Anyone here familiar with the songs from Camelot? This dude's theme song should be "What Do The Simple Folk Do?" cuz it's painfully obvious he doesn't have a clue! No grasp at all of the difference between genuine necessity and what would be unimagined luxury for most of us. Kinda like Marie Antoinette when told that the peasants had no bread. This class warfare being waged aginst the wealthy that the GOP has recently been hollaring about? Hmm..there's class warfare all right..it's being successgufully waged by them and their cronies aginst the middle class, tho..right concept wrong victims. .
Sounds fishy. Is the $6.3 million revenue, gross, or net? What is his personal income, interest, capital gains, etc.? If he is going to use himself as an example of why rich people can't pay more in taxes than we should see his tax statement and his personal income, dividends, capital gains, list of properties etc.
I'm always amazed that so many rich people think they became successful entirely on their own by their own virtue and owe little to the society that made their success possible. They and other people like them are honest hard working salt of the earth Americans and anyone less successful is an unworthy, shifty layabout.
But Penny, Dear..you just don't understand..he cannot possibly spare one extra dime to pay for the running of the country that's been so darned good to him and his loved ones. They all NEED enough to take good care of 8 poorer families, every penny of it, doncha see? You don't? me neither..
If my net income was $400,000 I doubt I'd be whining. I also doubt that his net income includes perks and benefits he give himself and possibly his spouse and other family members as part of his business ventures. That's the way the game is played.
