Somehow I stopped using Spark, but I am back now and doing a low carb diet. It's been a rough year, tore my rotator cuff and found out my hips are really bad so I need to think of ways to lose weight that don't involve doing most exercise.

I've been doing Weight Watchers online but I just cancelled today. I lost about 16 lbs or so and it did a great job of getting me back into the zone of conscious eating, which I think is a huge key. But I had slipped into no longer counting points (but still eating wisely) and simply using their weight tracker. I can do that here and more!

ACCOUNTABILITY IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS! Lap band a quick fix will fail if proper education, planning and support for the future do not exist: ex. Carnie Wilson, a friend of mine who ended up gaining it back plus more. Fad diets work but for how long! Can you really survive on them the rest of your life and what cost! The best diet I read is the one that fits into your life style. Read all you can. Be accountable to you. Track intake honestly. Build up to exercise. Start off slowly and work up. Develop habits that keep hands busy and free from food. Make your goals reasonable and attainable. Do not set yourself up to fail. Reward yourself along the way with some of your favorite things. By the end of the journey you will have developed a lifetime of eating habits that keep you thin. I hope to see you here often. Welcome!!!!
