I am meatless 95 percent of the time. I go for a nice grilled fish once in a while!

I am meatless about three days a week.
Have cut out all beef, pork and lamb.
Feel much better.

I'm going through a contest prep soon so it will only get more exhausting for me. Eating is a chore for me.

I love to pick up turkey post-holidays and roast it up. Pork tenderloin, too.

Thanks for the ideas everyone!

And don't like eating meat everyday. Right now I have to eat 4oz of protein at 4 out of 6 meals a day and eating all of that meat or chicken is getting exhausting. Taking a day off would help me.

We usually have bean tacos, or pasta fagiole, or eggs and veggie hash, or maybe pancakes on our Meatless Mondays. We are always full after them and feel like we had a good meal, but neighter Hubby or myself are hard-core strength training. Good luck!!!

It may be something here in the states - Meatless Mondays was a campaign of sorts to get folks to eat healthier, to introduce more into their diets than just meat. I wouldn't say it has caught on, but, it is catchy and I have had more than several meatless Monday's myself!

Just Monday's Laura! LOL! I cannot go without my meat sources of protein. Trying to figure out what to eat for MM w/o having to use yogurts or carb protein sources that are high in calories. I don't think this is possible for me and the way I workout. I'm still sitting here working on a meal plan.

I love meat. I actually feel better getting rid of the grain. Meat and eggs are a staple for me. I eat it every single day.

I am a vegetarian. You can get the protein that you need from Greek Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, Beans, Peanut Butter, Nuts, Quinoa, and even veggies to keep you going and maintain that muscle! Honestly, since I went meat free I feel even stronger than I did before. Best wishes to you!

Happy Holidays everyone!!

Anybody do meatless Mondays? I want to start doing it, but I strength train heavy and I do HIIT cardio 4 times a week (as it's setup right now for the month of January) and I'm not sure all of these carbs (beans, quinoa, etc.) and no protein is going to help me maintain the muscle gains I've made over the past year.

What do you guys recommend for protein? I want to keep eggs out of Meatless Mondays too. Any ideas?
