Well GLC, maybe you have to be careful in that area; I fully understand.

But think about how the extract is made and how it is used. You can simmer it for 20 minutes (very low) and that will remove most of the alcohol (not all of it, but most) and then you only use a few drops of that to sweeten stuff.

If it is only health that you are thinking about, I would trust a few drops or even a teaspoonful of stevia extract made with vodka a lot more than I would trust all the chemicals and manufacturing processes mentioned in the article. There's just no comparison health-wise.

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul
