Another great way to lose weight is to have a partner! On weekdays I work out with my mom and on weekends I workout with my hubbie! I'm not losing much weight, but I'm losing inches, which is just as important!!

Hey! This week I haven't gone to the gym yet...I'm busy doing a graduate class, but I will go tomorrow for a long workout.
As far as exercises for the upper back, there are certain machines that target your upper back. There is an article called "Wedding Dress Workouts" It should be listed on the knottie team page. If not, let me know and I'll give you the link for it.

Ran for 2.25 miles today! Been a while, but felt great! Does anyone have any suggestions for their picks for best toning exercises for uppper back and chest/armpit area? Don't really want anything hanging out over the top of the dress! Not pretty!

I've lost more weight in the past two weeks than I had been using it. But it is definitely not my main source of cardio.
I walk 30 minutes everyday at work.
I do some of the videos on here, I do walking some evenings for like an hour along with jumping jacks to get my heart rate up a little more, and if my knees aren't doing too bad I run.
I use it a couple times a week and I always do at least 40 minutes of cardio then go to the other things.
I like the jogging in place on there better than a treadmill. But Hula and boxing are fun.

My favorite for now is the hula...it's a lot of fun! I did a little jogging....even though it feels weird to do in place. The winter sports and soccer are fun. I tried some yoga steps, too. Have you lost weight on it? Is it your main source of cardio?

You think you are sweating now! Wait until you unlock some more of the cardio! The 11 Minute Run and Super step aerobics is great! And I can't believe that super hula hoop is such a work out! I didn't expect to sweat that much either!

I just tried Wii Fit for the first time today. My sister brought hers in and it was a lot of fun. I thought that I wasn't going to sweat, but I did! I did over 30 mins of cardio,etc. It wasn't boring! I'm really considering buying one myself :)

So last Friday we got the Wii Fit and I’ve used it twice now and love it. I can’t believe it. I absolutely hate video games but I do like dance dance revolution.
To tell you how I am with Video Games last night was my second time using it and my fiancé has a stack of things vcr, video systems altogether and piled up and he tells me to turn things on myself. So I’m like, “Is is this button?” He’s like “honey that is the X-Box!”
Anyway on top of it all I just joined the Wii Fitness Team! I can’t believe it I’m super excited about a video game system!
But I do love using it. Of course it is not our only form of exercise, but I think when we are married (and it is at my house because now it is just at his) it is a way for me to get at least some cardio in and stay more active during the winter. So I am happy and excited about that.
Last night I did 65 minutes 40 minutes of cardio and the rest ST and Yoga. I think next time on Sunday when I work out I will do some of the balance games.

Thankfully my mom is giving us our gift early, $1000 so that will help with some of it. However it isn't all that good because that is money we won't have for furniture after the wedding.

On your homepage on the left handside with all the personal information there is a space for my streaks. Click on it and it will take you to your other goals page and you can have your other goals count how many days you have completed it.
For instance if drinking 8 glasses everyday is a goal you have then it will track the days you have completed that.
It will also appear on your sparkpage I will try to print screen it for you.
I'm surprised they haven't sent us an email about it!

I'm excited. I stepped on the scale for the first time in over a month this morning, since my father passed away, because I haven't been good at exercising, I thought I had gained but I still lost 6 more pounds bringing the total to 22 pounds! I've never lost that much before when I've tried before. I know I have a long way to go still but I am SOOOOO excited!

Back from several setbacks and ready to do this. I'm motivated to keep trying. This is the time to do this. I exercised alot while at a conference but either it hasn't shown on the scale yet or it turned to muscle. But I'll keep trying. I'm back up to 218.
