Calling someone a "slut" then backpedaling, I didn't mean for her to take it personally. I don't even know where to start here. Even more telling to me is the tepid condemnation of a few Republicans following Rush's remarks. To this day Republicans fear to cross Rush.

If there was any justice in this world his sponsors would have dropped him like a bad habit a decade ago for "Feminazi" Equating people who want equality and fairness for woman to a movement that lead to genocide against Jews and other "undesirables" is already beyond the pale in my book.
I don't know if you've read the columnist, Kathleen Parker. She I think, would be called a moderate Republican. Her recent column on Rush Limbaugh's latest scummy tirade, is a denunciation and also, pretty damn funny......
The denunciation: "Who’d have thought that Rush Limbaugh would become the great uniter in this divisive political season? Indeed, he has united decent people of all stripes and persuasions with his vile remarks about a Georgetown University law student."
Reporting Rush's more heinous quip.....“So, Miss Fluke, and the rest of you feminazis, here’s the deal. If we are going to pay for your contraceptives . . . we want something for it. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch.”
The damn funny: "The image suggested is equally degrading to Limbaugh, given his obvious familiarity with “watching,” and invites unflattering speculation. To wit: It is entirely possible that Limbaugh himself never needed contraception in college, but virtue in the absence of opportunity is hardly a moral triumph."
"Rush Limbaugh issued an apology Saturday to the Georgetown law student he branded a "slut" in three days of attacks, after she argued to Congress that the expense for her birth control should be covered by her employer's health care plan.
He said he "did not mean a personal attack" on Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown student.
"My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices."
Also from the article...........
"Thursday night, a bomb squad was called to Limbaugh's house to investigate a suspicious package that was determined to contain nothing harmful. Limbaugh said on his show that "it would send chills up your spine if I were to tell you what the package actually contained."
