Did my 1/2 marathon earlier in the month and now training to do a 6K (yes that's a 6) that is a "Montana Island Challenge". That is on a mountain trail straight uphill and then straight downhill. Ok a little nuts I know, but it sounds like fun.

Are freggies Fruits and veggies? If so, that is funny!
My hubby and I went to a convenient store today and I told him no chips for me, he said they are not for you, they are for me! I chose to get cashews instead........Yum! His bag of chips was 2 servings and he ate the whole bag..........That would have been me, emoticon BUT I am choosing to be healthy as I can be emoticon
So I hope when I go to the doc. on Tuesday I can report that my fatigue is not due to not eating right!

No walk today since it was too hot out already when I got up this morning. Slept in late due to taking Benadryl last night. (I had a bug bite which resulted in an allergic reaction) I did do Total Gym and my stretching.
Sue, if you lived in MN. I would encourage you to step outside ~ it is hot and humid and you would need to guzzle a gallon of water/! emoticon

I failed last week with my goal of stretching. Before committing to the goal online, I had been stretching daily so it should have been easy but then the hormones hit. Well, this is a new week, a new day, and yes a new beginning. I am happy to report that I took my daily walk, did my total gym routine, and I STRETCHED today. Sherio5! I didn't make the goal of staying under calorie count but I try to do that every day! The other day I drank a whole liter of Strawberrry Melon Drink from Brisk Ice Tea co. and Hooo Boy! Don't ask!

I am trying to stretch on a daily basis. This is something that I have never put a high priority on yet as I am aging I find the importance of this basic activity. I invested in a DVD since I do better with a program. My goal long term is to be able to have a series of stretches that I can do independently. emoticon

Yesterday I did eat my planned-for bagel and cream cheese. But I let a slight scheduled change convince me that I also needed some mini chocolates too. But I stayed within my calorie range.
Tonight I am putting those mini chocolates into my plan plus I am having some cherries.
Progress! Not perfection!

How's your challenge going so far?

I made some really great choices most of the day..however, I blew it last night. Let's just say that particular package of cookies will no longer be tempting me! emoticon

I WILL get that pantry cleared out today, before fatigue and pain get the best of my goals.

My goal for July is to make a plan for my snacks instead of just looking for something and eating it then then looking for something else and eating it, etc. Tonight my snack is half a cinnamon raisin bagel with low fat cream cheese. Lets see how this works. emoticon

I see some great challenges here! I was oh so tempted to go thru a drive-thru, but waited, and fixed a nice lunch when I got home! Otherwise, I'd have gone over calories for sure!

Great 1 Sheri,
Mine is to do exercise at least 4 days a week, I'll work up to 5.
This will be interesting considering that I'm getting boxes and filling them up with my belongings yep I'm moving emoticon oh well may the burning of calories fall from my waist line,lol.

I'll go first.

My challenge is to stay within my calorie range.

To do that, I need to purge my pantry and freezer! I also need to come up with a way to have goodies available to my disciplined husband..but not me! I have an idea, I'll post back here later.
