Linda, I am sorry for your loss of Simon a year ago. I know many others here join me in saying we know how you feel. I believe with all my heart that Simon is at the Rainbow Bridge playing with my Micky (childhood pet) Taffy, Tyke, Sandi, Snowball, Tiger and just this past March, my Thor. The good news is that we sill see them again one day and never be apart from them again. They are all healed and playing pain free.

A part of you will always miss Simon, Linda, and no matter what happens in your life you will always remember!!! I know he is pain free and enjoying our furbabies at the Rainbow Bridge. Try to smile when you think of him...it will help a bit.

I have really been missing my Simon. It has been exactly one year since I had to make the sad decision.
On the bright side, Simon hated change, and he hated boxes and moving. This past year I have had to do both, I moved twice, once to stay with friends until my disability pension came through, then again a couple of months ago I was finally able to get my own (rent subsidized) place again. My friends could not have let me keep Simon with me, so he would have had to go to a boarding kennel, and I know from past experience that he hated that....
So with the changes taking place in my life, I guess it was a good thing that he did not have to endure it..... It still hurts though.
I sure hope he is playing happily around that bridge and enjoying himself without any pain.
