have a fun childhood.
Tomorrow we are going to be busy too. When I wake up I need to get ready and head out to Walmart and Kohls for birthday gifts then come home and start to make cupcakes that Anna was suppose to make tonight but she decided to spend the night at her friends house instead. We have our granddaughters first birthday and my nephews graduation party to go to. O boy.
Victoria - what movie did you end up watching?

Good evening everyone:) After my workout and Tommy went to school I asked my MIL to watch Ayden so I could go see a friend. When she finally picked him up and I go to her I only had about an hour...maybe. But it was worth getting out of the house and seeing her new house and her. THen I picked up Ayden and now we are all home for a little bit. Tommy is going on a ride along with the Oak Grove Police Department. He gets to ride in the car and see how things work. He has to do 3 for school. So he will be gone most of the night. And me and Ayden will have, hopefully, a quiet bedtime together. HE has already tried to fall asleep on my lap. So cute and sweet. He always plays hard at mama's house.
Michelle- YOu sound like a fun mommy!!! Gavin is at an awesome age!!!:):)
Victoria- Sorry about work:( But enjoy your relax and movie!

We went to Anna's friends house for a bit with the baby and got to catch up a bit with her mom while Gavin played in his kiddy pool with sand in it. Need to make some more. I made like 6 cups and he had a blast in it anyway. He is covered in sand too. We are home now taking a nap and I'm checking my emails. After he wakes up we will be heading to the park. What a fun filled day he is having!! I love it and he only watched two shows on tv so far today. The tv is so easy to turn on for him but I know it isn't as much fun as getting outside and playing and exploring. Today is so nice it isn't to cold or hot and the breeze just makes it perfect to be outside. Taking pictures when we go to the park so daddy can see too.
Take care everyone!! Keep up the great work you all are doing!!

Debbie.
Take care of your knee Victoria.
I decided to go to Hometown Buffet because they have a wonderful salad bar. Had salad and veggies with a little chicken and cheats. Did well.
Now home and thinking about what I want to make for dinner.

Ashley doing great on the eating, BUT having a difficult time getting back to my regular workout! Just can't seem to get it going like I was. I was doing so good too. I did take a walk last night so I am getting some exercise, but need to shape up.

Ashley -- sounds yummy! I love pinapple! good work on the elliptical! :) yay!
Michelle -- 1/2 a cupcake is so good! way to go!! the park sounds so fun!
Cindy -- what'd you get for lunch??
I just got back from a 5 mile walk. My knee is bothering me a little (probably from that day of 2 hours of cardio) so I wanted to do very low impact while still getting in the steps and calories! I burned about 500 cals still! Now I'm having an afternoon cup of coffee (I slept poorly last night --the time difference between me and my boyfriend is tough) then making something for lunch, probably an apple and oatmeal maybe! then pool time and work!

Victoria - I had 1/2 a cupcake Gavin ate the other half. Boy was he messy LOL
This afternoon we are heading out to the park. There is something going on and will have a petting zoo there. Thought Gavie would have fun along with Anna. Then we will get to play a bit until it is time for dinner. Still need to workout too. Right now I'm making play sand but need to find his little inflatable pool for him to play in. Talk to you all later!!

Morning everyone. We had a great time at the party and I didn't over eat for once. Gavin is up now and our day is starting to move now. I started coughing and couldn't stop and he stopped where he was and turned and looked at me as if to say "are you ok" then when I was done he came over and gave me love. So sweet them little babies are.
Here's to a great Friday for everyone!

Good Morning Ladies!
Ayden slept ok last night. I remember getting up 1 or 2 times to cover him up. But I guess i slept ok too. Tommy has another morning off. And he is sleeping in. I need to get him up soon I think. LOL Ayden woke up early this morning. 730. UGH! Its still pretty cool in the house right now, Maybe it will stay that way. HA! Of course Im planning on doing my cardio and strength. And all the water my body can handle! All that bacon last night....sodium over load! At least I don't think we got the low sodium kind. hmm....
Dee- your headache could have been from lack of sleep. Im glad you felt better after your nap. I hope your days get turned right side up soon:)
Michelle- I hope Gavin slept all night for you!
Cindy- Awesome job getting that 8 minutes in!! I love the short videos!
Victoria- enjoy laying out!!! I love being outside in the warm weather, not the blistering hot sun, but shady and warm.
Debbie- hows your workouts coming since Family left? I hope your getting back on track!
Im off here to get hubby up and make breakfast. Have a great Friday!!!!
