LEIGHZ - 500 calories is not 1 pound. It is 3500 calories per pound. Just a correction...

500 calories is 1 one pound. so to lose 1 pound you have to have a deficit of 500 calories per week either by working out or by calorie intake. that being said while doing the insanity you have to feed the muscles that you are depleting while working out and you may notice that you are eating more. So far I'm ending my week 2 I've lost 5 pounds but I've also lost 2% body fat.

Hey there - I'm happy to help clarify for you. First of all, you're doing something right if you're losing inches - this means you're building muscle, so celebrate that success. When I did Insanity I only lost about 5 pounds, but I dropped a whole pant size - so I had a similar experience

Since everyone is different, I can't make a general answer for what other people are doing on the program, so I have to ask you some questions first. How many calories are you currently eating? Are you noticing that you're getting tired regularly, or are you only wanting to adjust your calories to see a drop on the scale?

Hi I am in Week 6 of Insanity. It is for sure a very hard week for me. I even missed my Max Recovery today... I hope to catch up with 2 tomorrow. Well my question is since I have started Insanity, I did not see a lot of change in my weight. I am pretty much the same weight as before. Month 2 rolled in just this week and I see difference in inches but not weight.

My question is how many calories are you eating during Inasnity. Did you lose any weight. What ration of Protein, carb, fat are you eating?

Please let me know so if I can modify my eating, I will and try to make most of it this month.
Thanks

Kalyani
