Here is the list that I compiled for EA Sports Active 2 which includes all systems: Just copy and past the url and it should bring up the chart.

Hey group... I am New to Sparkpeople and to this group but not to EA Sports Active 2 and NFL TC. I have a list of all the events for EA Sports Active 2 for all consoles that I put toghether that I can post here once I figure out how...LOL. Also over at www.myfitnesspal.com (probably a bad word here...LOL) I am the moderator of a group for EA Sports Active group. We are currently running a little Halloween challenge to lose a few pounds/inches before we get to test all that yummy candy before we have to hand it out to the kiddos...LOL. I have just been posting all the stats to a spreadsheet that I made and posting it in the forum thread. I could probably run a challenge here as well. Just need a little bit to figure out how to fix that up on Sparkpeople.

I am currently in Phase 2 of NFL TC 60 day challenge and will move on to EA Sports Active 2 9 week hard after that. I have been using EASA 2 for over a year now... Sweet Sweet program.

Way to go guys staying ACTIVE emoticon

Hi All,
Just skimmed though the topic and say a few people put in leader requests, but that was a while ago. Is anyone currently requesting to be a leader, because as others have said it would be ashamed to see the group go under.

Hi All seems this team is in limbo from what i saw on the message board.
I bought an Xbox Kinect and just love the dance central workouts.
There are also a few great games that get one offt the couch.
I am pushing on 50 but dance like a teenager and the time seems to fly.
Much nicer than a boring treamill workout, I also have a treadmill but do not enjoy it.
Hope this team conitnues, I have just joined.
All current members, I have seen there is interest in leading the team, why not go for it, real encouragement is just sharing the journey, I am sure you would do a great job.

So I got rid of my Wii and got an Xbox 360. Which means I have to get EA Active 2 for the 360...guess what? They don't make it any more and I'm having a hard time finding it!

I've been mixing up my workouts mostly doing Jillian Michaels' DVDs the last few months. But now I'm wrapping up with those and will likely turn back to my Wii for working out again. Need variety!

Hey everyone! I used Spark People long ago and lost sight of my goal. Well, I'm back probably because I got the Wii Active 2 for christmas. Well, I still have yet to use it. But today is a new day. I am going to go get a shower and as soon as I do, I am going to set up my EA Sports Active 2 profile and get started with a new goal. I am trying to not aim so high for a weight loss goal, rather just actually excercise everyday. If I lose weight, great, if not, I'll atleast have more energy.

So, I'd love to meet some people on here that do EA Active 2 and have any tips, tricks or success/loss stories.

I hope to get to know some of you. I'm really excited!

I am using my wii too and I have the ea active personal trainer one and I am currently doing the 30 day challenge on the low impact then I will move up to medium and then hard impact. I do use other programs and groups so I do not get discouraged with getting bored doing the same thing all the time. so I think a mini challenge would be great I did co lead and lead other groups in challenges so if you need my help just ask. Glad you have taken this group and wanting to make it active again. emoticon

Well I'll chime in here too. I'm using the Wii and I would love to get into other things as well but I have committed to myself to do this 9 week challenge and I have to finish that before I can start doing other things. Just because I know if I don't complete it then I will feel like I failed.

I joined this group just recently and was disappointed to see that there was really no activity so I'm excited that maybe it can get going again. I think we all can use all the support we can get.

Doing other things is a good thing; it keeps you from feeling the workout is "routine." But abandoning it entirely definitely doesn't build results. So yeah, getting the fire to keep doing it while trying other things too is a good thing, and why we need to get this group built up and motivated to motivate others.

Sorry I didn't catch this post at the beginning, but I'll chime in anyway. I have EA Active 2 for the 360 & Kinect. And like the group - a couple months ago, my drive thru it fell apart and I started doing other things. It would be great to see the group get active, and help motivate. One of the things I was never sure about was who was using what game/system - knowing that would make it easier to set up workout groups for everyone.
Hope to see the group come alive, and I'll offer my input anytime if you'd like it.

Mostly just that while each game will have a different set of trophies, that I see certain games that have specific trophies for that system.

Ok I will have to research some then because I hadn't the slightest idea the games had more than any minor differences. One day I'll learn to not assume...lol. Thanks for bringing that up.
But the workout settings are the same right? You mentioned the you have a wii and a ps3. What were the differences you experienced? Anything suggestions, feedback, observations, etc help tremendously.

They are honestly; I was just offering an idea because I don't know what trohpies might be different from system to system, and what special features each system might offer that might make them vary enough for individual challenges. :)

What are the difference between the systems? i thought that the games were fundamentally the same. I have EA Active 2 for the Wii.
I think for starters, as long as you are doing your sessions, that is to be commended. With exercise in general, the battle for many is to just get consistent.
The end of the year can be tough for some too. For most, you are fighting to meet a goal before the "deadline" (Dec 31st) or you are waiting on Jan 1st to roll around so you can "restart".
If you could let me know what you may know about the differences in the game per system, that would great. I didn't realize there were any. Thanks!

Maybe even challenges that can be for each system, and some that are universal. Wii: Get "SUCH AND SUCH" trophy, for example. And for a universal, log "Such and such" amount of minutes?

Well if I do become leader, I would like to add a short challenge like a "Kick it into gear before the the new year" challenge. My whole thing this month has been "WHY WAIT?" why do we need Jan 1st to start moving. So maybe a two week challenge, 8 workout sessions... Dunno we'll see once if the switch happens or not. Fingers crossed, because now I am sort of excited.

I wonder, too, if there will be more activity after the new year...you know, the New Year's Resolutions and all that. I would love to have someone do challenges etc. I need to get back in the game (literally) and lose some weight. I appreciate having others to relate to!!!

Ok, well I don't know the first thing about leading a team, but I hate to see new members and current members just being left high and dry. I threw all my anxiety to the wind and put in a Lead request. I figure if all I do is check in and welcome new members and do my best effort at setting up a challenge, well then that is probably way better than what has been happening. It says the leader has 3 days to respond or the switch is automatic.
We'll see what happens.
I hate to see people pay there hard earned money for a game and come to SP thinking they can get support and get none.
I think with just a little enthusiasm, we can liven this place up :o)

I think even just seeing the "YOUR LEADER LEFT YOU!" (or whatever it says) is sort of discouraging. If you have ideas, let's get them out there so we can try to put some umph back in this group. There really isn't another EA group with this many members, would be a shame for it to just dry up.

I would really like to get this group up and moving again too. I use the Wii and PS3 and there are so many games for us to discuss using, so many challenges we can set and so many stories to share.

"Nobody important? Blimey, that's amazing...in 900 years of time and space I have never met anyone who wasn't important before."

Anyone have any ideas? There are many members, but the group fell apart. I just started back with EA today, in fact. I'd lead but I don't know the first thing about motivating others and setting up challenges and such.
What is the consensus?
