Hi Seesters. It is another day done. I'm tired but not sleeping on my feet. Work was busy again. Had a patient who came with problems that weren't resolved. I don't think they were seeing how strange he had become. By the end of the day, he was doing a bit better. Still needs care but he wasn't complaining any more.

Snow didn't come today so it was a nice commute both ways.

Weezie2, good luck on the baby watch. Glad you are sleeping well.

LG, that's a lot of baking. So glad you enjoy it.

SS, have fun on the shopping expedition. I hope you have a good visit as well.

I'm going to bed. Have a good day.

Seems like we are all very busy. But it is Christmas time and I know that we all have tons to do.

I baked a lot today. Got a batch of cinnamon rolls made, peanut butter fudge, and 2 Sour Cream Coffee cakes are done. Those are all gone from the house. The rolls are for the museum bake sale tomorrow along with the fudge. The 2 cakes are for the party at Sharynn's. So I'm good!

SS, hope that you get everything. Thomas and I decided to wait until Sunday when things slow down around here to try to finish all the shopping. And I've talked him into doing it on line!

Weezie2, I know that you are so excited to welcome a new baby. We had our monthly historical society meeting today and the our Secretary brought her new baby boy. He just over a month old and weights in at 11 lbs. I got to sit and hold him for most of the meeting. I loved it! Keep us up to date.

WG, hope that your eye heals quickly. Nothing bothers me more than an eye problem.

Tammy, hope that your DD is improving every day.

I'm going to bed early tonight as I have to be at Sharynn's at 8a.m. And, yes, Tammy it is fun to work there!

Hello from Snowy MI!
We have about 6" now and Norm is out clearing out our driveway. Although we have the snow, it's MI and we're used to it so the roads are clear. My DD is on her way over and we are going to continue on with our Shopping Spree weekend. I hope all goes well and I can get all my gifts. That will be a load off my shoulders.

I don't have time to say any more - catch up with you later!

Good morning

It's countdown time here. I'm busy trying to get things finished up. Between cleaning and decorating and the baby watch I go to bed at night and sleep like a rock. I'm the on call person if Kelly goes into labor. Due date is the 15th so it won't be long now.

Have a wonderful Friday. Stay warm!

Hi, Seesters!

It's early, but I slept well and went to sleep early last night, so won't complain. Lots to do today, mostly work-related, but that will come to an end before I know it.

I actually took the time to talk to DB yesterday afternoon, and he felt better after a meds adjustment. He certainly sounded better. I do wish he would quit smoking - lots of things would likely be better.

SS, I do like the sofa - there is a new set for Tammy in 2017, I think.

WG, hope the eye heals soon for you.

LG, it must be a lot of fun working in the store.

Have a very good day - hello to all!

Hi Seesters. Home from work and going to bed in a minute. I think I scratched my cornea last week. Eye still is tender. I've been using ointment and drops. Just need to chill and let my eye rest. Not going to happen tomorrow.

Winter storm warning for the next four days. Hoping to hunker down after tomorrow at work. I agree SS, the snow is nothing to fuss over. It isn't normally as bad as it seems here. We get a lighter snow and not a lot of ice. I do have a swim meet Saturday morning, but that is it until Sunday. The storm should be done by then.

LG, have fun visiting and at your party.

SS, hope the weather improves so you can go with DD. I love the love seats. They are great. They do look sort of brown.

Have a great night.

Hey Ladies..... yes I'm still alive. Trying to get everything done and manage my time. I'm baking and freezing lots for Christmas. Went to see my older sister today and took her some of the baking and candy, cookies, etc.

We did some shopping and I got a few stocking stuffers. Doing all the shopping for Rachel on line. So that will be done tomorrow.

Got to work on Saturday morning for a party at Sharynn's. Only be a couple of hours but still have to be there!!

Don't have time to talk to everyone but I'll get back tomorrow.

PJ - I hope you're feeling better today. A cold right now is not welcome!

WG - sounds like you have Christmas under control. I don't! I'm supposed to be going on our annual overnight shopping spree tomorrow with DD but it's real iffy. It has been snowing and blowing and accumulating all day so it's a mess out there. It will depend if the roads get cleared by tomorrow. No sense putting ourselves in danger over it.

So today we had Community Coffee and then this afternoon they delivered my new power reclining sofa we purchased yesterday. I love it as it is a recliner on each end with a console in the middle. However, it's three separate pieces so we can remove the console and connect it as a loveseat if we want to put it against our small wall. And in the console there are 2 USB ports for charging all today's tech toys. It says it is grey but it looks brown to me, close enough anyway,

Hi Seesters. I've been cleaning up today. Laundry, picking up, cleaning and dishes--oh, the dishes--but it is getting better.

No new window. The cement cutter broke and they won't be able to come until next week at the earliest. Too much snow the next couple of days.

Got some more gifts. I'm about done. There is one puzzle to come and a couple of little things then I've got the purses to make. Hopefully, I've got a handle on things. I'll be glad to get the boxes out of the spare bedroom.

I did get a few things for DS for his kids to give him, but not a lot. Just some fun things like socks (they are cute) and t shirts that have funny sayings on them. He'll be fine.

I've been thinking about Pearl Harbor day today. I was at the memorial 5 years ago when my DD got married. It was nice to remember. There were survivors there then as well. It was our last day so we didn't have a lot of time to linger.

SS, I do like the dress that was made from mom's wedding dress. It is interesting how much the styles have changed. Wedding dresses almost need to skip a generation or two before they are valued. My DIL made a "christening" dress from her wedding dress. There are still grass stains on the underside. It was a nice way to use the dress.

PJ, sounds like you are ready to leave. What do you have to do to winterize your house? Have you got enough yarn for your knitting.

I've got to run. The boys are busy, but not for long.

Have a great day.

SS what a lovely idea to make momís wedding dress into a cocktail dress for Whitney. Iím sure mom was pleasantly surprised. It looks like it was a beautiful wedding

Tammy hope the lithium will work for DD. Family dynamics are such a pain sometimes.

WG Iím sure that the February deadline for the basement is a much anticipated time for you. It will be good for all concerned to have their own space.

Weez one of my many projects next year is to do a quilt for DS from his Bikers for Babies tshirts. I have them all washed and upstairs staring at me everytime I go into the She Cave.
Love the ones you have done and will be waiting on your other pics to be posted.

LG I have baked some cookies for our Christmas dinner and have them in the freezer but more to do Saturday

We will have our Christmas with the kids this Sunday.

We have been busy getting ready for Texas and all the holiday celebrations as well as I use this time of year to get with GFs for several lunch gatherings.

