I skied Killington on Saturday, and their snow coverage is simply amazing! They still have so much of the resort open, it's unbelievable. In fact, the areas they closed still have a ton of snow (as does Pico--it's a "back-country" skinner's haven right now); I'm pretty sure they just closed them so they don't have to run the lifts and open the lodges.
I skied for part of a day at my local resort's last day. There were two thin (3' wide) snow strips leading to the main lift (the only one running). The upper mountain was still good with the expected spring snow, while the lower mountain had some really bare spots. I skied in shorts, although it was a bit chilly for that, but I wanted to get one shorts day in before the end.
I've got two more weekends planned at Grand Targhee before hanging up my sticks for the season. I hope you all manage to get a little more in. Take care and happy tracks! :-D
