My B/P was always low when I was younger. I remember that the OB commenting that it was in the normal range when I was in hard labor with my babies. I think I may need some rethinking about dosage or something because it has been on the higher side for the last several months--not out of bounds, just higher. Age is wonderful.

On another note, I am going to go ahead and put up the June thread for tomorrow!

I consider myself blessed. The only prescription med that I take is Voltaren Gel for my arthritis when needed. Somehow my BP remains normal without medication. It is really strange since all my siblings, parents, and grandparents were on BP medication by their 40s. I guess living with me was very stressful for all of them or else I'm an alien from Mars that landed here in a UFO as a baby! :-)

I'm off for a bike ride before the temperature breaks 80 degrees this morning. We've had highs in the 90s this week--typical summer, but strange after the 60s last week.

Have a great Friday and a great weekend!

FRIDAY!!

I also take Atacand for B/P. The combo keeps me well in control.

And I also take anti-depressives and anti-anxiety meds. And of course we can't forget the prednisone - and THAT has put 10 pounds on me! ugh.

I NEVER thought I would be taking so many meds, I've always been so healthy! until lately, lol.

Once I get this move made, I promise myself I will get back on a regular work out schedule. Watch this space!! LOL!

Have a great day!

Hi Jumpup,

My meds are an old type of anti-depressant that causes weight gain. As I go off of them, even slowly, I start to feel sadness and anxiety. But I am fighting it off! I am on other meds, too, that I think will be enough to handle my depression and anxiety. My doctor thinks so, too.

Humidity is the worst, isn't it? Thank goodness for the air conditioned spaces!

Good Thursday, all!

Oh, Janice - hope this med stoppage works out for you. I know I take some meds that if I miss a day, wow, I feel it! (especially a diuretic for high blood pressure! if I miss one day, my face and hands just fill up with fluid, LOL)

Today is worse than yesterday for temps and humidity. I have errands to run, so I will be spending some time at least in air conditioned spaces, whew!

Have a great one and stay strong!

I'm keeping it together, I think. I am creating a healthy lifestyle at the same time that I am slowly going off of some medication (doctor approved) but there are withdrawals that I don't like.

I'm hoping to stay the strong and steady course!!! emoticon

Happy Tuesday Evening to All!

warmed up today, but rained. Glad it held off for all those cooking out yesterday.

Went to Opthamologist today - vision is 'good', optic nerve is good - but the new resident wanted to look at my original MRIs and he thought that what he saw looked a lot like something caused by the thyroid, of all things.

Well, the big boss signed off on it, so now I have a referral to an Endocrinolgist. I am slowly working my way through all specialties, LOL! I have hypothyroidism in my family, so I keep having mine tested. Results are always normal, but the doc says, yay, that can happen. Great!

So that's me for the day.

Btw, I am normally, without glasses, blind as a bat, or 'a high myop' as they say in the biz, which is why I have to laugh when they say my vision is good....

Started the day with a 5k walk, then drove down to my daughter's house to relax and do needlework. My younger son joined us for dinner. It was a lovely holiday.

I debated lceaning off the table and chairs outside and then realized that I don't really want to eat out there! One chore down!! I did clean the grill this morning since it hasn't been used since last Labor Day, I think. I rarely grill--too much trouble for just me.

Happy Memorial Day, Thanks to all who have served and Gratitude for those who gave their all so we can have our picnics and bbqs.

Supposed to be a nice day today - not too hot, either, so that's okay with me.

Got no particular plans for the day - I'm hoping that sis and fam are showing up to help me get some stuff out of here, but I don't know if they are coming yet.

Tomorrow is daughter's birthday - I won't say how old she is going to be - let's just say I was 5 when I had her, LOL!

Have a Great Holiday Monday, all!

We're headed back to warmer weather again. It's actually in the 70s today and headed for the 80s tomorrow. At least it was still cool while we were cutting the inlaws' grass yesterday, so the black snake tucked himself away somewhere warm. We have been seeing him on a regular basis, so I'm glad I missed him yesterday. At least now the grass looks like a lawn instead of the tall mess that it has been this spring. We've had so much rain that it grows really fast, and we've only been there to cut it every 2 weeks. I'm looking for some time of sunshine and no rain so the grass can slow down!!

I hope everyone takes time to remember those veterans who have given so much so that we can be free. Have a great Memorial Day, everyone!