Yesterday I came down with a horrible cold. Took some meds and slept for about 12 hours straight. I know I was feeling run down and stressed and that is probably why I finally got the cold. Usually I can feel one coming on and take my supplements and stop it before it happens. Not this time. But as I told DH I'm sure my body needed this sleep. I am better this morning but still have a very sore throat and that stuffy head feeling. So I am cancelling my lunch date for today.

If all goes well we will be on the road either Monday or Wednesday. I have a dental appt on TUesday unless they have a cancellation and get me in sooner.

Take care everyone

P.S. Sharon if you have Lazy Boy Showcase in your area you might want to check them out for your new couch. I went looking while Frank was hunting and picked out the one I want to get next year.

I go by the name of PJ and live north of KC, MO. Winter in East Texas.

Onward and Downward

Its always too soon to quit.

It may take me longer to get to my goal than my original plan but I will get there.

I'm off to see the doctor this morning! To be honest, I am not looking forward to it. My weight is up from our last visit and I haven't been walking as much so I'm afraid it will show up in my blood work. Oh well, perhaps he'll kick my butt and get me losing again!

Did I mention Norm gave our couch away! I've been talking about getting a reclining sofa or loveseat in the spring so in his infinite wisdom he gave the couch away. The lady came yesterday and said No, it's not a free couch but she wants it for $100. So after the dr, Norm and I are going furniture shopping. I can't go the next 3 weeks without a couch!

Then tonight we are meeting a group for a farewell dinner. The snowbirds are leaving. In fact, another couple called last night to say they won't make the dinner as they are leaving this morning to try to beat the storm moving in later today. We are going to get a lot of snow in the next few days. I wish we were getting out of here!

Hi, Seesters!

I give exams to all three classes, which means I will need to grade all three sets...I am going to try very hard to get them done by Friday, which is when students need to decide if they are dropping the course. That seems late to me, but I wasn't asked my opinion. LOL Then Monday is a class day and finals week starts on Tuesday. Lots of grading in the next ten days...

School/work is really all I know today. My little piano teacher told me yesterday that "Your coming for lessons is one of the high points of my week!" emoticon So I did know that as well. Also, DD says she thinks the lithium is already stabilizing her bipolar - I doubt it, but I suspect it helps her if she thinks it is, so I didn't tell her my opinion. LOL

So I did know those two things...have a good day, Seesters!

Hi Seesters. My mother had more ornaments she and my dad used the first years but I think at one point she threw them away. They were old and she had no special feelings for them. I'm sure my girls will not hold sentimentality for most of my things. My sons will be the ones to do that.

Tammy, sounds like you can look and try lots of places if you want. When you find the perfect fit, it will be the right machine for you. I find that a lot of people are very loyal to the machine they own. Sometimes it is something that entire families enjoy.

LG, hope you get some down time in all that busy.

SS, sounds like your "to do" list is getting better. It seems like time is flying.

The guy comes to cut out the window. Hopefully the other guy will be here to finish the job. I'm looking forward to things getting done.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi, Seesters!

WG, I do know that a Branson store sells Berninas, and a lady that I met at the RV park works there and has 4 of them. I am on an emailing list for the store as well. I know there is a BabyLock dealer in Springfield, which I am quite close to. I am not sure which stores offer Janomes in the area; a quilt store in the little town next over sells Elnas, but I don't know anything at all about them. I am sorry about the ornament. I have some special-to-me ornaments that my kids made early in school - the paper folded angel, etc - those first efforts in art as primary students. They stay in a container these days. Your story reminded me of them and it was nice to reminisce. I would love to see the purses.

SS, three weeks minus one day now! Yay!

I think I finished the last of my latest library books, so I will begin either the latest Debbie Macomber book or the latest Fannie Flagg book - either will be a nice light reading experience, which is great for me right now - that couldn't have worked out better if I had planned it! LOL

Have a good day.

Happy Monday (Afternoon)
The days are flying by now! So much to do. This morning we ran some errands to get final prescriptions before we leave. Three weeks from today we'll be on our way to TX. I think PJ is leaving in one week.

WG - I am so sorry one of your sentimental ornaments got broken. Doesn't matter if the kids are attached or not, it meant a lot to you so I feel bad for you. The purses for the girls sound so cute, I'm sure they will love them!

Tammy - I just asked in the RV thread when the Christmas break is starting and I see you answered it here. Hang in there for a couple more weeks. And you are so right, I am counting the days, especially after our snow yesterday.

LG - thanks for the compliment about the wedding. I got a lot of compliments on my dress so I was pleased. One of our AZ friends called me yesterday to let me know that she was so impressed with the picture from FB, that she printed it and framed it for on their mantle. So I guess in a way, we're in AZ this winter afterall, lol. I have to admit your PB balls sound so good. I don't dare make goodies as I'm in the mood to eat them all.

Weezie - the snow was so wet and heavy that I must admit it was beautiful on all the trees and stuff but today it is melting away and I like that too. I loved the pictures of the quilts. Again, I admire all you ladies and what you do with material!

Hi Seesters. It felt like I had fallen off the earth this weekend. Worked and had no time after to even sit down and chill. I put a box in front of the study door to discourage Miss McGullicudy from coming in and going through things and never moved it until this morning.

SS, the pictures are beautiful. Loved the photo of the bride and the wedding celebrations. The picture of you and Norm was splendid. I love it.

Weezie1, love the pictures of the quilts. They turned out beautiful. I love the layout and the work on them. Sorry about the trouble with the kitchen. Hope things work out soon.

Tammy, I'm so glad you love your pot. I love mine, but need to learn more recipes and figure out how to enjoy it more. My first machine was a Bernina. I love it. My sister never bought any other kind. I know a lot of people who love their Janome machines. I'm sure when/if you decide to get a new machine, you will find the one that works for you. All the stores I've known do give lessons on the new machine to be sure you are satisfied with it. My first machine had several classes. I know others who take classes to learn new techniques.

I'm sure you will do well with your new class next year. Just sounds like a pain to set up.

LG, that's amazing to sell so many machines. I'm sure it is a fun thing to have the classes for sure. Does Sharyn do retreats as well? It would be fun to do a "mini" one for those who can't really leave and stay away.

Today I need to get some things wrapped. The tree finally is up. The Dinosaur broke an ornament last night when the kids were helping me. It was an ornament from my parent's first tree. I don't know if I've got any others left. My father fashioned the hooks as metal was in short supply after the war. It broke my heart but perhaps only mine as my kids don't really remember the stories.

