Just that we spend it in my hometown. Either at my dads or my sisters. Then on Friday, me and my sister go to a craft show. Been doing this since before my mom passed. And then for the weekend it's getting daddy's Christmas decorations up.

We spend the day with my stepmom's family, usually at my dad/stepmom's house. Usually a later lunch, followed by football.

We always pray before eating; then we go around the table and say what we are thankful for.We eat and then play games. Last year we walked after eating. We have fun together.

A tradition for my family is watching the Cowboy's game. Then we eat dinner, play some games and usually go for a nice walk! We try not to put the focus to much on the food but on the time we spend together as a family!! :-)

Our extended families live out of state so it's just my husband and myself. Other than a turkey, the only real constant is that we always try something new!

Do you have any Thanksgiving traditions?

For us, we always seem to go to my Aunt Mary's, my Mom's older sister's, house. The 2 mainstays seem to be the turkey and the dressing (the way my Nanny made it). She never stuffed the turkey, but used chicken in it. It is always a special time for our family. There is always a prayer, which seems to be done by the eldest member of our family. In this case, it is my Uncle Ron. We have so many things to be thankful for this year and I can't imagine not celebrating with them.
