Your goals are - Check out the challenge this week on walking/running records. Do what you can. Keep it simple - don't get overwhelmed.
Check with the members below, hook up with one as a partner on the walk site, so you can motivate and encourage each other along. Since everyone joins at different times, it was hard to do it as a group. However the first of the year and the Spark Book is bringing lots of new team-mates , so you can start fresh with someone.

Ok, so I joined the site, my ID is 59294. Now is there a group on that site that I need to join. or are we logging in here? I am new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated. I set my goals to 5 miles of cycling and 5 miles of walking/ running a week. Not sure if this is a good goal. I just joined the gym about a week ago.

The team has been up and running for not even 2 months and a switch in team leaders on top of that. I am open to any ideas and suggestions to create in the future, should we get enough people interested. I should mention this did not hapen because we continually get new members everyday, so it would be hard to have a competition, BUT - I will sparkmail you on this!! Don't rule anything out!!! Keep that energetic excitement going!!!

I went to the web site and signed up. Took forever, even trying to "push" it through. Then I never could get the next page to load after setting my goals. I think this is a great idea, but in the time I spent trying to get just one page to load, I could have walked a mile.

There are 3 maps. One of the county we started in. Then a mid state one and finally the whole state. And your progress will be shown as a black line. The maps are very slow to load so have a book to read while you wait! I'm up to 37 miles since 9/1.
