thanks for the advice, I'm leaning toward donating most and keeping a few favorites that way I have for when I do loose the weight but have space in my closet now.

I'd say it depends on if they are in style or something you would wear. It may be a better incentive to reach your goals. Being that you mentioned money is not something you have a lot of, I would try to find a tote and space to store for the short bit because you'll need those new threads soon.

Hey gang, I need some advice please. I'm going through my clothes and getting rid of (donating) things I no longer wear. I've come across quite a few items that are currently to small for me. Once I reach my goal weight I will fit them. Should I hold on to them for when I do or get rid of them and go shopping. I don't have much space in my small apartment and have less money to go shopping. I've read articles that say you should get rid of smaller stuff cuz it can be frustrating and be counterproductive to reaching goals. What say you? Keep or donate? What reasons are you considering?

Hello!
I live in NE Ohio. Where are you all from.
I spent most of the day with my mom (she's 86). We did the errands she had listed (bank, pharmacy, etc.) and then I took her to her weekly hair appointment and then out to lunch. Wednesday is "Mom's day" and I pretty much do whatever she wants to do.
It was a nice day and I treasure the time I spend with mom.

was suppose to be a walk at the YMCA called a 10,000 steps for 90 days. Considering I have a goal of 10,000 steps a day it was right up my alley! So me and 3 kids went and you know it's suppose to promote good health. They gave out doughnut wholes, pizza and fried chicken, soda and water.....Healthy what......ummmmmmm.....think I missed something but anyway I didn't eat or drink anything but water and the kids ate of course. They don't have to listen to the whole "a moment on the lips is a life time on the hips"!!!! Anyway it was decided that it was to hot to do the walk.... Are you kidding me??? Well myself and 2 of the kids did the walk any way. Then the 4 of us walked home!

walked all over for a good portion of the day with hubby, walked to lunch at the mall, around the mall, drove to dinner at Texas Road house and then walked all over Wal-mart!