I made small purses for the girls from the "ruffle" yarn that so many made scarves from. I've got to put the lining in and got magnetic snaps for them. Hope the girls will enjoy them.

Then it will be wrapping until my eyes cross. I'm probably done, though, except for the big boys.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi, Seesters!

SS, wonderful pictures/stories of the wedding! What a happy day for your family in so very many ways.

LG, that's just tremendous for the business. I know that when I have considered buying a machine that is "more", that I have considered Janome since you have been so happy with it. I have also thought about BabyLocks, as another Sparkfriend likes them. I think it will come down to help available/perks offered when it does indeed happen. I always enjoy seeing the FB posts from the store, but I sometimes wonder if someone there thinks "Who is this Tammy Humphrey that keeps "liking" our posts?" LOL I suspect that "someone" is too busy to notice.

Weezie, I love the quilts! Thanks for sharing! How's the newer boss/office environment?

I believe PJ and SS will be on the Countdown to Going South now. emoticon

Hello to all - I worked on a school exam for the new class yesterday - it's not that I don't know the material, it's just that as the first time to teach this class, I also have to consider just what a student can do in the class time - needless to say, I am glad the semester is about to be done. 2 weeks from today the grades are to be in. emoticon

Have a very good day, friends!

Good evening,

Sharon, love the pics! She is a beautiful bride but you and Norm stole the show in my opinion! You looked wonderful!!

Tammy, I'm going to look into that "cooker". Thanks for telling us about it. On the sewing machines...it is a combination of a lot of things. We do provide excellent service (some times same day), a day of training to learn your new machine, and of course we believe in our product. I love my Janome machines!

Weezie, those quilts are amazing. But then so are you!! Glad you got a tree up and the boys helped you get it decorated. They will always remember it. My grands know from year to year who got to put the angel on top. So glad that you've started a new tradition.

We went to very early Mass this morning and then I got started and made peanut butter balls, baked a cake and made cookies. I still have to dip the pb balls but they are made. Got all the laundry done but not the church laundry. I'm not going to SVDP tomorrow so I think I'll get the pb balls dipped in the morning and try to get the laundry ironed. I am going to a party tomorrow at 11 a.m. and when I get home Thomas and I are going to head out to try to finish our Christmas shopping. Don't have much left to do. Don't know when I'll get it wrapped but doesn't really matter because Jason and Stephanie and the kids won't be here until New Year's Eve. So just might wait and do it all on Christmas Day when Rachel will be here and she can help! Of course, I'll have to get hers done earlier!

Hope all are doing well.

Hello!! This is a stranger from the past! LOL

I' m sorry I've been MIA. No excuses other than just not checking in. I do apologize.

SS, loved the photos of the wedding. The photo of you and Norm on FB was fabulous and you look wonderful! Glad you were able to stick around for the festivities and holiday this year. I'm sure you're loving the snow we're getting today. NOT!! I was happy to see when I got up from my nap a bit ago I must admit.

I'm working on the final quilt of the 4. DH is taking photos as I think the bag I want to make for the friend will have each panel representing a quilt so she'll have all of them on it. We shall see and I do promise to share photos. I will bug the DH to get them ready for me to use and also kitchen photos. We're almost done except that we need a little paint, little as there is little to paint now but also trim. We do want to replace the light and then install some sort of lighting over the counter where the cupboards once lived. He thinks he can do that too but I can at least share the before and after with cupboards, appliances. Did I mention we had a fiasco with the dishwasher? So this is a old house and they got the water off to do the install but then it wouldn't come back on. Plumber and $300 later, I have a working dishwasher which is fabulous as it so quiet! Our previous was very loud. And, on top of it, the installer knocked the counter right above where the dishwasher goes in and broke it. So, that is in the works to get it fixed. Sadly, he didn't mention it, we came upon it. Grrr.....I knew it was going too easy. Oh, and the freezer on the new frig doesn't seal right so we have a service call on that. Not sure if they will be able to fix or bring us a new one. Oven works great! LOL

Next weekend we will do our kid Xmas at the Step DD's house. I'm glad I'm not hosting this year. I did manage to get a tree up and the boys decorated it last night. They had fun and I'm glad it has something more than nothing on it. My Xmas spirit is pretty low. Myabe the snow will help!

Tammy, I'm glad you like your pressure cooker. I've tried a few things but the thing we use it the most for, sadly, is hard boiled eggs. Works great AND they peel much easier.

Hold the press, DH has some photos up to share. She took several and stitched together as we had no way to hang to get a good photos. Here are 3 of the 4.

I don't know if you can see it but I bedazzled the earring on Audrey Hepburn and the crown on the photo of her winning homecoming I put one little crystal.

This one is for their 10 year old they have together. He had 2, she had 1 and they had this little guy. Will likely need another before he's done I'm sure.

This one is for the oldest of the kids and the only one out of high school. The final one I'm working on is for her son and of course my favorite as it is full of ORANGE! LOL

Dinner is out of the oven so I need to address in a few. Trying something new which will give DH his meat and potatoes and me and my low carb needs. So far so good I might add. Steps have been dismal but losing weight eating differently so I'll take it. Gonna try to get back in the swing soon!

Hello to all, I will be back but wanted to check in and share. Merry Christmas to you all!!

Good Morning!
Yes, I posted pictures on FB but I'll share a little here as well.
First I want to share a story about the Rehearsal. Of course, the mother of the bride wanted Whitney to wear her wearing dress. Whitney wasn't into it. So as a surprise for the mother, the grandmother took the wedding dress and made it into a cocktail dress that Whitney wore for her rehearsal. Here is Mother of the Bride with Whitney and her dress

This is the women arriving at the church to get ready

Whitney was a beautiful bride. This picture doesn't do her justice! Her gown sparkled all over so of course, I loved it!

They took pictures before the ceremony so I don't have any of the wedding party so this is the best I could do.

I have to share that one of Hayden's best friends is someone he helped and worked with at Compassionate Heart where he volunteered. I was happy to see Logan was included in his wedding party. I was so proud of the way Hayden took such good care of him even during his wedding reception. This is Hayden helping Logan dance at the reception.

At 10PM Hayden and Whitney as they left, we all sent them off with Sparklers instead of rice or bubbles. It truly was a wonderful day and I can't believe my GS is now a married man! PS: They left early as they had to drive to Chicago to catch a flight to Miami and a cruise! They were so excited about leaving as neither have been on a cruise before.

Norm and I slept in this morning and it will be a relaxing day for us. Then on to Christmas shopping. I haven't done a thing about that yet.

Hi, Seesters!

