Okay, those sound unbeatable! But I do have a couple runners up:
-My sister and I took a trip to Killington about 15 years ago. It was way below zero, and we didn't have good ski gear. So we ended up at the hotel, hanging out in the hot tub, for almost the entire trip!
-Two years ago, during our Spring Fling, it rained on us the entire day! But I was having so much fun that I stayed out anyway, in my Predator Jacket, which kept me nice and dry...
-It's really darn cold today, that's all I have to say!!

That reminds me of Spirit Mountain in Duluth,MN.

Huge note to self.... If a chair has a plastic wind guard... they have had some wind.

There was one day that I was on the lift with my brother and it was way too cold to be out there, and then the wind kicked in and blew the chair nearly sideways.

They closed the hill about 10 minutes later.

Brrrrrrr.....

snowboarding several years ago in negative 40 with the windchill. i don't remember how fast the wind was, but it was whipping. i was wearing a smart-wool face mask that would freeze to my face on the chairlifts, and then my sweat and breath would defrost it on the way down, only to refreeze on the way back up. it was really not fun.

For me the worst was the day we were skiing in late February, and were coming in a bit late, and it had been warm that day, but was freezing up, so under the trees it was turning from mush to ice. I was railing (yes, this was XC) and wanted to get out of the rails, as I stepped out, the tail of the ski caught on the ice, I twisted a 180, only my ankle bone apparantly couldn't keep up, and it broke! Ruined my Big Sky ski trip a couple weeks later too! Can't ski on crutches while waiting for the swelling to go down so I could have the surgery! I did get a massage at the spa though, so it wasn't a total loss.

Dirt skiing is the WORST!

Last spring we went skiing at Lutsen for their "guess we're still open" sale in late April. On one run the entire width of the trail was under water.

My ski boots are NOT water proof, but it sure was an adventure!

One spring we went to Shasta very late in the season. There was not much snow left at all. We went down a trail and it turned to dirt and we were stuck! We ended up having to take off our skis and walk up to get to a different trail that had snow. It was very frustrating!

Today while riding it went from just a moist cold wind to a little rain and more wind gusts, to a steady drizzle of freezing rain.

People were complaining, but I was thinking it was not so bad compared to the day it rained... and I mean RAINED on us all day at a telemarking festival in LaCrosse, WI.

It makes me wonder, what are the worst conditions you've been out in for your sport?
