I think it's important to run in the rain if you are training for races. You just never know what it's gonna be like on race day! I just broke in my new shoes this past weekend with TS Lee. I think I jumped the first couple of puddles but once they were wet I just ran right thru the rest.
I always put my shoes in front of the fridge by the air vent. It usually dries them over night.

I have been caught in the rain. I was told the best way to dry the shoes is to put crumpled newspaper in them. after a 1/2 hour take it out and do it again. repeat if really drenched, or just let that sit over night.

How many of you run in the rain and other types of weather? I have been caught in rain showers before and always finished my runs, but I just bought brand new running shoes and I don't want to ruin them! Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
