Linda, I am sorry for your loss of Simon a year ago. I know many others here join me in saying we know how you feel. I believe with all my heart that Simon is at the Rainbow Bridge playing with my Micky (childhood pet) Taffy, Tyke, Sandi, Snowball, Tiger and just this past March, my Thor. The good news is that we sill see them again one day and never be apart from them again. They are all healed and playing pain free.

" My goal is to live the truly religious life, and express it in my music. If you live it, when you play, there's no problem because the music is part of the whole thing. To be a musician is really something. It goes very, very deep. My music is the spiritual expression of what I am--my faith, my knowledge, my being." by John Coltrane

I am sure that Simon is playing at the bridge with all of our fur babies. None of them are in pain or suffering. Simon wants you to be happy and to remember him and know how much he loves you.

No matter how devastating an event, I truly believe that for every door that closes...a new one opens. You just have to be willing to see it and open it.
A part of you will always miss Simon, Linda, and no matter what happens in your life you will always remember!!! I know he is pain free and enjoying our furbabies at the Rainbow Bridge. Try to smile when you think of him...it will help a bit.

Hi Linda, I know you are still missing Simon, it gets a little easier as the years go by but we never forget. I'm sure he is up at the Rainbow Bridge playing with all the other furbabies.
Hugs to you,

Have a wonderful rescue named Zoey!
I know that time does make it easier to live with but it doesn't take away the pain of missing our fur babies.
Simon sounds like he was a great companion and I'm sure he is playing at the Rainbow Bridge pain free.

I have really been missing my Simon. It has been exactly one year since I had to make the sad decision.
On the bright side, Simon hated change, and he hated boxes and moving. This past year I have had to do both, I moved twice, once to stay with friends until my disability pension came through, then again a couple of months ago I was finally able to get my own (rent subsidized) place again. My friends could not have let me keep Simon with me, so he would have had to go to a boarding kennel, and I know from past experience that he hated that....
So with the changes taking place in my life, I guess it was a good thing that he did not have to endure it..... It still hurts though.
I sure hope he is playing happily around that bridge and enjoying himself without any pain.
