Hostess has been loaded down with debt from private equity firms for years..I find it laughable that they blame the union for this closure. The product is not the light textured nice tsting treat of ouyr childhoods either..it's rubbery and loaded with chemicals. A loss to the workers, and for that I am more than sorry..but no loss to the taste buds or to nutrition.
Too funny! I haven't eaten Hostess is years because I developed gluten intolerance in 1995. My husband loves them. We went to the grocery store this evening to try to stockpile them, but the store was sold out. He may have to switch to Little Debbie Crap Cakes.
Do I dare disturb the universe?
We must risk delight.
He is probably part of the reason they are shutting down in the first place...if folks actually had bought the products, they probably could have sustained their business...sad

Well it is kind of sad to think the indulgences of my childhood will be gone. However a presidential petition is a bit much.
