I personally need a variety of foods to keep me going. I get bored with the same foods and will just not eat breakfast if it is the same thing everyday I also beslieve this keeps my system working to the best of its abality to keep the weight off. I have a variety at all times in my frige
I eat the same thing for breakfast every morning, a fruit, yogurt and grain, seed, nut mix. I love it, it makes me feel good and it's a no brainer for a brain-dead morning.
But if I eat the same thing every day for lunch and dinner, I start craving fast food! I even dream about going to Taco Bell, of all places.
I am in that place right now. I made a big pot of chili and a big pot of ham and cabbage soup that I meant to freeze before I realized I dont have enough room in my freezer. I have been eating them all week and am about to go NUTS. Dont want the food to go to waste, and they are almost gone, thank God.
If you are not TRYING to lose weight and the foods you are eating are not only easier, but are healthy, I would not see a problem with eating the same food every day.
If you WANT to lose weight and/or the foods you are eating are NOT healthy, you might want to explore some other choices. Try to select alternatives that are ALSO EASY, are healthy, and that you enjoy eating.
My personal choice is to eat a variety of different foods with different nutritional content, different colors, different textures, etc. Part of the reason I do this is because I believe we are not 100% certain exactly what we need to create PERFECT nutritional balance and to meet ALL of our needs. Therefore, by choosing a variety I stand a better chance of getting ALL of the micronutrients as well as the macronutrients.

Hi All I dont know if anyone else does this, but I tend to eat the same foods all week! Thomas thin cinnamon/raisin bagel with Laughing cow cream cheese/cinnamon Progresso soup or cuke salad and green pepper Morning star prime griller, sargento baby swiss slice of cheese,single serv. of brown rice,taco sauce! banana maybe popcorn
Its not like I am losing weight on this, its just easier, and I'm hungry for it! Lets hear your input please! Or ideas Please!
