It is just so disheartening to watch the Dems run scared all the time. Let's not do the right thing. Let's protect the next election. We wait so long to finally elect a majority and then what? As Barney Phife always said, "Nothing but heartache!"
As before, I don't really care about the photos per se, it is the hiding and secrecy of them under the guise of "protecting the troops" by these two mediocre Senate partisans, to hide and keep secret embarassing, illegal and criminal things done in the name of the American people. It is unprecedented to pass a retroactive law to achieve it. I wish someone would leak them out like the Pentagon papers...these misguided jerks. I wish I could beleive the House would not be frightened into voting for this piece of crap legislation. Watching how poorly Congress and our "democracy" works is a form of torture.

I know a lot of y'all disagree with me and the ACLU that the photos of detainee abuse NEED to be released. Well Joe the LIEberman and Linsdey Graham Cracker have just made sure that prosecuting Rummy and Cheney will be nearly impossible. Unless Congress defeats or delays this bill, it will become a law. Then it will be a super rough battle with the Supreme Court to use these photos as evidence against some of the worst people in the previous administration.
