I love the food grouping tool!!! What a great time saver for my "yogurt, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries" entry every day!

I found some new toys! In the nutritional tracker do you ever copy meals to another day? I do that for my breakfast all the time. The other day when I pressed the button at the bottom of the calendar the link 'do you want to make this a food grouping?' appeared. You press that link and it automatically makes the entire meal into a food group- no need to re-enter it into the food grouping area- Cool!

I also did a quicktrack yesterday for the nutritional tracker (I was avoiding the fact that I was eating out of control). When I did that I found the tracker at the top of my regular nutritional tracker today. So as I eat fruit and veg I can click the counter and little pictures of fruit and veg appear- it's also cool.

Some days I do well on random trivia- others it takes 8 questions to get 3 right!

Thanks again for posting that mileage tracking tool- it has inspired me to run more!

I think we *are* power sp users. If you stick around multiple months, rack up the minutes, rack up the points--I think you've learned the ropes and figured out how to maximum sp to your own benefit. I have to say, I think it's fairly user friendly and positive, and it seems like there are new tools all the time.

(By the way, Sarah, I signed up for the new boot camp because you mentioned it--I didn't know there was going to be a new one--and I definitely love the boot camp videos.... the short cardio and strength training videos are one of my favorite features about this site.)

I too love the recipe tools and frequently add my favorites in there.

I've not subscribed to the blogs much but I can see where that would save me digging to see what the updates are.

I like subscribing to blogs so I know when there's an update on the ones I like to follow. (I don't think there's a link I can provide for that.)

That was a very useful tool (for mapping routes). Thanks for sharing. I have saved it and hope to use it quite often to map runs and rides.

Wow! I walk all the time and I didn't know this was available. This is SO COOL! I am going to save this link in my favorites. Thanks! I love this place emoticon

Oh, you wanted a cool tool suggestion from me...
The recipe calculator is the one I use all the time. I don't save the recipe per se, just the ingredients so I can get the nutritional details. So obviously I don't send the recipe to SP, I just keep it for future reference. You can check out the tool at- recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calcu

I've been having a hard time transitioning to spring and while I'm pretty sure it's due to the extra 20-30 hours a week I've been working, I'm still going to do what I can to get motivated and inspired.

In my 5 months or so in SparkPeople I am constantly amazed at all the resources and tools that they make available to us. So many, in fact, that some slip my mind.

I'm going to try to post here each time that I find tools that are just really neat and handy and encourage you to do the same!

Here's my first tool provided by SparkPeople for us.

The Fitness Maps are located on the Fitness Page towards the bottom of the list of Fitness Resources. The tool enables you to put in a starting point street address and map out your running/walking/biking/groove moving route and then calculate the actual miles/calories etc. based on your time and weight.

Love it!

Can't wait to hear what you guys have found.
