I think you'll like the 305. I have had mine for a while. I now when I first got it I thought it was kind of bulky and it would be heavy on my wrist, but that has not been the case. I'll probably get another 305 or 310XT. I've liked it and Garmin Connect is a good place store your data if you're into that kind of thing.

You will like it. It is a neat toy. All the cool kids have one.

Thanks!
I pulled the trigger and got a 305 forerunner. Now I'm going to stand by the mailbox and count the seconds until it arrives.
I appreciate the input.

I have the MOTOACTV and it really keeps me motivated! If I noticd my pace has slowed, I can pick it right back up. I also love being able to see my splits when I am finished, and when a race doesn'y have chip timing at the start *and* finish, I can see what my time really was.

I have a Garmin Forerunner 305, and it has been well worth the price. Being able to keep track of my miles and heart rate has been invaluable to me. I looked at more expensive models, but for what I want (miles, pace, heart rate), this does everything I want. It's a matter of what you want to be able to track more than anything else.

I keep looking at all the Garmins (with heart monitors) out there.

Anyone have any thoughts or horror stories before I plunk the money down??

Thanks
