I had been wondering why these past several weeks (or almost a month now) I have maintained a heavier weight than usual (my usual I'm guessing is around 140). It's because for the past month, I'm doing strength training at the gym. I begin with cardio for 30 minutes, then I do several strength machines for my arms, legs, abs and back for another 30 minutes.
Not only have I not lost weight or inches - I've noticed that my arms are getting more muscular (a plus), my legs are slowly shaping up (especially my side hip fat!) and my butt is losing its hugeness.
So, I guess toning up and losing fat that way is better than nothing happening at all!
