on friday out sup brought in free donuts. i had 1. then i refused to allow myself to have anymore.
did not have the same success on monday. i ate junk all day at work. i came home and did a good intense workout before supper. i like exercising, but i can not use extra excuse to shovel more food in my mouth.

Raw vegies, whey protein oatmeal. hibiscus tea,( half an hour from picking) blackberries, oatmeal, cherries, grape, dried cranberry . Strawberries later.Possably. CARROT FOR BREKFAST ,

For the most part yes... but I've been lacking in the fruit and vegetable department. My meals have been consisting mostly of Carbs and Protein. I will be going grocery shopping on Monday and will stock up on the fruit & veggies then.

On a better note, most of the "naughty" food is out of the house emoticon Phew!

nope. we had free breakfast at work. they allowed us to go for seconds. i ended up not eating lunch because i was so stuffed. i went for a quick walk outside instead to help digestion

one grape to start, after an oatmeal cookie salad with cherry and spinach with, teaspoon chicken, teaspoon salmon. Good after a bad start. Soy milk with granola for desert.

i was going to have some ice cream befoe bed but i was not hungry so i did not. i ate to much at supper. i had more on my plate, but i put it away because i was already full. i will have more leftover for tomorrow night,

I did not at breakfast, but I did at lunch, though I was very hungry. I did a body scan before I ate, and one after. Normally eating = anxiety, but today, after my 1/2 sandwich, I am feeling not hungry/not full, but relaxed. I have no idea why.

most of the day. a little bit late at night i did have some junk when i was not hungry but otherwise i did not have some sweets after dinner. i also did not eat junk in the care when running errands. i am trying to make a new habit of not eating im my car.

yeap, trying and relearning .. holy heck its not easy .. when u got not so much healthy stuff to eat and the good stuff all gone eaten by kids .. so trying new things every week and try to over stock the good stuff .. i had to return stuff at store as i put things on cashier thingy .. in order costly stuff meat , school stuff for kids lunches snacks , then veggies and then furits and extras last .. tht extras would be healthy stuff for me as its hard to make sure u have enough for a whole week for kids and such.. how does anyone do it . with the rising cost ..

eating mindfully has led me to becoming a vegetarian. I have been a vegetarian for nearly 3 months now. Just being aware of where my food comes from has led me to come to this decision.

I put fruit by the oatmeal but weighted until there was walnuts and flax ground and fruit was ready to go in. Spinach salad with a little bit of cheese and one slice of bread. possibly a hazelnut sandwich later. sample of kale salad.

A lot more mindful today. I still am stressing over some things, however when I sit down to eat I try to be there and not anywhere else.

No not today. I dealt with bureaucrats on the phone as I tried to rollover my 401k plan. They just made me very made and I was angry when I ate.

Yes. Very mindful today.

I put down the fork thankfully and I always enjoy much more when I remember to do so.

The alternative habit is to keep stuffing my face searching for something that will satisfy me. I am never satisfied this way...it only upsets me.

It is paradoxical that the answer is to just slow down and eat less...mindfully

So far this morning I had egg whites and potatoes. I ate very mindfully. My meal is so much better when I bring a mind of gratitude towards each sensation.

i did pretty well. my stomach started to gargle a bit arounf 530 pm. so pretty cool that i started to feel hungry but i did not grab any fast food or funk food on the way home. Food was on my mind when i left work but i did not stop to get anything.

Not quite paying total attention to my eating, but prepared a very healthy smoothie-nothing but fruit & juice, for breakfast. Very tasty & sweet without having processed sugar in it. I used bananas, mandarin orange juice, oranges, frozen strawberries, peaches, mixed berries--all organic without added sugar. Very tasty. I love my Vita-Mix.

A little better today. I had a nice garden salad for lunch and I wasn't doing anything else like surfing the internet.

For dinner tonight I will try to be more mindful because I know it is the best way to eat

I did a little better today. I ate lunch with my kids today. We talked a little and ate. Everything gets so distracting when other people are around, but I would like to be more grateful for the moment, the company, and the food.

Focusing on breakfast. I had special K, almonds, banana, non-fat milk & coffee. I paid very close attention, not a fan of cold cereal. It gets soggy within about 3 minutes-makes it difficult to eat slow and enjoy it. I really do not like soggy cereal. Bananas, milk, and almonds made a good combination. No matter what cereal I try, I cannot eat as slowly as I like-it triggered memories of childhood when I refused to eat cold cereal--preferred hot cereal (eaten with butter, brown sugar & fruit), toast, sandwiches, etc. As much as I tried, it only took 6 minutes to eat.
