I had to put Insanity on hold due to injuries and heat. So now I'm doing bodyweight exercises and I'm on the 2nd week of Slim in 6

I did 2 different Coach Nicole's 10 minute workouts and walked my dog for 15 minutes. YEA!

I got in a walk with the dog yesterday and got to walk to and from work! I also took a walk with my mom but the is not exactly cardio for me. I just want to get her out and about.

Yesterday was my "rest" day. I still got in over 21,000 steps, but no other "real" exercise.
Today I did Day 8 of Insanity and the the strength exercises from Self magazine's challenge and I have over 22,000 steps so far today.

We caught a break today. It clouded over, teased us with some rain and stayed in the low 80's for the late afternoon. I just went and did a 2 mile walk and have over 29,000 steps on the pedometer.

We walked the Farmers Market for over an hour. It was HOT!!! We were at 101 at 11:00. Crazy!

Keeping up with Insanity and did Self's Slim down strength training. I'm also keeping my steps up over 20,000 except for Wednesday when it was over 17,000

We are finally going to cool down tonight! Walking can begin again. I walk to and from work and I hate arriving all sweaty so this week was a little bit of a bust but next week it is supposed to be in the 80s and that is perfect!

I have been eating lots of the fresh fruit that is available this time of year. I love peaches and cherries!!!

Went for a walk after it cooled down to 90 (also in west suburbs of Chicago)! Plenty of water, fresh fruit, italian marinated chicken breast. Hoping to get back to my regular routine once the weather breaks (also hoping for rain so I don't have to spend so much time watering the garden). Regular routine is 2 - 3 mile walks with my 4 footed friend, and strength training or videos. And eating lots of fresh veggies once they start coming in!

If it's to be, it's up to ME.

No strength training today but Summer seems to have finally arrived in Vancouver BC so I will be out walking at lunchtime with some aerobics and step work this evening. On my way to work soon and I will be having eggs whites, celery and MySoy cheese for breakfast.
