My bill is more than this as well but then I'm not as careful as I could be and I give dinner parties too and also help my kids and friends out as well. I'm always trying to get people excited about real food and often give a lot away. summer is here and so are the farmer's markets and farm share boxes. I hope to bring my food bill down.

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

Good article. I sound WAY more on food. lol But, we kind of have expensive tastes.
Our food bill for a family of four was approx $1400 lat month. Although, we had a worker stay with us for two weeks and several dinner parties last month.
