I like big oranges too but they seem more acidic some days. I think they are both good!
I will keep the focus today.

PINKGRANNY - I don't know why my mom prefers regular big oranges over clementines. Actually I don't know the difference.
I got my free copy of the ALL YOU magazine but haven't had a chance to peek at it yet.
Back to shoveling I go.
Have a great day all. Nancy

We all have so much to offer - what we have to say someone else needs to hear. I am truly grateful for the caring, supportive team we have. I also know it can be hard as a new member to feel comfortable in sharing - so lets all go to the main team page and touch base with a new team-mate.

I track my exercise on Spark, sometimes my calories, some in a journal, but I truly like the feedback on the Spark Tracker.
I bought the ALL YOU magazine that features Spark People and they have a good section on snacks. It is better than you think and still fits in the total calorie intake. I recommend the magazine for a shot of motivation. I will check out Monty's blog too.
I will work on finishing January STRONG!

I've been working on a show at our community theatre and had to rehearse for NINE days in a row, eating dinner at 11:30 at night and so my judgment has been way out of whack.
However, the rehearsals are over, so at least some of my stress is out of the way... I still have 3 more shows to endure... but I am going to work to put peanut butter out of my life. It's a great quickie meal, but hard on the hips. I gained some weight on this show... but I did learn something. If you're going to snack, snack on dark chocolate oatmeal cookies and fruit. I brought these treats to the cast and I'm thinking that when I look for snacks at work to stay focused, etc. that I'll bring grapes/blueberries in a cup and one cookie per day... the oatmeal will fill me up and the fruit will make me feel good. Also there's a new book out about having 400 cals at each meal, so I think I'll try that and see if I can stay in that range at every meal. And when I get near a bookstore, I'll consider buying that book. It's supposed to have easy recipes.
I track my fitness on the tracker pretty consistently, but not the food. I'll try doing that when I do this new plan.
It's another great challenge, Nancy!

I track my fruits/veggies and water on SP. But I use my WW journal for the rest of my food. I love the fitness tracker too - I use that every day.

I don't track clories here, just fruits/veggies and water. I also have a calendar that I use for my fitness, was doing it that way long before Spark, and I have a seperate one just for walking and steps. I have been at this plateau long enough, time to get back to losing rather than maintaining, but first I have some pounds to re-lose! I have gone back to eating something every few hours, it seems to work for me. I am woarking on eliminating ALL snacks after supper, and making EVERY snack a healthy choice.

There are so many options available on spark for us to keep track of both nutrtion and fitness, including this team and we are always open to ideas to keep it going and make it exciting for all of us.
I have been using the quick tracker but am going to start tracking more carefully now that I have reached a weight I want to stay at.
I also use a calendar as my walk/run journal, here I log any incidents or emotions I may be feeling and how walking has helped to decrease stress.
I know many keep track by blogging - Did everyone read MONTY's 3 year maintenance weight blog. It is full of hidden gems to make our walk successful.
How do you track your nutrtion/fitness??

I need to focus on having an afternoon snack of fruit. I plan for it, but skip it many times - which of course, makes me starving by the time I get home from work.

Hi great thought about snacking. I track and account for my food and it allows for healthy snacks. It is almost like having 4-5 small meals a day.
I can't eliminate any snacks because of my diabetes but I will defineately work on making them healthier. Most of them are healthy fruits but I could still use some improvement. I have to have 3 snacks a day

We can do this. I have been doing great eliminating gluten from my meals and now I will work on the snacks.
Will you make your snack time healthier or perhaps eliminate if need be. Don't pressure yourself - one day at a time.