Well, I made it through the jungle and didn't see any tigers... we have bears out and about now (really) so I'm glad I didn't see one of them!!!

Today we are going to a greenhouse to pick up some flowers and plants. We are still getting frost overnight so they will be indoor plants for a while!

Looking forward to hearing about your forays for the day!!!

Good luck in the jungle Janice!!

It is a beautiful Saturday. I will have to take it easy in the sun today & make sure I cover up. All the leaves are opening up on the trees now - it is such a welcome sight! Maybe I should visit a greenhouse today.

Have a wonderful & safe weekend - don't forget to fight for your good health!

Barbara, I know what you mean!

I don't drink juice or soft drinks either. I'm a water girl, always have been. Celebratory and holiday glasses of wine with dinner, but that's seldom. I have bottles of wine in the house, but I always forget to drink it, LOL!

So that's a whole source of calories that I can't cut! (Makes me wonder how big I'd be if I did drink other stuff!!!)

When I look at my food journal, I realize my simple carbs are just out of control, That's what I have got to start working on!

Have a great Holiday weekend, All. Remember our war dead, and thank them.

Thanks for the info GARVCO. I decided to join that team. I usually do really good at losing weight when I don't drink - it's just a bunch of empty calories - but I use it as a crutch to relax after work. Unfortunately, I'm not ready to quit my 2 day a week job, LOL!

BGUMBA - so funny about the jungle adventure - ME TOO! Just that it will be with the weeds and overgrown shrubs that have our gardens looking scary. Oh and planting veggies and flowers that are overgrown in their starter pots!

I have had an exhausting 7 days with a college graduation, move out and getting "used to" living with a 21 year old DD back at home. I pick up DS from Navy on Sunday and he too will be home for 8 weeks....yikes all 4 kids home? They get along and they don't get along - never know what each day will bring. I intend to be out running and golfing as much as I can. At least 2 of them have jobs for the summer!

I have had a very successful last 2 weeks on SP - dropped 4 pounds. I am working very hard on controlling my wine intake. The SP team: cutting down the booze (calories) has been a huge support for me and I must say - it is working!

Enjoy your weekends.

Remember: Whenever you point a finger, there are 3 more pointing back at yourself. Take responsibility and lead by example.

My son ended up stopping by for a few minutes this morning. He had the day off, and decided to get breakfast at a local coffeeshop and come by. It is very funny--I remember when this coffeeshop opened, over 30 years ago, but I have never been there. And it is close to my house. He's been there a couple of times and likes it, and says it does good business--which makes sense since it has been there for so long!

Thanks for the explanation about tornadoes, BGUMBA! I find this stuff fascinating.

Well, it's Friday. Nephew's b'day is today, cousin is tomorrow, other cousin on Monday, daughter on Tuesday. That's a lot of Facebook messages to send, LOL!

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend, all.

I think I am spending it packing and moving boxes. I'll be glad to have the living room empty for now.

A tornado is formed when warm humid air and cold dry air meet, usually during a supercell thunderstorm. The reason the middle section of the US has so many is that the warm, moist air of the Gulf of Mexico and the dry Canadian air meet over a huge plain in the middle of the country. If you look at a physical map, you will see that the central section of the US is the only area in the world that has such a huge plain sandwiched between 2 mountain ranges on the east and west, a warm gulf to the south, and an Arctic air mass to the north. We frequently have funnel clouds and water spouts here on the East Coast, but they are much weaker, smaller, and shorter lived if they do touch down.

Today I'll be getting ready for a long Memorial Day weekend. The only thing that we have planned is getting the grass cut here at at the inlaws. Since the rain has prevented mowing for 2 weeks, I guess I could say we're going on a jungle excursion. emoticon

Good Thurdsday.

It's crazy isnt it? The tornadoes? It must have something to do with the topography of the country - and the weather, Mountains then Plains then Mountains again. And poor Moore (sp), OK has been hit by the big ones 4 times over the years. Guess I know where NOT to move to!

Say a prayer for all those who lost everything there, but have a great day, too!

I did some googling tonight on tornadoes. It seems so crazy that America is hit so heavily by the twirling monsters. The only thing I found out is that the US is hit 10 times more than any other area with tornadoes. In Alaska, we worry about earthquakes but the last bad one was in the mid 60s. My heart is heavy with the loss of life & memories that has been thrown at those in the path of that frightening tornado. I pray that God is able to comfort them.

