Okay team... I took a couple of months to work with Your Shape Fitness Evolved and WiiFitU. On March 31st I will be workin' out with NFL TC 60 day challenge on easy level.

Hope others will join in and post there efforts here.

Finished up my 9 week challenge at the end of January and now am working with Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2013 on the WiiU. Also a great program. Using YSFE 2013 through February. Going to check out WiiFitU in March.

I am through session 22 of 36 on my EASA2 program...Woohoo! I am actually caught up from the holiday which is nice. On Feb 1 I am going workout out with Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2013. Then it is on to NFL Training Camp. Bring it ON!! Going to start swim training in March so we shall see how that goes.

So at this point I am through 12 of 36 of EA Sports Active 2 on the Wii. I missed all last week so I get to try to make that up as well as well as this week which means about 50 min workouts instead of 25 which should be fine. Time to burn off some of those Christmas cookies...LOL. I did run 3 miles on the 26 and 27 in my new shoes Santa brought me. It was a little chilly but worth it for sure. Have a sprint triathlon I am focusing on for 2014 so gotta keep up the training.

Did some workout ketchup tonight. Did my Friday lower body workout then did my Monday Full body workout. Got through it all and feel great. Let's see if I can stay on track for a few days. According to EASA2 my heart rate recover is 62 seconds. Will be travelin' the next couple of weekends but still hope to get a couple runs in.

Happy Monday!! Survived the freezing temps Sat. & Sun. Suppose to be in the teens today, so might be able to get a walk in. Did a 30 min run on the WiiFitU on Sunday then went bowling. Today I continue with week 2 day 5 of EASA2.

Yesterday...began the 9 week challenge on Easy. It is time to get back in gear and get Active once more. I have been kinda lazy since I conquered my first half marathon. Going to start on Easy and work through the stages. I started with the Fitness Tracker and had a Heart Rate recovery of 59 sec. Though that was pretty good. Those foot fires are a bit easier now since all the running, but still challenging for 90 sec straight...LOL

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! Let's be Active in December team!! Keep up the great work everyone!

Have got the WiiFitU and am having sooo much fun with it! This week I am going to iclude workouts from EASA2. Have done these exercises for awhile so looking forward to it. Ran 6 miles today with hills... so I keeping up with the running. Workin' on a Triathlon for next year so gotta stay as fit as possible. Hope everyone is staying Active and healthy. Keep up the great job team.

Had an awesome day today. Went running for the first time in 2 weeks and it felt awesome. Ran 4.5 miles along side my wife who was cycling. Before that we walked 2 miles and all during the Corp Cup event at the YMCA *sings tune*. 13.1 mile run coming up next Sunday. Hope everyone had a beautiful day.

Went 12 miles on the Mickelson trail... 6 miles out and 6 miles back. Also did a little highway cyclin' since there was a train on the tracks keeping us from going through Edgemont so we cycled over the bridge which added a couple miles. Was a beautiful day and the country side was breathtaking.

Finished my 9 week session with EASA2. Okay...I am gearing up for July. 7 mile long runs...Speed runs...Hill runs and Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2013 -- 4 to 5 days of the week for 30 to 45 mins each session. Going to keep this going. Feels great to have gotten this far...that starting line to that half marathon is getting closer. Have a Run or Dye event on the 27th which my wifey and I participating in...looking forward to that. Great stuff happening.

This morning ran 5 miles at 10 min mile pace. Then walked 2 miles to work and then 2 more miles at lunch. Going for 10 miles plus today. Then doing workout 36 of 36 of NFL TC tonight. It is going to kick my butt, but in a good way :)

Some of the exercises use one of those stretchy bands which may have come with the game. You can tell it you are using the stretch band or dumbbells during setup. You do not need to use dumbbells though. Happy Wednesday!! Here's to a great day of Health and fitness.

I started slow with the Cardio Kick start challenge on Easy Medium and Hard and then worked my way into the 9 week challenge. As I go through the challenges I like to increase the dumbbell weights a little bit each time to give myself new challenges. So far that is working out good. I started at 3 lbs and am now at 14 lbs. Keep at it and good things are bound to happen. Good Luck CHRIMSONFYRE. I look forward to hearing about your progress.

If the sensors are not detecting you while running try raising your knees a little higher. I am still working out but not yet again with the Wii. Have a long Christmas break with lots of opportunity. Have a great Christmas!

