well i did it...i took a lot more rest than GERBIL...evidently my friends like to come around and like my status when they think i'll be in pain lol...43 likes giving me 215 pushups to do...woke up this morning and did the first 110 in under 1.5 hours...i dragged the rest out after that due to the trembling, and i wanted to complete them all, full pushups, no mods or bad form...but i did it and i'm proud of it!

I did something which got me wanting to ask how often you guys find yourself involved in impromptu challenges which boost your confidence etc.

A friend of mine posted a status on Facebook the other day saying that for every like on his status he would do 5 pushups and that those who were brave enough should repost it.

Well, I went ahead and took up the challenge. I stipulated that they would not be consecutive, but that I would do each and every push up.

Well, come to it and he has to do 90 push ups with the amount of likes he got. I had to do 175 with the likes I got.
I was a little stunned. I figured I'd have an amount similar to his and didn't imagine I'd have to do almost twice as many. But I sucked it up and stayed true to my word. I did them all in one evening.

17 sets of 10 each with about 5 minutes in between to rest and a final set of 5.
By the end my arms were trembling and I was forcing myself to get them done, but I kept good form, avoided injuries and actually did it. I was really proud of myself.

So come on, what challenges have you accidentally gotten yourselves into?