LG, I thought that it seemed there were a few machines being bought - is there just excellent customer service/training, a really great salesperson, or what? That is awesome, though - I better not come that direction! emoticon

SS, did you post pics on FB? I must check...

I prepared my first but not last meal in the Power Pressure Cooker last night - oh, my! That was a good pot roast. I plan to roast a chicken in it tomorrow when I get off work. I can see using it being a nice winter project.

I am trying to get things that must be done to wrap up the semester - making Exam 4 for both classes and getting the finals ready - in case I end up being on the road on days that I don't work and would normally be doing such things. DB isn't doing well, but sees his cardiologist on Wednesday. He told me Friday night that his friends were offering to take him to the ER. He texted me that he felt better yesterday morning, so perhaps a false alarm, but I doubt it. He hasn't felt well since summer.

Have a very good day - hello to all.

Very tired tonight. We were very busy at the shop and sold 4 $$$$ machines. Lots and lots of fabrics, etc. Going to sit on the couch and read a book! I'll be back tomorrow.

Hi, Seesters!

Today's the day! I look forward to seeing some pictures, SS, and that includes one or more of you in your new outfit, Grandmother of the Groom! emoticon

I am attending the annual town craft fair today with DIL. All we have to do is walk across the road and a parking lot to the junior high. We live in a fairly quiet neighborhood, being so close to a school - except for Mr. Thinks He Is a Drummer next door. LOL DIL and I have been going to this for a few years now, except for last year when she met her mother's family in Branson for something her grandparents do for the family. It just happened to be the same weekend last year. DIL are going after the first crush of folks.

Speaking of craft fairs, how have yours fared, Weezie2? I think I recall that you were just doing a couple.

My friend was pleased with the plaid infinity scarves. I also mailed one to my DSs, and the younger received hers yesterday and "loved it" - glad she did. LOL

DD has had heated words with her biological father, instigated by DS. I have no idea what DS thought he was doing, given the history of DD and her biological father. It's unreal to me that after almost 27?28? years of being divorced from him that he still hasn't learned from the next three marriages...and that DS bought into his crap led to a very startling reaction of my being mad at him. I've always thought DS and I were more alike in our actions...guess not this time. I've kept my mouth shut about it all, though, and taken the high road with DD.

DD texted me yesterday that she was finally going on lithium for her bipolar disorder. I've thought for awhile that that was probably what needed to happen. I guess the psychiatrist has worked with her trying to NOT do that - not really sure why DD didn't want to - but I hope so much that the lithium will stabilize her moods better. Everyone that I know is very aware of stress and how "one more thing" really affects how they feel, so it is really hard for me to know when her reactions are "normal" or a result of the bipolar disorder.

Okay - enough of that....the power pressure cooker/canner arrived two days ago. I opened it yesterday evening enough to take out the paperwork - perhaps will be able to look at the paperwork today. I was at a workshop yesterday and just wasn't up to anything more later in the day.

I need to get back to making progress on my gift-shopping.

Hi Seesters. LG, I admire you for shopping in person. I'm doing almost all mine online. Got some fun things and lots of boxes arriving at the house. Just a step away and they are here.

The shop hop sounds fun also. I keep thinking I'll do one, but never get there. Maybe one day.

Yesterday, DIL was involved in an incident when a boy brought a shotgun and handgun to school. Fortunately his mother had a "feeling" and found the guns missing. The parents were first on the scene when he finally fired his gun in a classroom. The mother disarmed him and father wrestled him to the ground. DIL was nowhere near the action but had a class in another part of the campus. The kids were in "lockdown" for 3+ hours in her room.

DS, was very traumatized as he heard the news reports and was powerless. She, on the other hand found the incident quite boring and a waste of a day of education. The kids were picked up from the school by the traumatized parents, but DIL said that the students not involved were actually quite bored and not concerned at all by the incident.

I guess it is all perspective.

Had to renew my nursing license today. I've got one more renewal in two years and I can be done. I'm enjoying the idea of being done. Time will pass quickly.

PJ, I can't imagine mowing today. There is no lawn to be seen.

Poor dog was still angry at me for the bag popping incident and the grands being here all the time. I finally was able to talk her into coming inside today and going for a ride with me. She is pretty angry. She is having a sleepover with DS tonight so she will have a break from the kids who live here and the chaos.

SS, will think about you and the wedding this weekend. Pictures?

Have a great day Seesters. I'm off to be grandma and putter a bit.

Hello, Seesters!!

Thomas and I and the kids spent the day today shopping for the grandkids for Christmas. Got a few things for them when I could sneak them in! Most of our shopping is done. Still need a few things for them. Thomas and I are going to go again on Monday afternoon after I get home from a party.

Working tomorrow again. We've had a great Shop Hop and tomorrow is our Open House. So I'm sure that we'll be busy. We sure were on Thursday.

Hope everyone is doing OK.

It was rainy and cold here today. We walked to our Community coffee this morning and had to walk home in rain. I stayed in the rest of the day so I didn't make my step goal today but my eating was good.

Only a couple more days and it will be the wedding. I am so ready for it and then we can move on to Christmas.

i watched a couple Hallmark Christmas movies this afternoon and this evening we watched the Dolly Parton movie that we recorded from last night.

Now I'm settled down in my bed posting from my phone! I will chat again tomorrow.

Hi everyone. Whizzing by as I've got a lot to do. Had a quiet day and will have a busier evening. Gotta get things done so I can move on.

Snowy so I'm OK staying inside. Cold, so I'm grateful for an extra blanket.

Have a great day.

Thank you all for the prayers for the family. Sharon, I think the funeral will be private and I was told there would be no viewing. I really don't know the parents well but know her aunt very well. I do know the grandparents too. And she does live here. Or at least she did.

PJ, I certainly don't want any snow....that is the dirtest word I know!!! I know that you are ready "to get out of Dodge"!

Tammy, I wouldn't know what to say either. I know that my sister (who is divorced) stays out of it and never gets into any discussion with the kids. Her ex is remarried and they are now civil but weren't in the beginning. It was nasty.

WG, I have no idea how you manage all that you do. All those kids would make me a bit nervous!

We were very busy at the store today as we decorated for Christmas and put the finishing touches on everything for the Shop Hop that begins tomorrow. I'll be working tomorrow but Friday I'm going to go shopping with the kids and then I'll work Saturday.

Got to get a few things done.

Hi Seesters. It is a quiet day. Still haven't done much but it has been so nice. There was some fudge last night (DS considers it his specialty) and I have been cleaning it up all day. It is interesting how much trouble the kids can get into when their father decides he is not feeling well. The older kids are pretty obedient but the six year old has decided "You are not the boss of me."

