She says to just GIVE UP sugar. Hooray!
Good section on herbs, roots and superfoods. "Herbs for health and weightloss"
She has limited starchy carbs to 1-2 servings per day
Meal plans look do-able
She reinforces portion size and portion control
Talks about organic is better. And it is better than non-rorganic. Not simply for the reasons of less toxins like pesticides and insecticides but also (and she didn't mention this), that when you buy organic you are guaranteed an NON GMO food product.
She has added coconut and coconut oils to her recipes. YAY!
She promises you the ULTIMATE DREAM body in 28 days.
She has changed her take on margarine. It USED to be "good" now it's "bad". No further explanation...
Saturated fat is "bad". She doesn't really seem to know the difference between different types of saturated fats. If she does know she doesn't explain this...
Talks about organic meats being better. But I would take grass fed meats over organic everyday.
She says that we should always drink distilled water. Distilled water is like a sponge and is great to take for periods of detoxification or when chelating heavy metals from your body. Long term use will deplete all of your body's mineral stores
The recipes look OK, but nothing really original or wonderful. Also, I think that most people will have a hard time finding foods like wild boar and elk or be bothered to cook things like duck.
Ummm. HEY! I thought she said NO SUGAR for this 28 day diet, yet there it is (honey)in her recipes. (she had listed HONEY as one of the forms of SUGAR to be aware of...)
She is still using soy, tofu and tilapia in her recipes.
FINAL NOTE: Save your money. Nothing new in here and just more conflicting information fro Tosca. I hope my wasting my money on this book has saved some of you some of your hard earned cash.