We had sunshine this morning, but the clouds are beginning to roll back in. There is a chance of afternoon thunderstorms, and I would say from what I see that the chances are getting stronger all the time. Hopefully I'll be able to get outside for a little while before the rains come.

Have a good day everyone!

Wednesday Morning all!

My BIL's family is in New Orleans, sister lived there for many years - she is still cold, LOL. I love to visit - the music! the food! Love it there, but too humid and too many bugs for me.

My prayers are with the Oklahomans (and Texans from last week), too. I went to school in Dallas, and have friends in the area, fortunately, none in the tornado paths, but I always worry.

We're supposed to get some T'storms today - I really hope it breaks the humidity, I am dying!

Have a great day!

Barbara, I loved living in New Orleans when I was young, living in the city was great fun but after the kids I really loved living in a small town. I like living in a city now but I so miss living in a small town and would go back to that in a heart beat. I would have to drag my husband and my kids all live here in Chicago now so I guess this is where I stay.

I wish everyone a great Tuesday.

I'm thinking and praying for those suffering from the tornadoes in the midwest and pray they don't make it all the way to the east coast. There has been so much destruction in OK and adjoining areas already.

I'm a city girl.

The suburb I live in is a small city, densely packed, with practically everything in walking distance. We are friendly, diverse and just have a great time here. Pop is about 50k.

Can drive into Cleveland in 15 minutes, but except for when the Rolling Stones come to town - or the Cleveland Orchestra in at home, my city has it all. Now Cleveland is not huge city - especially over the last 20 years: it's lost about half it's population, but it is just the perfect size for me!

When I was young, I wanted to live in NYC. I would still love to live there, except - well, it's NYC, and way too big and fast for me, LOL!

The downside is that the Lake makes it kind of humid in the summer - and I'm with you Barbara - too much humidity is THE deal breaker.

Have a great evening all!

We officially have had the longest Winter ever in history! 232 days from the first snow fall to the last (hopefully). Some places got up to 9 inches Fri/Sat. The good news is that the sun came out & the temps are rising & the peonies are happy again!

I have loved living in a small town especially this one. Going to the grocery store or the post office can be a lengthy event because you are always catching up with someone. My husband's grandparents were original colonists of the area. My husband & I, his mom, & my 2 girls all went to the same high school. It was great to raise my kids with nearly their entire family living within a 40 minute drive of one another.

Visiting the cities are okay for short periods but I have not found the life there is too fast paced for my tastes.

I grew up with both! We lived in the country for several years, milked our cow, gathered eggs and had a large garden. My mom canned and made pickles, we churned our own butter and had chickens for eggs and Sunday dinner! It was a great place for a kid to grow up! My kids lived in town but it was a rural community so many of their friends lived on farms. They got to experience all of it. I just enjoyed the community and the friendship. They do love living in Chicago, I think the city is great for young people but I loved living in a small town.

City vs. country--I'll take the country. Hot climate vs. cold--I'll take the cold. I grew up in the mountains about 10 miles from town. My mom didn't drive, so it was a shopping trip to town either Friday or Saturday. Otherwise, my dad would bring home things that she might need. We had our own dairy cow, raised a garden, and raised beef and chickens. I can look back on the simplicity of that life style and wish people today could experience it. As children, we used our imaginations and whatever was available to create a lot of our own games. Now we live in a small town that is within an hour and a half of Richmond, VA and an hour or less to the cities of Hampton Roads (Norfolk, Hampton, Va. Beach, etc.) My husband loves the warmer, humid weather here, but I'll take the low humidity and cooler temps of the mountains any time.

Jumpup, Don’t leave the lilac bush, cut off a good size slip, get some rooting hormone. Dip the end of the slip into the rooting hormone and put it in a pot of soil. Keep it watered, not too much sun and within a few weeks it should root. I would take 3 or 4 pieces to make sure you get a good one. Make sure you take off any flowers and just have stem and leaves. The flowers will take all the energy the plant needs to produce roots. I have some beautiful lavender too, it is one of my favorites! I planted more this year so that bed will be mostly lavender and coreopsis. They look so pretty together!
Happylife, I just don’t think I could do that, I think the winter in Chicago is too long. I still give my husband a very hard time about moving here and it has been 15 years! I lived in New Orleans when I first started gardening and even years later miss seeing blooms by the end of February! I do love Lilacs and Forsythia but miss night blooming jasmine, sweet olive and gardenias!
Bgumba, I have some daffodils I need to separate too. I don’t think I will get to it this week
Hope everyone had a good weekend, and I hope you were able to work on some of your goals! We are in this together you know.