Fabio is here today and has been cute and fun. He did pop some of the plastic bag things in the Amazon packages. The dog was terrified. She ended up in my room behind the furniture. She is now outside and refuses to come even though there is snow everywhere.

Tammy, enjoy the fair with DIL. DD has to work out the problems with her dad. Maybe some of the difficulties have colored her relationships with other men. While Joe has been a stable force in her life, you never know what else she needs, especially with her thought processes.

February is when the basement is supposed to be completed and ready to live in. This means the kids can spend more time down there and I will have less mess upstairs, I hope. It will be nice for the other grands to be able to come over and visit without the chaos. It will be nice for DS and his kids to have their own space and be able to have their own routine. He isn't moving out. He is paying student loans and child support and alimony. Not enough left for much more than a studio apartment.

DIL is now putting out feelers to start a house cleaning service. Since the money will be "under the table" it will make it harder for DS to figure out what is going on.

I had hoped to put the tree up yesterday. It won't happen today either. Perhaps tomorrow it will become. I hate to go this long without the tree up. I enjoy it and it is fun for everyone. I've enjoyed having my village out and this would make it complete. I do have some outside decorations that I won't be putting out this year.

I got rid of my nice rice cooker today. Don't need it with the I Pot. Slowly decluttering for sure. Got rid of than older one last week. Now I have three crock pots I need to decide what to do with. Probably will keep one, but not all of them. There have been times I have used all three pots for meals with my family. I will figure out what will happen to them and to my meals.

SS, you are going well. If low carb is something you can live with, it is really working for you. I can do lower carb but enjoy them too much and sometimes just need some carbs.

LG, I enjoyed the pictures on FB of the decorations at the store. It looks like you are having a fun time.

PJ, I agree that snow is a bother. I enjoy seeing it but it is so cold here now. I'm putting another blanket on my bed tonight.

Have a great evening. I'm off to be busy.

PJ - I hope the snow holds off for you and us! We have had such a beautiful fall but our days are numbered. We also have snow in our forecast! I have been under 20 carbs for three days. I was down 5 lbs already this morning! Of course, I have put on several lbs from Thanksgiving until Sunday. I've had the headache but today I was full of energy and feeling better.

Tammy - can't say I have any words of wisdom for the situation with your kids but I know my DD has always struggled with her kids and their dad. She's luckier than most as they have stayed civil but it has still caused trouble with their step dad and the father that is like God (in their eyes) Broken homes are difficult at best. Just focus on the craft sale and the fun you'll have with your DIL.

WG - I couldn't take all the commotion of the kids! I got a terrible headache after all the GK's would come over. And it seemed like as long as they were at Grandma's, the parents didn't pay attention to them. What is happening in Feb? Is DS thinking of getting a place of his own? That would be wonderful for both him and the kids. When will his divorce be final?

LG - still praying. Is the family in town by you? I hope you can go to the funeral so you, too, can have closure.

Our friends came over today and we went for lunch. I got a salad w/4 oz steak on it. Tonight I had scrambled eggs for dinner. Our friends have just about had enough of their kids and all the drama. Their son is living with them and their DD came on Thanksgiving and stayed until Sunday. The two have made peace with each other so that is making it better but the situation just sucks!

LG that is so sad I will put Emily's family in my prayers.

Tammy I heard that Snow word in the forecast also. We just had a few flakes come down.

It is almost time to go south. It needs to wait just a bit longer.

I go by the name of PJ and live north of KC, MO. Winter in East Texas.

Onward and Downward

Its always too soon to quit.

It may take me longer to get to my goal than my original plan but I will get there.

Hi, Seesters!

LG, so sorry for your sad news. Prayers for sure.

WG, it sounds like A Good Time Was Had at Grandma's House - as I typed that, I thought, hey, that sounds like a holiday movie emoticon

DS helped us take down a small tree - small, but tall - yesterday. What a mess but glad it is done. It was a transplant from FL two or three years ago and we should have researched it better - huge leaves and lots of mess. We were very thankful for DS's help.

I have plans to go to a local craft fair this Saturday - so local in fact, that I can walk out my front door and across the junior high school's parking lot and be there! DIL and I have been going for a few years now - we missed last year because DIL's family had an event - but I saw the sign on the school grounds yesterday and texted DIL and we are on for Saturday morning. Yay! I heard yesterday that we have a chance of snow this weekend - however, I do NOT need it.

My 20-almost-30-somethings are somewhat feuding over DD's treatment of her biological dad. DS chose to send her private FB messages and text messages...of course, her "hackles" are up and not helped by her always present emotions that can get out of control so rapidly. All that psychological stuff about absent dads and little girls? That is the reality here....I am trying to navigate the waters and let the chips fall where they may. I have always chosen to take the high road with EX and I don't regret that, but it is hard to know what to say to DD when she shares something with me about this latest. I just take the high road there as well. I would actually like to kick both their hineys, but you all know the foot problem I have. emoticon

Have a good day! I am already looking forward to my afterBLC days...

LG, I'm so sorry for your friend and her loss. It is never a good thing to have a young one die. The demons they are dealing with are so awful. It is a slippery slope from experimenting to abusing.

Got some sleep but not great quality. The grands had a good day, all seven of them. It was chaotic and not a thing got done. The house is a mess but the kids seemed to get along and have fun. I'm looking forward tomorrow to having just Fabio, though. i think the three who have been coming all along really struggle with the overwhelming noise of the other four. Hopefully by the end of February, they will have some of their own space to make life easier for these little ones and for me.

Tomorrow is another day. Hopefully I'll get some things done then.

I have a request....found out today that a dear friend's niece died on Sunday of an overdose. I'm thinking heroin. It is so sad as she has been in rehab 3 times. The family is devastated. Please remember her and her family in your prayers. Her name is Emily. She was such a pretty child. I haven't seen her in years. Thanks.

We have sun today but it feels cold. And to be colder after today and hang around several days. Hopefully we won't see any or very little snow before we leave.

Frank's appointment with the dermatologist was all good. He does have several spots everywhere that itch and she thought it was possibly an allergic reaction to soap. Been using it for years so she suggested Dove unscented and also recommended some OTC skin lotion to buy.

I have been playing with making some Christmas package tags. Using colored paper and pinking shears. Will let the glue dry and mark them later.

LG glad you found out about your feet and hope you can get some relief.

Sharon I am fighting to eat low carb and struggling. I need to tell myself and remember how good I felt when I was eating that way.