If holding a plank for like 30 seconds is considered easy, I'm scared of what "hard" is! Which is why I'm glad I started with easy. I found day 1 slightly more tiring than day 2. But Instead of doing another trainer generated workout, just the Cardio Kick Start program is all I could muster. Still glad I did it though. Growing to like that resistance band.

Awww... those Mountain Climbers. Are they fun or what...LOL. They started out to be the event I dreaded to do, but now for some reason I just want more. When combined with pushups and straight arm planks...that's when it gets interesting for sure. My arms become jello emoticon

The sensors seem bad when it comes to fast kickups for sure.

It doesn't like to detect me when I'm running, and making me do mountain climbers is pure evil, but otherwise no complaints.

I have the ea sports, just started the more workouts (bought 2nd hand) & after the 6 week challenge plan to try the ea sports 2 that I bought 2nd hand also.

Chose a Clover for my new granddaughter Clover

Awesome to hear it HAPPYDEM. Like the cheerleader that's cute.


Alright... a new goal I am working on is to complete the Trail Blazzer (132/621), Pedal Power (142/621), and the Shred it (121/621) milestones. I have been at this for 69 weeks now and those are my totals so far in the brackets... Have a little ways to go yet. Then after those 3 milestones I need to figure out how the heck to complete the fitness sampler milestone. I thought I did all the exercises at least once, but maybe not... perhaps a systematic approach will prove useful in this case.

Sorry to hear about the game being out of stock, but sounds like you found another one on Amazon. I have had good luck with Amazon. For the challenges we just work at our own difficulty levels so everyone can participate.

And speaking of participating we will have to see if there will be others to join the challenge.

I would like to see at least 5 or 6. emoticon

There is still some time before the new years so we shall see what happens.

Meanwhile if you want to see an example of a spreadsheet from one of the challenges check out the Halloween challenge. The links there to the spreadsheets should still be working...I hope.

Also I frequent myfitnesspal.com as well and have a group dedicated to Active 2 as well.

So Here's to many fun and challenging days ahead.

Gotta get myself phsycd up for my workout tomorrow :) Looking forward to it.

Ugh! Got an email this morning saying they really were out of stock of the game. I ordered one from Amazon now though. They usually deliver fast, so we'll see. But when I get the game I might be down... If its a challenge those who are just starting out its the game can do'

Okay group... I am getting fired up to setup a New Years Challenge. I know it's early in December right now, but the time is going to fly right on by I am sure of it...LOL....sooooo...WHO'S GAME. And if you have any ideas for a challenge lets hear em. I was thinking about tracking weight, waist, calories burned, step counts (if you have a pedometer). Something to think about as we close in on the New Year. emoticon

Welcome HAPPYDEM it is exciting to hear that you are getting this program. I have been using EA Sports Active 2 for almost 69 weeks in a row now. I will hit that milestone at the end of this week. Awesome program. Maybe this is cause to drum up a little challenge. I have kinda thinking about starting a challenge come New Years so I can shed some of these Christams goodies...LOL.

How's everyone doing?

Get to do workout 32 of 36 of EA Sports Active 2 tomorrow. I am working on the Hard level and it is trying to kick my butt, but I think I am holding my own so far. I am guessing next week (final week of this 9wk session) it is going to throw everything it has at me so I hope I am ready.

LuckyDuck - Thanks for helping us get through November and Turkey Day with the November Challenge. emoticon

Head Cold is all but finished. Just have a pesky cough now, but not to worry...

Tonight was workout 19 of 36 (or the 3rd workout of week 2 of phase 2)
EA Sports Active 2 was on fire tonight... 4 sets of Mountain Climbers (not in a row...yet), there were a few sets of Straight arm planks (had the legs elevated again on the palate ball...need to be careful doing that...LOL), and lots of running in place thrown in there. Awesome workout. Looking forward to tomorrows workout.

For Today I did day 3 of the Cardio kick start program. which lasted about 30 mins With some Wii Fit activities for another 30 mins. I think I'll some Zumba in a bit. emoticon

Got in a 10K on this beautiful Sunday. Ran with a friend which was very enjoyable. Ran the 10K in 62 minutes. (also I have been fighting with a head cold, but the rest of my body feels great so still doing the running and strength training. Maybe it will help get rid of this cold.)

Also survived Phase 2 week 1 of the 9 week Hard program of EA Sports Active 2. emoticon
Definitely more challenging (as it should be) than Phase 1, so it is kicking my butt in a good way.
