I cant stand for long periods of time due to arthritis in my ankles but I would like a lesser challenge of maybe 300 minutes per month for fitness. I do my exercises but it is very painful and I am hoping it will get better with weight loss. Maybe there are others out there with limited mobility.

Hi Everyone,

I have just read you challenge ideas, sorry I have not been able to respond until now, just got my internet connection back. I hope you all had a good Christmas. I believe we can start a monthly challenge if you would like, we'll start Jan 3.

I think that's a great idea. I'll often see results in size long before seeing any change in the scale.

I embrase those things in my life that give me joy and pleasure. Those that wound or displease me, I crush under the heel of my boot.

I'd like to see a challenge relating to actual inches lost. Perhaps from the waist?

Just this past week I upped my cardio from 30 minutes to 45 minutes and I saw a huge improvement in the speed I was making progress.

How about a challenge to increase cardio by even 5 minutes per day? Or do 1 extra rep of an exercise per day?

I embrase those things in my life that give me joy and pleasure. Those that wound or displease me, I crush under the heel of my boot.

how about a challenge to gain Sparkpoints, so we can better utilize the site?

as we track nutrition/fitness...read articles, make blog posts, leave messages for others, reply to threads; we gain points.

we can say, we will try to gain an average of 10 pts per day..or 50 per week (take the weekends off)...then each of us will also be learning the site better...

I love challenges...It keeps me on track. I'm having a hard time with staying in my calorie range. I love to eat and I just can't put the food down. I think something to do with both exercise and food should be in a challenge.

Ok, since we are pretty much all account for as a Spark team I want to get everyone's input on what they would like for our team challenge.

Give me some ideas, since the holidays are coming up I think it would be a good to have a challenge that will take us to the end of the year. Can you believe we have about 6 weeks left to the year?

So, tell me what you are needing help with and we will come up with a the Holiday Team Challenge where we can work to reach our goals through the hardest time of the year.

We can do it!
