For the last half of November:

* Get this damn 10k run/walk over and done with.

* Start and hopefully get 3/4 of the Christmas shopping out of the way.

* Lose 2 to 5 kgs (4.4 to 11 lbs) - as this weight just wont shift, and it is starting to creep back on goddamnit!!!!!....arrrgh...

ok the past week i have behaved with my exercise! emoticon BUT........... i have grown quite the wee appetite with all the physical activity and to top it off i am debating in my head that i can have the odd treat/handful of naughty but pleasurable food arghhhhhhhhh. I have 30 days and not much time, serious mode is in overdrive!! I have a 10k marathon to achieve in the next few days so I have to stop the mindset of I exercised so I can eat what I want. Her goes will power where are you?????

Thats sounds emoticon samantharebecca! Sounds like you are making great progress and taking it in your stride. I too would like to start involving strength training, ie use hand weights etc while walking or incorporating it on the treadmill (that could present a challenge!) Please let us know how you get on, I would like to know how it is working out for you.

My mini goal for the month is going to test everything i have got in me. I have been doing a little online shopping and have discovered a pretty dress I would like to achieve for initially a Christmas work function then any that may follow. Problem is I have measured up and just tip over the largest size in all its measurements emoticon I have made it my mission to give everything I have most days by being active either a morning walk or treadmill (adding hand weights), watch portion sizes and limited my treats. I have two weeks then I have to purchase the dress in order it to arrive in time!

Wish me luck and I shall keep you all informed on my progress come time! May have to print a little picture of the dress and stick it to everything like the pantry, fridge and treadmill emoticon

My mini goal is to get back down to my lowest weight by the end of the month. That's 6 pounds less than I am right now.
I plan to do this by continuing to go running at least 4 times a week, get back to eating healthy, and start strength training again.

I am going to take this mini goal one wee step at a time, if i do fail its about getting back up and trying again.

This month:

Make a conscious effort to exercise most given days
REDUCE (not eliminate entirely) salt, dairy and savoury snacks emoticon
INCREASE: protein, fruit, vegetables and water daily emoticon

To be a little (or a lot) happier...

To not worry so much about what others think of me and to not let myself get hurt by people that don't really deserve to be in my life...

I just want to stop feeling so damn terrible about myself...I feel like nothing i do is good enough to these people...I NEED to stop this Self Programming and feel good about me!.

I am most definitely at a cross roads and i don't know which way to turn..

emoticon Decluttering and organising my space - the parts of the house I use most!

emoticon Calorie deficit - logging my calorie deficit each day (aiming for a deficit each day too!)

Firstly, I lost 4kgs (over 7 pounds) but it took March and April sadly..
NEW MONTH- NEW GOAL - NEW FOCUS!!!!


Month: May

Goal: 5.5 Kgs - 12.1 Lbs

Plan of attack: NO Processed food, NO Red Meat, NO Breads, NO Pasta's, LIMIT coffee. - Treadmill Treadmill Treadmill some crunches, meditation and then some more Treadmill

Wildcard: one night of drinks (special events May 20th)

Week one: Went well actually, although stress from home helped suppress appetite.

Week two: Over 5 Lbs lost so far! (2.5 kgs) - STILL NO PASTA & BREAD - Wow!!!!!!!!!

MONTH: March (best month to be born!)

GOAL: To loose 6 kg (13.2 pounds)

PLAN OF ATTACK: Basically eat right (fruit, veges and small portions) and to work my arse off (excuse the pun!) on the treadmill..
emoticon Everything i eat - i need to think about how much time it will take on the treadmill to burn off...***It makes you reconsider that bad food i tell ya!***

I need to go back to my strict thinking that i used to have.. I was strict but i got results.

I have exactly one year until im 30 now, and i need to get focused and make my goal happen..

Plan of attack: Incorporate more strength training [Jillian Michael's fitness video, conditioning classes at my fitness center]; ramping up my cardio burn from 1400 to 2400 a week.

I'm done 1 lb so far, 3 to go!

I managed to loose close to 7 Lbs that time..


emoticon JAN - FEB Mini Goal - To be able to run for 5 minutes straight on the treadmill..

I can run on the concrete (pavement) but for some reason the treadmill really hurts my ankles!!

And i end up having to stop after a minute or so..

BUT NO MORE!!! By the End of Feb i shall be able to run!!!

Well here in New Zealand its NOV 1st tomorrow, so its the start of my Official mini Goal to loose 5kgs-11Lbs.

5kgs isnt that much really, its more so excess fluid coming off as apposed to real fat, so im not looking for a quick way to drop a dress size, Im after that lighter feeling that will give me the Much needed ENERGY to keep on going to loose the weight!..

I just want to get into action...get everything jump started. I don't really have a goal weight...but if I had to choose one, I'd say to get to my prepregnancy almost..which is about 13lbs.

good luck girl!!! I have a concert on the 18th (alice in chains and deftones) I want to lose 7lbs at least by then!!!

My April goal didn't get achieved very well because my doctors told me to rest more. I'm still in that resting mode...but only 18 days from my due date! I'm hoping that I can get into some sort of active routine once this baby is out!
