Goal met can fit cincher dress wore it in the weekend and felt like a princess
Ok...... I have a juicy velour tracksuit which is a large and its meeting its final days now I have some replacements ....... well actually I have had them waiting in the draw for some time. These are my goal they are a size small and standing very ridged can pull them up with some seam pressure and no bending over they fit but i do have some overhangs ekkkkkk. It is my mission to get into these over the next few wks!!!!!
Just this week, I put on a large t-shirt and some jeans without elastic and they fit... the t-shirt was in fact a bit large for me. I felt wonderful.
both were black which is really my signature colour... not that I do not enjoy colour, I do... very much so
My clothing goal this week. Get rid of my xlarge and up clothes, though keep a few nice baggy t-shirts to sleep in.. I love those, but the 5x is a tent now, time to let it go and may be someone else that is having a hard time finding clothes to fit, will enjoy what I am donating this week.
It is hard to give em up. I have been sorting thru and looking at everything. I do not want to hold on to this, and yet it is hard to let go. I enjoy comfortable a lot.
Long term goal, when I get a friend to help me. I intend to make a dress makers form, and then a custom made corset.. I love corsets, think they are sexy as hell, but who knows if I will be comfortable in one at this size....
In the meantime, I did buy a new hat, a pretty one, sexy and feminine. Now to find a dress to go with it, and some sexy lingerie for underneath... time for some fresh starts here...
today I was officially 100 pounds lighter from the day I had surgery, though not near enough, it is an important landmark so to speak
yes, I had been heavier than that surgery, but that was the day I started a new life and then over the years, I lost site of that, and succumbed to my own laziness and excuses... like my partner always ate crap and since I had to do the cooking, that was our deal... I often times ate what I made them. Somedays it was too much work to create two different meals.
anyhows, that is all behind me now, fresh starts on all fronts here
Well dang. I was checking my email this morning and the notice of a new post in this thread was there. So I had to check it out. It reminded me of my goals, one of which is to fit into a new shirt that is quite snug and be comfortable in it. Did I mention I was eating some Reese's pieces at the time I was checking my email?
I've since put the candy away and am drinking my water. Thanks for the reminder to stay on task!
To fit a dress...any dress...preferably one that doesn't make me look like a tent!!!...
To get into a sz16 would be a blessing...I think if i was smaller than a sz16 i wouldn't have anything to worry or complain about, I would be pretty damn happy within myself...and i might actually go out in public!!! - I haven't been out in public in well over 2-3yrs, mainly due to the thought of someone seeing me makes me want to cry..
Fitness comes from the inside out; Change your mind, Then change your body - (I need to get out of the 200's - Mentally & Physically - DONE!!! Dec 2011).
YOUR HARD WORK WILL PAY OFF IN THE END - KEEP ON MOVING!!!!!
I just wanted to share some of my excitement with you guys about some goals I reached this week. I have this lovely pin stripe corset that I have never been able to wear. I got it about a year and a half ago, unfortunately it was one size too small. I got it anyway in hopes I would lose weight. Well It fits now! The last time I tried it on it was too tight around my waist and the buttons on the front were practically bursting open. Now it fits like it was made for me. Also, yesterday I wore a brown plaid pencil skirt that I got in February and its always been too tight around the hips and now its not. My next goal outfit is this cute polka dot dress that's a bit too tight for the zipper on the side to zip up.
The downside is one of my favorite skirts, this really comfy gray pencil skirt, is starting to get too big on me now.
