LOL...well, he should have just saved himself, and more importantly his wife and child, the embarrassment...such a waste of a decent politician(even if he is a troll in other areas)

Hmm..good question..perhaps subconsciously he doesn't want to hold office, but feels pushed into it? Performance anxiety? LOL..

A friend on another board has an interesting view of this..she feels that his actions are subconsciously deliberate self sabotage. the more I think about it, the more I believe she is right..

I couldn't resist sharing this, it started going through my silly head while washing dishes the other day.
Sung to the tune of the hot dog commercial: emoticon

Oh I wish I was the New York City's Weiner..... 'Cause everyone would see a lot of me! emoticon

Well, Washington elected a crackhead mayor twice, so anything is possible...I actually liked Anthony's politics(notice I refuse to use his last name, LOL) back before all of this crap started...I thought he was one of the "better" politicians...very sad that he couldn't keep it in his pants and didn't learn his lesson....his wife will leave him soon...he should have waited a lot longer before launching a comeback, which he obviously isn't prepared for...idiot

Why not? He's flashed it everywhere else.

Maybe childhood trauma due to his name is Boehner's problem too? Something sure made him a sour guts gumsucker!

Right on, DEELYNNE1...wicked poor judgement and proof positive Weiner isn't too bright and doesn't keep his word. However..SC re-e;elcted Sanford, who went AWOL to "hike the Appalachian trail" a short while back, so there ya go!

You raised a good point there, Bridie! In any case, I figure that anybody who's dumb enough to get caught taking pictures of his own underwear-clad weenie and sending them out over e-mail, then apologizing for it and promising it would not be repeated, and then not only doing it again but doing it more explicitly (without the underwear, according to John Oliver on the Daily Show) is too stupid to vote for even if I do agree with most of his politics.

Do you suppose childhood trauma caused by all the kids in school making fun of his last name caused this particular creepy little addiction of his? Bwahahaha..what a tool..

Y'know, San Diego seems close to having an open mayoral spot soon (I hope!) and it looks like Mr. Weiner (the most appropriate name for a politician I've ever seen, by the way) might be a good fit. Or maybe I should start referring to him as Mr. Danger. Good grief! How do we make them all go away?