Barbara, I have lived in both, I do love the convenience of a large city, but I love the atmosphere of a small town. Living in a rural community outside of a city is the best of both worlds. You do have to travel to get to anything but it is not so bad. I lived in a small town about 30 miles north of Kansas City, MO and we could go shopping, out to eat or to movies but still lived in a small town. I really loved it.

Must be interesting to live in a small community like that. I have always lived near a major city, and confess that I would love to try something smaller.

God Bless you, Happy! I had a girlfriend who moved to - ooh I cant think of the name of the city, it might come to me - with her sister. Anyway, I knew Alaska wasnt for me when she emailed that they were taking the truck into town to stock up for winter, since the pass would be closing for the season soon. Uh, no thank you! LOL.

I give you lots of credit for sticking it out 45 years!! Of course, in truth, we have gotten snow in May occasionally in Cleveland. There have been years I wasn't able to get my garden in until almost July - needless to say, it doesnt produce much those years.

I have moved rosebushes in high hot summer and have them live! No one more surprised than me. My mom's name was Rose, so she always had roses planted.

When we were kids, my dad would take us fishing at a local small lake where we would catch lots of smaller bluegills (I wonder if there were any bigger fish in that lake! I never saw one.) We'd bring them home in a bucket of water and when they died, we'd bury them around the roots of the rose bushes. Seems horrible now - and cruel - but those roses always looked great!

Some of the bushes are still there, so I will have a heavy responsibility to keep them looking like they should. Mom will be watching!

Have a great Sunday, all!

JUMPUP, I live in Palmer Alaska (a small farming community about 40 miles North of Anchorage) & just yesterday it started snowing. We now have about 4 inches & it's still lightly coming down. I've lived here for about 45 years & have never seen it snow this late! I was looking forward to a little gardening this weekend but that's not happening!

My first house, I had a rose bush that was a collectors bush my mother had given to me. It was very established and I didn't think it would do well if I tried to dig it up.

Jumpup, I have some bulbs that need separating, but have been putting it off since the daffodils and fall crocus are planted together. I guess I'll have to dig them all up, separate them, and let one of them miss a season of blooming.

Oh, HappyLife, where do you live that nothing is blooming?

I hate to leave this beautiful lilac bush behind. I know it's late, but I am going to try to take a piece with me. It's a beautiful dark purple, really fragrant old old lilac and I want it. There is one at the place I am moving to (I am trying to stop calling it 'the folks' house'), but it is the light color and doesnt have nearly as much fragrance.

My mom also had a Mock Orange, but my BIL chopped it down - I don't know why!

I am leaving behind an awful lot of stuff that I will miss. It took me forever to get a nice lavendar established, and I spent a lot on interesting bulbs and plants over the years - I'll scoop some of those out when I leave, and I'm not sure I care that I will ruin the symmetry here! LOL!

Have a great day, all!

We've got nothing blooming. So far they say this is the coldest Spring on record. My delphiniums, peonies, iris, & lilies have all poked up through the dirt though!

My mom had lilacs in our yard. My brother now owns the house and the lilacs are now in a row about 15 feet long. I keep hoping that I can get some slips to plant in my yard, but am never there at the right time of year. I did start a mock orange, which is another fragrant flower that I grew up enjoying. The changing temperatures have kept it from having many blooms this year, so I haven't been able to enjoy the fragrance. :-(

When we moved into this house--almost 27 years ago--I planted a lilac because we had them when I was young and I just loved them. Well, California is not a good climate for them, so it has never done much. I get some flowers every year but it is disappointing.

Good Thursday everyone.

Well, yesterday was hot and humid as advertised, today will be a little cooler, but still humid. The kind of weather that gives me a headache that no amount of water will cure! Thank heaven for ibuprofen. "better living through chemistry"!

The lilacs are gorgeous and so fragrant!

stretching and a short walk plus the grocery store are on the agenda for today.

Have a great one!

