I agree that it would be easy to sneak a few veggies in without them turning their noses up to it. I hated onions but when mom cooked with them and didn't tell me, I never knew the diference.

Ridiculous! I often put pizza toppings on a portabello mushroom, or make a spinach pesto crust (no grain). Hmm.. I wonder why they don't just PUT some veggies on the pizza?!!!Tomatoes slices, peppers, onions, mushrooms. When I was a kid these foods I normally hated, but on a pizza I would LOVE them.
I saw this report yesterday at the gym. So ridiculous. There is not a half cup of sauce on any slice of pizza. And as a former teacher, I can tell you that there is barely ANY sauce on school pizza due to time constraints of the staff and the food stock because of the cuts in our schools budgets. I would be packing my kids lunches if i still had some in the system.