Good Afternoon!
Nala and I have spent a lot of time outside today as it is beautiful - sunny and mid 50's. They said it will be the best day until spring. Tomorrow we have a new front moving in with possible snow. Norm has been off helping install some carpet for one of the ladies in our park. She is a single mother of an adult severely disabled child. She is pretty much homebound so appreciated them doing it for free.

LG - I'm glad you are getting to the bottom of your foot issue. Walking when you have sore feet is miserable. Yes, I am already feeling the energy and good feeling from eating low carb. I'm sorry I wasted time and gained weight that I now have to get off.

Tammy - I have left most of the SP teams I was posting in other than this group and the RV group. I spend way too much time in SP as it is. Probably because I've met most of this team and the RV team, I think of you all as much more than someone I need to chat with.

WG - sorry you got dumped on with snow! We have a front moving in tomorrow which will bring us chances of snow. I hope it holds off until after the wedding.

TB - Wow! What an exciting time for Mr TB. You have every reason to be proud of him. I agree he may not want to include his masterpiece if he's not ready to let it go. Norm did that with one of his woodcarvings and to this day regrets selling it. I hope your weather was nice enough today to get out with your kitten to get neutered.

Good morning, ladies!!

Wow, PJ, that was some accident. So sorry but glad it isn't worse. My thoughts & prayers for DIL. That's a lot of stress. Hope Frank getrgetrs avgood report from his doctor.

Sharon, I'm feeling better now that I'm back on program so um sure you are too! As for decorations, the year we went to Florida on the day after Christmas, I still put my tree & a few things. We took everything down on Christmas night! Nutty I know!

TB, you have every right to be proud! Hope he keeps his painting!

WG, please keep your snow! I'm not ready for that! It rained here all day yesterday and it was miserable! Cold & windy! Yuck!

Tammy, I've never heard of a sapphaire dragon tree. I'll have to look that one up!

Well, my foot problems are from arthritis. Did 3 xrays so nothing broken. He made a pad for thgthge bottom of my foot & if thus works I'll get a permanent thing for my shoe. I must admit I have not even worn it for 24 hours & I can reasreaslly tell a difference! No pain this morning!

Got to run. Working today & we are decorating the store.

Hi, Seesters!

WG, "one more group" - I hear you! I think I am on "group overload". NOT THIS GROUP, though! Just wanted to make that clear, Seesters! I am glad the roads weren't bad and hope you got more restful sleep last night.

TB, how very exciting! And interesting as well...nothing like that in my world, so I always learn something.

SS, wow...the wedding is almost here! You have so much to be thankful for there, and I know that you are. emoticon

PJ, so glad the young man wasn't hurt worse...any thing "extra" does help the stress for the family, though doesn't it? I second thoughts/prayers for your DIL and the seizures.

LG, hope you get quick relief! Joe is really trying to persuade me to go back to the foot surgeon - and I think she will just tell me to continue to do my foot exercises until this episode passes.

One of my co-workers bought 5 of the plaid infinity scarves from me - three are done, two to go today. emoticon Just kind of a fun thing to do with fabric that I already had.

DS is coming over this morning to help DH take down a tree - not a big one - it is a sapphire dragon plant that DS sent a start back from FL with us 2?3? years ago. The one she had in her front yard is NOTHING like what this one has done in this hard Missouri soil. It isn't thick or anything, but MAN! the leaves are huge, and it is just a mess...we will be glad to get it taken down.

Have a very good day!

Hi Seesters. I'm just getting on the computer. It has been a long week/weekend and I'm ready for a break. Won't come until Wednesday.

Had about 6 inches of snow today. My phone buzzed all night with warnings of a severe winter storm so I got up about an hour early (tired body all day) and got ready for work. I left about 35 minutes early and got there about 20 minutes early. Not bad yet but the roads coming home were awful.

LG, hope your heel feels better soon. I had a bunch on one heel a few years ago. It was hard to walk and very painful. I finally treated it and it got better quickly. You have so much energy girlfriend. That's a lot of work.

SS, glad you are back to your routine. You feel better when you follow your routine and eat healthier for you.

PJ, that's a pretty bad accident. It is a long fall. I'm glad DGS was saved even though he had a bad injury. That has to smart still.

Sorry DIL is having seizures again. Hope she finds a medicaiton that works better.

TB, I'd want to keep the "masterpiece" as well. He needs to hold onto it and decide later when he has figured out what is best for him. What an honor to have a show, though.

Gotta run off to bed. Have a happy day everyone.

I'm just flying by to say hi, so this will be brief.

PJ: I'm sorry to hear about your DS and DIL. Your family has had way too much stress lately. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

WG: I'm glad you're starting to feel better.

Lily: I had a plantar's wart on the bottom of my foot a few years ago. I felt like I was stepping on a glass shard every time I put any weight on it at all. It responded to treatment but it was a pain in the *ahem* foot while I had it.

We are in the middle of preparing for Mr. TB's gallery show, which opens on December 9th. He has been really pushing to get things done (it is a good thing to keep his mind off other issues) and has 28 paintings and 16 or 17 sculptures ready to go. Well, he did have that many sculptures ready to go but as soon as people found out what was up, he started getting emails about buying his stuff before he moves it to the gallery. For those who don't know, galleries mark up the prices a lot! The cheapest is around 40% - the one where he is exhibiting marks up 54%. They say it's less but when all the calculations are done that's what the real numbers work out to.

So far (before gallery) he has sold 3 sculptures at $1,250 each and is in the process of negotiating for 2 paintings. He's in a panic about one of them because he considers it to be his best ever and he isn't sure he wants to part with it at all. He thought he had priced it beyond anybody's interest at $15,000 but this guy doesn't sound in the least bit put off by that. Now Mr. TB is sweating ... lol At least, while he's dealing with these folks privately he can always say "no" but once it's in the gallery if anybody is willing to pay the asking price, it's gone! I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls it from the show altogether.

In case you couldn't tell, I'm very proud of him! emoticon

I'd better scoot. I have to get up early to take the kitten in to be neutered; that is, if I can make it. We're supposed to get a freezing rain storm overnight, so who knows.

Hello to Sharon, Tammy, the Weezies, SEK, and everyone I've missed.

Talk to you soon.

Good Afternoon

I don't have anything special to talk about other than I went back on my LC/HF diet today. It always takes the bloat away and so I'll feel thinner by our Saturday wedding. I'll look better in the pictures, at least that's what I tell myself. I also have been walking more and I'm at my goal by 3:30 so everything now is bonus until I go to bed.

I've been home alone this afternoon so I've watched a couple Hallmark Christmas movies. I'm looking forward to Jennifer Nettles Christmas special this evening.

