Best advice I can give you, go on a light dose of HRT, it saved me and probably my marriage. Took the hot flashes away, and the anxiety too.

Read Psalm 25, it is a great Psalm to include in your life every day. Or go to Heart of the Word, and listen to their daily broadcast. Ron Mehl is great, he is no longer living, but truly is here in spirit.

I've lost 21 lbs this year not where I want to be in terms of the loss, but grateful for the progress however slow, I need to lose 120 lbs so every pound off gets me closer to health and hopefully pain free existence....

Back to Orange Theory Fitness after breaking a toe. The best work out I have ever participated in. Even though there are two groups- I t is like having a personal trainer. Go to any OTF in your area tell them Tay Percy sent you and they will give you a free trial.

I'm down 1 1/2 pounds this week, which will help me to stay motivated through the weekend. It's harder for me to limit my calories when I'm home because the food is right there! This weekend I'll focus on which foods I'm choosing. emoticon

Great Job mckatenh with the weight loss and that the knee is doing better. Knee pain is not a good thing at all.

I lost 2.5 lbs this week total of 6.5 so far. I am going to reach my first goal I just have to keep on the program.

I'm down two pounds. I changed up my exercise routines and committed to 64 oz. of water a day. Bingo! I hurt my knee a couple months ago so I had to hold off on high impact exercise. Last night I was able to go back to my regular kickboxing class and my knee seemed to do pretty well.
I was very pleased to see a difference on the scale this morning...tracking food, drinking water and getting exercise...it works if you do it. :)

I am having the very same issue..and when I say I have worked out..not kidding! I don't know why the scale does not go down. Today I am going to start drinking MORE water. I know on some days I don't drink enough, so maybe that is my problem..

Two pounds lost. Struggling....but keeping the faith.
Need to burn more calories, but foot injuries keeping me from feeling motivated.
Next Monday having a PRP done to hopefully correct the problem. Will be laid up for a few days.

I weighed 171.4 this morning. Menopause symptoms have kicked in big time in so many ways. My goal weight is 148. I have gained instead of lost over the past few months. Perhaps posting weekly will help.

Starting to lose a little bit. Sure is much harder than when I was younger. Menopause makes it much harder but am trying to tell myself that it is possible to lose the 50 lbs I gained and look and feel good again!

My "runaway" food train has been stopped. I finally LOST 5#''s instead of slowly gaining for the past 5 months.

Somebody tried to convince me it was okay to have a "winter" weight and a "summer" weight. But I feel like I work too hard to get down to where I belong to keep letting it slide through the winter months. Sigh...

I lost 10 pounds in 5 weeks. I started P90X April 1st. I've set a goal to lose 25 pounds by the end of those 90 days, which is June 29th. I don't usually weigh myself until the end of recovery week. For me that's another 14 days away. I have also lost inches from my waist, hips, thighs, arms, and chest. My clothes are fitting much better on me and less tight.

I finished the 4 week challenge and didn't lose the amount of weight I thought I would. On a better note, I lost inches.
My body is refusing to "give it up" but I realize it's probably due to hormones. I'm concentrating on the journey and not the end result. When I look over my weekly weigh-ins it shows a consistent loss.
I've noticed the shape of my face is changing and I'm more flexible and have less pain. I feel wonderful!! My sleep has improved also.
I fit into a pair of jeans I haven't been able to wear...down 1 size. So far I'm down 10lbs in 10 weeks.
I'm still not a fan of exercise but noticed also that my aches and pains are diminishing. I'm able to do the exercises longer and with better form. My balance has improved as I work on my core.
This to me is the "win". To live with less pain and be more flexible to make my day more enjoyable. emoticon

Thank you so much! The kind words are encouraging. Sometimes I feel like I must be doing something wrong. It's nice to remember and hear we all go through it.
I didn't gain the weight overnight so, I know i won't lose it overnight either.

ANGELZWINGZ4..way to go!...glad you've found something that is working for you...sometimes this journey is difficult. I hit a wall and the scale did not move for weeks...with a bit more motivation and determination I'm making it happen again..hang in there, you will too! emoticon

WOW what a difference 2 weeks makes! I re-read my last blog and forgot how miserable I felt. (Thank you for the encouraging words.)
Last week I joined a 4 week challenge to exercise and it's working. I'm a new woman. I'm on day 7 and have worked out everyday: cardio and toning. It's a slow go for me and the scale didn't move this week but I'm still down 8 punds in 7 weeks.

My clothes don't fit much different but I F E E L different. My mood is more optomistic and my abs feel tighter. One more week before I need to measure again. I'm dieing to see if there's a difference. emoticon

No loss this week..I think that I am still picking too much(grazing) in between meals..mostly after 3pm. As long as I am busy I don't eat , as soon as I sit I reach for a snack. My goal for this week is to get a handle on the pm munchies.

So the group total remains the same. 5479.3 +0=5479.3

Thanks CBRINKLEY401 for straightening the total out! Let's try to keep it going for her!
