If you are not TRYING to lose weight and the foods you are eating are not only easier, but are healthy, I would not see a problem with eating the same food every day.
If you WANT to lose weight and/or the foods you are eating are NOT healthy, you might want to explore some other choices. Try to select alternatives that are ALSO EASY, are healthy, and that you enjoy eating.
My personal choice is to eat a variety of different foods with different nutritional content, different colors, different textures, etc. Part of the reason I do this is because I believe we are not 100% certain exactly what we need to create PERFECT nutritional balance and to meet ALL of our needs. Therefore, by choosing a variety I stand a better chance of getting ALL of the micronutrients as well as the macronutrients.
