Wow I appreciate all the feedback. I feel better to day. I am on day 2 of a yoga streak where I do 12 sun salutations in the morning and I think this is helping.

I have had anxiety attacks when my hormones are whacky. Now I know that part of these feelings getting out of control are related to the crazy ups and downs of my hormones - not my emotions. The physical side of this caught me off guard - it was before I was having other symptoms. Now I don't have as many issues with the anxiety attacks, because I know what is causing some of the physical symptoms. Knowledge is power!!!!

Yeah this stage of life is rough I'm perimenopausal no picnic I just get moody lately and want ot cry I allow myself that from time to time and know its just my hormones playing with me so nice to have a place to vent

I also am hoping that hot flashes increase my metabolism (there should be more positive things about menopause). But I want to say, Thank You, Thank You, and Thank You for sharing your tough day and how you get through it. What a great inspiration you are.

LEIAFRUMA, I'm glad you came here to vent, that's good.

And I know how you feel those unbearable new discovered 3 lbs that just happen to show up on the scale for the day.

Being Perimenopause is a joy right. not really.

And being able to eat what ever we wanted to has come and gone since our metabolism has been changed.
I'm proud of you for doing some thing despite your headache.

For me hot flashes just say to my body that I'd being having my TOM instead it's HOT flashes, but that me.
I don't know about any one else.
Here's to your victory in waling despite your headache

thanks for your early morning vent.... I also did a +3 on the scale today and felt just absolutely horrible about it. knowing I did it to myself but I sure do remember those days I could eat whatever I wanted and it never showed up on the scale... guess 2 things happened... menopause and the cestation of metabolism.... then ahhhhhhhhhhhhh life and taste buds took over... oh my....

...so I can get on with my day.

I woke up feeling whiny and with a migraine, I sweat myself awake several times last night, and my scale jumped up 3 pounds.

I have had a stressful school year (I teach E.C.) and I think much of my stress response is due to the wacko hormonal woman inhabiting my body! LOL

Today I woke up feeling like menopause is hard.

So I am going to drink lots of water today, go for a walk, and when I feel stressed I will take a deep breath and remember that there is nothing really wrong with my world in the present moment - my "hors" are moaning! no biggy! I will treat myself with gentleness.

The good news: I woke up and did my 12 sun salutations in spite of the headache!
