I would like to be a size 10 and might even settle for size 12 if I felt strong and fit at that size.

I realistically would like to be a size 12. At a size 10 my hip bones stick out, ribs can be seen, and have been told I look like walking death by a health professional. (I am large boned in lower body). So 150ish and size 12 is my goal. Last weigh in was 244 Down slowly from 287 last April 2013. emoticon

I was formerly a size 2 so I would at least like to get back to that again.

I'd be happy with a size 10 in today's sizes. I was a size 8 once before gaining so much weight-so I think the new sizes are larger?--my daughter wears a 2 or a 4 or something like that and her measurements seem close to the size 6 or 8 of the 1950's and 60's. Am I wrong?

The new designer sizes have me confused. I'm currently wearing size 10 pants, and a medium top. I want to lose 30 pounds - maybe a size 6?

For some background, I am 5'3" and a little busty. Right now I am a 4 or 6 in most jeans and a 6 or 8 in most dress pants. I have about 25lbs to my goal weight. I'd love for a lot of that to be inches and to get down to a size 2.

I'd like to be a UK size 10 - which is only one size down for me - I think that's an 8 in US sizes, although I have a pair of US size 6 jeans (but clothes vary a lot I guess) - I'd like to be around 34" bust, 25" waist, 35" hip.

I would love to be a size 12.. I'm 6' tall so I would be thin and healthy at a size 12. I am currently a size 20... which really stinks... because tall plus sizes are extremely hard to find! It's so frustrating when people tell me LB or Torrid carry talls because their talls are mostly for 5'8-5'11... and yes an inch can really make a difference... and jacket and shirts... my choices are so limited. For instance TJMaxx... hundreds of rack of regular sizes... two racks of plus sizes and of that maybe... if I'm really lucky I might find one shirt that has a generous length. So being in regular sizes would open up a whole world of clothes (still limited tho-)
Oh... and how much better I would sleep with out the extra pounds!!! Oh, sleep how I miss you! LOL!

I really don't care what size as long as I am healthy. 16 would be nice thought!

Not sure if you would like this, however, the new genie bras are pretty good...

I want to be a size 6 as I use to be , actually I was a size 3. I still want to be a 6 at the very most. As I am only 410" I think a size 6 is low enough and still healthy. I am at 8-10 so its not too far off..

the size number on the tag does not bother me too much but i would like to get rid of the body fat that weighs me down. i struggle with some yoga and other exercise moves because my fat gets in the way, so i would like to have a smaller circumfrence. other wise i do not have an ideal size.

I am a size 22-24 right now. In my 20's I was a size 12, and I thought I was heavy then. Ha. I would like to be a 10-12. size 8 would be even better. I just started, so I have a long way to go.

I'd like to be a size 8 again...right now I'm really more of a 12. My work clothes don't fit and I'm uncomfortable. I have bought a few larger things, but really can't afford to replace everything!

I'm in my 60's and a size 8 would be my goal. I got about 40 lbs to go to get there. I have thyroid disease so I run on low side which slows my metabolism to very slow! It's so hard; I never had weight issues till I started menopause, now I'm done and cant lose a pound. emoticon

In my mid 30's I got down to a size 10 and felt really good. Now that I'm older, early 60's, I will shoot for a size 12 and then judge from there.

I really struggle with this question, because it's been such a LONG time since I've been in a size that I *think* might be right for my height. Ideally, I think a size 8 might be where I'd be at my lowest, healthiest weight. However, I believe I'd be content to get to a 10-12. I'll reassess as I go. Right now, I'm busting out of my size 16's and had to add some size 18 slacks, and 1X tops for work. Tired of these clothes though and have lots in size 14 I am eager to be able to wear again, before I start buying a whole new wardrobe in the smaller sizes.

I guess you can't reply to an individual post. Had to edit so it was clear who this post was replying to.

Remember, Michelle_391, BMI is not an accurate way of assessing body fat %, which is more important. If you worked out a lot to drop to the size 12, you might have built muscle, which would skew the BMI. I'm a naturally muscular woman, so I am sensitive to the emphasis on BMI. I wouldn't let a number tell me if I was a success at achieving a healthy weight. Tune in to what feels right to you.

Thats a hard question now that I am getting older...right now I think I would be real happy at a size 4...I am a small person so I pretty much know what I should wear at 120 pounds...in my twenties and early thirties I was under 115 and wore a size two...I would feel great in size 6 because it has been some years that I have stayed in a size 10....

I would like to be a size 12/14. I have not been this size since my freshman year of highschool. I am currently a 20/22. Have a ways to go but I can get there.

I thought I wanted to be a size 12, but I'm still not at a healthy BMI. I'm going to go for an 8. I guess I'm not too focused on the size - I'm going for BMI. I'm one pound away from being "just overweight"

I'm down to a size 12 right now. I started SP at a tight size 20. I know that sizes are larger now than when I was in junior high/high school but I still love that I'm in a size 12 again. I remember being a size 13 in 7th grade and I struggled with my weight throughout junior high and high school and managed a size 10/11 until my senior year (when I put on some weight).

I always wanted to fit into the 5-7-9 store in the mall (in the 1980s) and never quite made it. So, short story long, I'd like to be a size 8.

I agree with one of the girls here who said there is no right size. But I think I'll be happier when I reach size 14. Right now I am a size 18 and I think that a size 14 is a normal size for me to maintain without a struggle. Have a great week everyone.