Upper 80s today after that low of 39 yesterday. I live close enough to the coast to get the effects of humidity. I grew up in the mountains where temps were in the upper 90s during the summer, by the 70s with the humidity here feels so much hotter. Of course, when it's cold and humid it also feels much colder.

I managed to get a nice walk before the heat and humidity got bad today.

I lived in New Orleans for a long time and the humidity in the summer generally matched the temperature! It is not nearly as humid here in the Chicago area but you would think it was to hear people complain.

Barbara, I agree that humidity is big aspect of temperature! My DD went to college in Oregon - Eugene. I had to wear my winter coat there & thought it was colder than Alaska even though there was a 30-40 degree temperature difference. They say Alaska has the rainfall of a desert - lately that has NOT been true. The sun is trying to peak through the clouds & our temperature is above 40 for now.

So yesterday it was very pleasant, low-mid 80's, I htink. Today and tomorrow are high 70's. Just lovely.

I had my A/C serviced this morning, so when it hits those 100 degree marks again, I am ready for it.

And I completely agree about Florida, lol. I grew up in NY and never remember humidity bothering me at all, until I returned for a visit after living in Los Angeles for 10 years. The humidity was unbearable. We have horrendous heat, but it is dry which does make it a little bit more bearable.

Hi all, hope everyone is doing well.

The weather here is the same, it was 36 degrees Monday morning for the low and 91 yesterday for the high! Talk about a jump! It is supposed to be in the low to mid 80s today. Lots of sunshine which is wonderful. I love this kind of weather for sure!

The weather certainly has been all over the board this spring. The last couple days were downright cold. Today is going to be close to 90 - and rainy! Probably the best combination ever. Can you say Tropical Rain Forest? Ugh.

Not to offend anyone who lives there, but I don't understand Florida, LOL! And people who intentionally move there! Okay, lot's of sun, but so much humidity. That's the part I cant deal with. It get humid enough here by Lake Erie, thank you.

I have shopping and packing to do today. Will try to clear enough space on LR floor to spread out my mat and get some yoga in amidst the boxes!

Have a great day all. The Lilacs are in full song and I must go pick some NOW.

Here Comes the Sun!

Bonnie, we have the same weather issue. FOr the last few days it has been in the low 100's (! yes, I said 100), but it is cooling a mite. Not to 39 but I'll take 80 very happily!

I went to the gym this morning and my "bad" leg is not happy. I rested for a week while I was out of town, and I was feeling pretty good, but wow!

This morning I went to Sit-n-Stitch at church, then did some grocery shopping. Now it's time to get everything unloaded and put away. Of course, checking on everyone here takes first priority! :-)

Our roller coaster weather continues. It was in the 80s Friday and Saturday, rainy and cool Sunday and yesterday. Today we woke up to 39 degrees, and by Friday it is supposed to be near 90. Gotta love Virginia weather!

I'm glad to hear everyone is doing well and getting spring cleaning and planting done. I have a flower I need to set outside, but am waiting to make sure it won't freeze. (Maybe by July 4, lol) Of course, the weather has been so messed up here that the strawberry growers are suffering. I had wanted to pick some, but the weather has been too cool and rainy when I was able to pick. Without the heat and sunshine, the berries will be sour. Hopefully I'll be able to pick some over the weekend or next week.

Missed the gym yesterday morning, but made it today. It always feels so good when I've finished a workout and I know that it's done for the day and I've met my goal.

My SIL is the same way Barbara, so is my son! My son broke his leg when he was in HS, had to have surgery and could not do anything for most of a summer. When he finally could hobble around on crutches I was so glad to let him go! Hang in there, I hope the Dr visit goes well!

I do think that part of the problem for my SIL is that he is one of those antsy guys who cannot sit still. He would lay on the couch with his knee up and iced, but probably not as long as he should. He has a follow-up with the doctor today.

I have been cleaning the house but I am taking a little break because the mailman is going to deliver my held mail and I don't want to be upstairs getting cleaned up when he comes.

It is HOT! I know that it got hot while I was gone, and today is supposed to nudge 100. I have the awful feeling that this is going to be one brutal summer. At least we don't have humidity.

Hi all, hope you all had a good weekend! It is chilly here today but supposed to be in the upper 80s tomorrow! Such is Midwestern weather! I had the week off last week and it was so nice. I got my flower gardens mostly in, just a few more plants to get for a new bed in the back. I moved my herb garden and now I have a whole big bed to fill! I have lavender in it now, so I want to add some blooming plants that will complement that. I got my tomatoes in and my herbs, lots of flowers in the front bed, it looks so nice! I was actually ready to come back to work!

