I skied Killington on Saturday, and their snow coverage is simply amazing! They still have so much of the resort open, it's unbelievable. In fact, the areas they closed still have a ton of snow (as does Pico--it's a "back-country" skinner's haven right now); I'm pretty sure they just closed them so they don't have to run the lifts and open the lodges.

I think I'm done for the season, too. Sadly. Not a great season. We're thinking about going up to vermont this weekend one last day... if the snow's not gone!

I am done for the season. I had my last day patrolling on Mardi Gras this Saturday. Now it's time for backpacking, softball, paintball, disk golf, mountain biking, & mushroom picking!

I skied for part of a day at my local resort's last day. There were two thin (3' wide) snow strips leading to the main lift (the only one running). The upper mountain was still good with the expected spring snow, while the lower mountain had some really bare spots. I skied in shorts, although it was a bit chilly for that, but I wanted to get one shorts day in before the end.

I've got two more weekends planned at Grand Targhee before hanging up my sticks for the season. I hope you all manage to get a little more in. Take care and happy tracks! :-D

I skied on Sunday @ Sunapee, NH, and it's still pretty good- but melting fast.

It was great skiing - no lines at all - we skied for 3 hours & got in a TON of runs!

We skied last night at Pat's Peak in NH.

It is $30 for tubing & skiing from 3-10 pm.

We too all the neices & nephews at various levels & had a blast.

It was raining when we 1st got there, but then turned to snow & then stopped.

It was Hawaiian weekend - the whole place was decorated, staff all in costumes & a reggae band.

Great family fun & burned some serious calories!

Yes, Mt Snow has a Mardi Gras weekend this weekend, and then next weekend is a Monte Carlo weekend, complete with Poker tournament. I'd love to go, as I love poker and skiing both!

I hope everyone has fun this spring. Do the hills everyone skis have a Mardi Gras type party day?