PJ - that is horrible about your GS and his accident. I hope he's doing OK and that he didn't fall completely to the ground. Lord knows what he could have broke. Is you DIL doing OK? I thought they had her seizures under control. I do feel sorry for your DS. He's got his hands full. Crossing my fingers all is OK with Frank tomorrow with the dr.

LG - I'll bet your house looks festive and I envy you that. My house isn't looking festive at all. I am not going to put out any decorations. First of all, I gave all my decorations away when we moved so I would have to go out and buy stuff. It has to be put away on Christmas Day before we leave so it doesn't seem worth it. I'll just enjoy others this year!

WG - I'm glad you voice is coming back. Norm passed his cold or whatever on to me so we've both been coughing and hacking for the last week. I'm just glad we've had it and will be feeling better by Christmas and our trip. You too will feel better for Christmas. I ordered a pair of PJ's with cats on them for my GD who loves cats. I love the convenience of online shopping.

Went to fitness class this morning then off to check on GS. Seems he fell climbing a tree on Saturday and arm pit got caught on a tree limb and ripped his underarm open 30 stitches later and they said he was very lucky it just missed cutting into his muscles and nerves. Also blessed that as bad as it was that limb kept him from hitting the ground from about 30 feet up the tree. His wife also had another seizure the night before and fell off their porch. So Poor DS has had all the stress he can handle right now. Do what I can to support and help.

Tomorrow DH has a follow up visit with the doctor that removed the skin cancer from his head. Wednesday lunch with GF, Thursday me and my boys are going to see their dads sister and their grandma for a short visit. Friday its off to the dentist for both DH and I.

LG hope you get some news about your foot that isn't too serious and can be easily fixed.

Busy busy week. We hope to be leaving for our winter Texas home in 2 weeks. Iím ready. The trails are calling my name in Texas. emoticon

Yes, it's been a long "weekend". I'm tired. But today I really got busy and got all the decorating inside the house done! Also, did 4 loads of laundry, all the church ironing, and swept the house! I really needed to get upstairs and clean up the rooms but just didn't have it in me. Maybe tomorrow.

WG, emoticon on staying the same weight! Not me!

Weezie2, yes you need help installing those blinds. I've been thinking that I might need to buy some new ones for the rooms upstairs. Do they make insulated ones still? I might need to check into that. I have 12 windows upstairs!

Sharon, black is good anytime. And you are right about the height of the heels!

Tammy, hope that you enjoyed your pedi. I'm hoping to get one this week some time!

I'm seeing a foot doctor tomorrow about this "thing" on the bottom of my one foot tomorrow. Hope it is an easy fix! Cross your fingers.

emoticon to everyone else!

Hi Seesters. It's been a long weekend. I hope this week is better.

My voice is almost back. I still have a cough, but not as bad. I survived working two days and Thanksgiving dinner with my family. SIL hosted. Missed my brother who has hosted for years. My kids all showed and my sister's younger daughter. Sis didn't show at all. She left town.

Food was good and I weighed the same this morning. Not bad for me.

SS, sorry you can't find nude shoes. I'd be fine with black. Especially when you accessorize with black.

Tammy, how fun to get the pressure cooker. It will be great fun. I used the slow cooker function yesterday and made stuffing in it. There is even a FB group that talks about recipes, techniques, etc. I don't belong. Can't do any more groups, but it sounds fun.
I like that I can sear my roast and cook it in the same pot.

I'm also leaving BLC after this round. I've been going since round 18 and need a break.

Weezie2, sounds like a fun thing to get your window coverings. I agree. You need installers.

Gotta clean up the house for company. Kids still wanted to come today. Perhaps a short visit. I've got the baby here as she isn't feeling well. She is napping now. Hopefully she will feel better later.

Been doing cyber shopping. I'm getting some of it done. Found some things for the tree gifts. I found puzzles of the topographic maps of the kid's houses. It will be fun for them to put them together.

Have a great day everyone.

Hello!
I got a few minutes before my scalloped potatoes are ready to come out of the oven. Then we are taking off to my largest Christmas Party of the year. Extended family on my mother's side. Unfortunately, everyone tries to outdo each other with their food. Either that or we have extremely good cooks in the family! Whichever, I will try to do better than on Thanksgiving!

The rain has quit for awhile so it's nice to see dry pavement. Nala doesn't even like to put her dainty feet on wet grass, I'm sure she isn't going to like snow. In fact, a few days ago there was snow on our deck. Nala loves to go out on the deck. Norm called her, she came running and put one foot outside before she turned around and came back in.

I guess I'll be wearing black shoes for the wedding because I can't find any nude shoes in the stores I frequent. It's the wrong season to buy nude color. Plus, I find not many stores have a decent selection of heels and if they have any, they are about 8 inches high! Oh well, I've only worn the black ones once so it will be fine.

It's been another crazy week. No football game today so I plan on making the most of it and getting a few things purged from my garage and donated to goodwill.

Lowes has my blinds on sale for 50% off so I want to get my front window ordered. I'll have to get someone to help me hang it. It's going to be 116" long so it's probably safest not to hang it myself emoticon

I'm finished with the little girls room unless I decide to hang a curtain over the blinds in there.
I'm glad to have it finished.

Have a Great Sunday!

Hi, Seesters!

Not only will I have the Power Cooker, but it is to arrive my 11/30 AND I didn't have to pay for it - it is a Christmas gift - I think from both stepdaughters - gotta make sure so that I thank both of them - between my hearing problem and going back and forth on ideas in conversations all the time, I am never completely sure just what is going on. Regardless, it is nice and we will certainly enjoy it. DS almost bought one to can some things from his backyard gardening efforts, so I will have us use it together this summer, and then I might have a good idea for a gift for him NEXT year! LOL

I'm tired - we got home yesterday morning. I am almost caught up on washing/drying clothing and bedding. I am also committed to going to a pedi with DD - if she doesn't cancel. That has been known to happen, hasn't it? I'm going to make the best of it regardless. I also need to make a from-scratch-powerpoint for a class on Monday and another on Wednesday. Usually these can be modified from the publisher, but not possible this time. I have about three slides done and then was just too irritated and decided to give it up for a bit. I would also like to stitch up one of the infinity scarves for my friend. Fortunately, the cutting of said scarf is done and I just need to sew and press.

I decided to step down as captain of the BLC team that I "had" for a couple? three? rounds. It just wasn't "working" for me anymore and just too much....there are three or four more weeks and then that is done.

It won't be long and I will be picking up DD - have a good day, Seesters!