Good Monday! Hope all the mothers out there (and we have all nurtured something/one, whether a child, a pet, a plant or a favorite toy!) had a great day.

Barbara, let us know how your son's knee is! I have been worrying about him.

Hi everyone! Glad to hear everyone is getting their mammograms. I need to set up an appointment for a checkup and to have mine done. It's one of those things that I keep putting on the back burner while trying to prevent other fires around here. LOL

Barb, I hope SIL's knee is doing better. If he isn't keeping it elevated, he is going to have problems with swelling. Another thing that my doctor told me after the knee replacement was not to sit in a recliner. He probably isn't keeping it elevated or iced as much as he should!

We are back to cooler weather here, so I'm going to take advantage of it and do some things outside today. I was outside a lot Friday and Saturday and almost melted because the humidity was so high! LOL

He did do RICE, although he is one of those antsy guys who has a lot of trouble sitting still for long. When I left yesterday, the leg was still swollen but the tests had shown no evidence of clotting. He has a follow-up with the doctor tomorrow, so he can ask questions.

It is Mother's Day, so all you mom's and daughters who are behind in mammograms, please go ahead and take care of it. I have a very good friend who skipped one and after 2 years found she had breast cancer. Her sister also had breast cancer so she should have known better. It pays to get regular mammograms! Yes, it does hurt, after my 1st one I had to go back because they thought they saw something. They used increasingly small paddles each picture! OMG!! Those small paddles are painful, then they finally did a sonogram and that gave them the picture they needed to find out it was nothing. Just very dense tissue! I asked why I couldn't just have a sonogram and the technician explained that it is not good for an initial exam, it misses some kinds of things that a regular mammogram will find. Oh well! Since then they have the other ones to compare and I haven't had to go through that again.

OMG, Barbara! I certainly hope this doesnt turn into anything serious! Tell him to pay close attention and if there is any change for the worse at all - get thee to the er!

I had a friend who had an car accident years ago and he hit his head. No other injuries, but he went to er anyway because it was making him nauseated. Now, with all the attention paid to concussions, it wouldnt have happened this way, but they sent him home with a Dx of gastritis. Once home, he fell into a coma and had to be rushed back to hospital. He was in a coma for 2 weeks.

Docs, hospitals and er's are not perfect!

You have got to be your own advocate - after all, it's your body!

RICE, but I'm sure you know that.

Sorry about your SIL Barbara. I agree, a doctor should have given him some instructions to help bring down the swelling.

Just got back from Anchorage after picking up some friends at the airport. What a beautiful day for a drive.

Have a wonderful weekend & Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's out there!

Just once I would love to have one of the TV doctors who are so invested in their patients!!

My SIL had some very minor knee surgery this week. His leg became swollen and he called the doctor as he had been instructed because of the concern for clots after surgery. They took him into the hospital that evening for a test, after which the tech said he could go home and the doctor would call him the next day. So he assumed that there wasn't anything or they wouldn't have let him go, still......the next day, he finally called the doctor's office when he hadn't heard by afternoon. The doctor finally called when he was on the phone so it went to voicemail. The message--no concern, see you at your follow-up. Ok, except how about a little suggestion about the swelling? Geez.

I stopped getting mammograms & started getting breast thermograms. It takes thermal images of the breasts to screen for anomalies & vascular changes.

OH! How could I have forgotten! I have an appt for a follow-up mammogram today. So it won't all be packing and laundry. I will have to take time out to have my boob smashed with the little foot looking for something that they thought they saw on a regular mammo. Great.

I am still in the middle of treatment for that mass in my head - and they still don't know what that is - so this is just what I need!

I'd be more worried, but this happens every time I have a mammo. They see something they want a closer look at and I have to go back. Always something different, and it is never anything.

Here's a good tip I learned somewhere along the line: Take 400mg of ibuprofen about an hour before your mammo. Doesnt hurt as much!

Barb, I agree on the change in weather today. I'm planning a bike ride after lunch and may walk to the Y for strength training this afternoon. I'm looking forward to being in sunshine for a change.

In case I don't get back online before Sunday, have a great weekend and Mother's Day, everyone!
