I saw groups doing what looked like Galloway ratios at the RnR Chicago Half marathon. I did not run this, just ended up in a hotel room on the race course when doing the college visit thing with my daughter. I don't think they were pace groups, for some reason I though they were Galloway training groups that had decided to run together. Not sure why I thought this. Did they have shirts to match maybe?

I had some local Galloway teammates there for the race. I can imagine seeing the pace groups working their way through - how awesome!

Congrats on a great run yourself!

I ran 26.2 with Donna today in Jacksonville, FL and enjoyed seeing the Galloway pace groups out on the course. I only do intervals infrequently now but I appreciated the opportunity to see the groups as they moved through the race.

I'm a person who takes frequent bio breaks so although I was near the 4:45 group for a long time, I ended up getting in just before the 5:00 group.

If you're looking for a half or full marathon tailored to Galloway intervals, I highly recommend checking out this race next year - I believe the date is February 17, 2012. Galloway himself assists with the setup of the training and there's a team tent for those participating in the program.

You can exceed what you think you can do.