WG, that is so sad. Don't people realize that Granny can still figure out that she isn't wanted? Makes me so mad. I must admit that there were times that my mom was a challenge. Hope that you are feeling better quickly. I know about that chaos reigns "thing"! That's what we had around here.

Sharon, glad that you concentrated on family and not food. I didn't do so well. Got to get back on track. Kick me!!

I am working 4 days this week and we are going shopping with the kids for the grands on Friday. I have to get all the decorating done by Monday because I've got so many other things to get done. Ball games, parties, etc. Brooke and Carmen both play on Monday....one at 5 and one at 6. So I'll be doing some sitting.

Brooke did tell us that she isn't going to play basketball next year. She wants to concentrate on softball. So that will be good for her.

Hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Hi everyone. No good deed goes unpunished. I volunteered to stay yesterday and was going home early today. Not so. I have voice but now throat is sore and I'm hating swallowing. It's still a virus and I'll survive. Just hate life.

Had a "granny dump" patient yesterday. Dropped off just before lunch and family showed up after they all went out to eat. Granny is a bit of a challenge so it was nice. She was to go home today but family member said they had planned on having her in the hospital another night. The worst one was a family who wasn't "ready" for granny to come home for probably her last Christmas with the family until the day after Christmas.

I understand. Just don't like.

SS, sorry you have leftovers.

LG, that's a big bird. What a challenge to cook it all and take care of it. You will be having turkey everything for months!

Have a great day. I"ve got to put dishes away and load another load. Grands are here. Chaos reigns.

Had a nice dinner at BILs yesterday. Today I did preorder some enlargements of a picture at walmart and went and picked them up about 10 this morning. Not bad in the store or checking out. Now I am baking a batch of cookies to put in the freezer. Of course I have been sampling the batter. emoticon

I survived the feast of 2016 otherwise known as Thanksgiving Dinner! We had so much food, some of it was never touched. That makes for a lot of leftovers! I will have to be careful the whole weekend.

Today I am NOT going shopping! I looked at all the Black Friday ads yesterday and there wasn't anything I really wanted. I have been thinking to add a tablet to my tech products but I'm not sure what I want yet so I'm not going to run out and buy one until I do research on them. What if any, do you have or use? I have an Android phone so I'm thinking I might be happy with an Android product.

Tammy - I have seen the TV ad for the Pressure Cooker and of course, I can be convinced I need all the Informercial products! I'm glad to hear a couple of good reviews from you ladies. I'll have to think whether it is something I would use much.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Tammy, I got one of those pressure cooker things. It is cool and not that expensive.

Hope everyone had a good day.

Happy Thanksgiving, Seesters!

I am fairly certain I have a new kitchen appliance that I wish to buy - it's one of the electric slow cooker/pressure cooker/canner, etc. My oldest SD prepared ham and beans in it last night, and oh, so good and quick! I don't want to do major canning, so would be just fine.

Some good reminiscing among the SDs and Joe last night - glad about that!

Have a very good day...

Wow! I've been in the kitchen cooking all morning! The sad thing is I'm only about 1/2 done. Plus I have to make the salads in the morning. Way too much food! But we/re cooking for 7 hungry young men (yes, that includes Norm and my SIL) The men are all Dutch and my DD said 10 lbs of mashed potatoes! Whew! It takes forever to peel 10 lbs of potatoes.

WG - I'm glad you got the papers signed and some idea of a timeline for the work to be completed. Now I hope Thanksgiving goes well for you and yours.

TB - I broke even on our casino run but Norm walked out $75 ahead. He actually won $95 but he gave me another $20 to play and I lost that for him as well. Congratulations of the new Embroidery machine. It sounds like you made a good deal.

Tammy - I probably won't be having a Thanksgiving Dinner with DS. They are hosting a big dinner party for Zona's side of the family. We were invited but already had plans to go to DD's house. We'll probably go and visit with them some time over the weekend but I don't want another big meal. I don't have time now but after Thanksgiving I will post my cranberry bread recipe in the recipe thread. If I forget, just remind me.

LG - what a fun idea to decorate the Christmas tree before they leave on Thanksgiving! I love that idea. Have fun.

And if I'm too busy in the morning to pop in, I'll tell you all now.

The only thing I am making is deviled eggs for Thanksgiving dinner so not much work for me. Picking MIL and going to BIL house. The eggs is the only thing they wanted us to bring.

I went to my fitness class this morning and had a chiropractor appointment. It had been several months since I had an adjustment and it was needed.

You quilters another pile is upstairs of DS t shirts for a quilt that will be another 2017 project. I have also picked up my knitting needles again started some socks. Need to round up my coloring books etc to take to Texas too Another pile. LOL

Trying to find a new normal for me now that things are settling down. Getting excited about heading to Texas those trails are really calling my name and I canít wait to get there to start walking everyday again.

WG I love the idea of the outlets with lights we have a few dark areas where that would be nice.

LG sounds like someone bought herself a Christmas present of a new machine. Spending that kind of money they need to throw in some extras.

TB glad you didnít venture out in the weather for the doctor it can wait a few days. Sounds like you have a new toy to play with too. Have fun. Are you finding time for poor Red these days.

Tammy enjoy your trip to Branson. I donít mind not having dinner hear then I donít have to deal with all those tempting leftovers. However Iím sure DH will be bringing home some pie to eat later in the evening.

Happy Thanksgiving to all

Good evening everyone. Not much voice yet. I have a small croak

The guy came and we signed papers. Window after Thanksgiving. Then he said the rooms should be done by the end of January. Hoping it is so. I also ordered some more covers for my outlets. They have small LED lights and keep the pathways lit without overhead lights. I love them. Now to order the fireplace and

PJ, glad you are back and are going to walk away from the hard stuff. Take care of you and figure things out.

Weezie2, green is a lovely color. I'm glad you have things well in hand with the baby and other things. It sounds like great fun.

TB, congrats on a new machine. I'm sure you will enjoy it when you get time. It will give you a; new creative outlet. I'll bet Mr TB can even help with designs.

SS, hope your outing is fun.

Tammy, hope dinner works well for all the kids separately. I never would have put that on my Norman Rockwell vision of Thanksgiving. I'm glad that you will be seeing the kids. Sending home leftovers is always a good idea.

Had the kids today. There were the extras from DS as well. Sometimes they have great fun and sometimes it isn't so fun. They had a good time but there was a lot of noise.

Have a fun day tomorrow. I've got to find some time to clean out my sewing area. I had some Minky that I found for $2 a yard that Miss McGullicudy keeps finding and dumping. Add to that anything else she can dump and it was a delightful day today.

Maybe I'll be able to talk by tomorrow.
