I really don't want perfect strangers deciding what my religious views should be. I appreciate a friendly greeting, but choose when and where to discuss religion. I don't want it in schools or government, though I'm sure that being a Christian does contribute to my being a bleeding heart liberal and proud of it.

Totally agree, Carol. And I wouldn't take offense if someone wished me happy Hanukkah, even though I'm not Jewish.

I don't understand the whole "War on Christmas" thing anyhow. If Target wishes me "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" how is that war on anything? I thought Christmas was about the birth of Christ, not shopping with the appropriate background music.

I still don't get the connection, but it makes me feel saner that I can't relate to their reasoning.

Stories about Billy "O" are REALLY only "newsworthy" if they are about him "N O T " making an ASS of himself! Otherwise, they are just the "SAME SH*T DIFFERENT STORY"!
