Hello All~ (I'm honored!)
I was behind checking my SP mail, logging etc with the long weekend and all so I've reset my page for all the world to see :-)
So, here it goes...............I found SP while trying to find out how many calories were in some of my fav foods. My SP ID is actually the name I though I should have been given at birth, my birth year and how young I'll be on my next bday.
If I could just make it to 150 I'll be a happy camper, in my weight loss journeys (yes plural) I believe the lowest I've ever weighed is 148. My breaking moment was the last time I lost weight I gained it all + 20lbs (a total of 60 lbs) back and was totally disgusted with myself. No specific reason for my goal other than the "be healthier" to live longer and enjoy my family & most specifically my grandbabies! I'm currently doing a circuit training class, running and bootcamp. I love running -- I love the idea of looking back or even while driving and having a sense of accomplishment thinking wow I can run all the way from there to here! I stay motivated knowing that if I don't work out & eat healthy it may cause some preventable health issues, I'll re-gain what I've lost so far and in all honesty my brain just doesn't work well if I don't take the opportunity to empty it for the hour or so 5 days a week. I love reading and crocheting and have plans to start a container garden and begin composting. No, I have not read The Spark yet -- but it is on my 'to read' list.
